And I mean
!!!!

This could be due to the release of gasses along that fault or in relation to a possible magma chamber under Fuji.

A recent article suggest that volcanos can reawaken much more quickly than previously thought.

Scary scary stuff

It seems like all these animals are the canaries in the coalmine. But we don´t take all the signals.

Yeah we can use this. In the future after a bunch of tuna in a fish farm die we will know there was a recent major earthquake.

They have lost all control and have given up. There is no one left to fight the meltdown.

They are about to turn to the U.S. Military for help. I'm not sure what can be done from this point on.

Kyodo News: NEWS ADVISORY: Seawater injection into No.4 reactor via helicopter too risky: Edano (11:39)

Even if they ask the U.S. for aid, what do they expect to happen? It is too dangerous to do anything on land, and do dangerous to do anything by air...

So its not safe for the workers but its safe for the military? To me this seems like a suicide mission.

Japan says it is ready to ask the US military for help in battling the crisis at the Fukushima nuclear plant, the AFP news agency reports

Had better not be by by Fuji or else that would be the second 6 to happen at Fuji today.

I agree. It seems so silly to ask the military for help now. The only thing that I can imagine the U.S. Military doing is dropping a tactical nuke on the plant...and that's not a possibility.

It's almost as if they are trying to shift a hot potato to someone else...literally. But you can't play Hot Potato with a man-made catastrophe.

I'm starting to think it is, but no one wants to come out and say it. I don't see anyone left in Tokyo by Saturday.

Tokyo will be a ghost town.

I saw this too but then couldn't find any new quake on google earth. After this report another report came on and it seemed like maybe the quake happened earlier in the day??? Any idea if this was indeed a new one or an old report? It's confunsing as I thought the feed was live.
Hope it's old news.....

Where do you think 42 million people from the Tokyo area would suddenly go? It would take a least a month or two to evacuate that area. What other areas in Japan could suddenly support 47 million people? The infrastructure can't handle a sudden evacuation on that scale. Most people in Tokyo aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They would just be told to stay inside if radiation levels rise dramatically.
