It's real ....... footage of a fire at a petrochemical complex.

Although they have problems with the cooling system at the Fukushima nuclear power plant, and a number of local residents have been evacuated as a precaution, there is no indication of immediate danger and it certainly is not going to blow up.

IF it is truth - I can't even imagine the hell the victims ill be going through. From the original catastrophe, to the after shocks, tsunamis, landslides, and now nuclear contamination???

EDIT TO ADD - The original person who posted and self proclaimed created this video on youtube purports the explosion to be of a Japanese nuclear plant. My involvement was in helping to post a link that was not posted correctly by the creator of the video.

SECOND EDIT - The original poster of this video has removed the video. Enough said.

Yeah, it's crazy. They had giant cranes spraying water at that petro plant, apparently on pipes coming to/from the tanks that were on fire - presumably to try and cool them down (pipes weren't on fire). I can't imagine the heat coming off the tank fire - reminded me some Gulf War oil fire scenes (or worse). I hope everyone got out of there.

I wish you people could see some of the the news footage they are showing on tv right now here in Japan. Unbelievable. Many videos from Tokyo, Sendai, and elsewhere showing the ground splitting open with huge crevices opening up as it hit. Large trees violently shaking. Have to say it was all shocking and sobering seeing it, even though we took quite a shaking ourselves here on the northern island.

does anybody know when the wave is due to hit hawaii?

German news report some new infos about the Fukushima nuclear power plant. The emergency cooling system is only running on batteries now. They will only last for a few hours.
