You do not have a life. Life is what you are.
You and life equals two.
Life is life.
Life is god.
It is one.

Thinking that life and you are separate is what makes us ask 'is there god?'.
When it is realized that there is just 'this', god is known

The answer is...

Maybe

We all make the mistake that god is to be found in the building blocks, ie atoms, molecules then cells on to brains.
But we all know that all atoms, etc appear in something that is prior, nothing can exist without the space for it to appear in.
First there was nothing.
So god must be the nothing, or the no thing.
All things appear from the no thing.

Is there a God? I wonder if we could relate to a real concept of what God is. I often think this concept got 'humanized' once leaders decided that they were Gods. The Pharoahs, the Emperors. However if one looks closely at just how long 'God' took to create the earth and for us, its atmosphere - 2 million years, I have difficulty getting my head around how old this Being actually is.

A Being that is eternal to my minute - blink and you will miss me existence, bears no common relationship that I can understand or truthfully relate to.

The being that is eternal is YOU.
God creates what is seen, the miracle, the mystery called life.
What is seen right now, is being seen by the eternal being.
You are that.

We have been taught completely wrong.
We think the world is solid, that it was here before we arrived and will be here after we have departed.
The world and you are two sides of the same coin.
The world appears where you are only.
All else is illusionary.

Excellent questions.

God is within you. Think of yourself as a finger. God is the rest of your body. You are not separate from the rest of your body. You have just forgotten who you are. That is why you are here. We are all tentacles of the same god. We are all experiencing universe individually and on a nightly basis we are taking this experience back up.

Any information that tells you that you are alone, an individual or require an external source to worship is a system of deception. It is another system for you to learn more. The truth of the fact is that we are all connected. We are all one.

The systems of deception that take you away from your true way are
1. government - trust someone else
2. religion - god is outside you. someone will save you externally.
3. Buddhism religion even - if you are worshiping statues you are on the wrong path.

The only thing that you need to worship is yourself. Love how you are, what you are and experience everything as it is. Don't judge people and events. Everything happens for a reason. That reason is for you to learn something.

Impossible to prove but I think yes. I see certain things in nature and they inspire me in a way that is not of this world...it is somehow above and beyond it. It is God talking. Look what I have given you. Many people do not hear and acknowledge this but I see and hear it everyday in some way. Yes. I am here.
So no matter what the "educated, skeptical and doubters" say to me..I believe in my heart of hearts, YES there is a God.

Many people are turning from the Bible because of things that are so not like what a loving benevolent God is pictured as.
The old Testament is filled with violence of a people trying to establish themselves in a world that is filled with savagery. God's Chosen people also exhibit the same kind of behavior as their enemies. Sometimes worse.
The commands of God to go out and kill the people of other lands is probably the prophet writers biased opinions getting in the way. God was their God and he took care of his "Chosen." They were being killed as their journey took them over uncharted territories that came into contact with other people. These people had no idea of this God. These fought back when an invading force came upon them. Some fierce battles went on in the Old Testament to gain control of the land.
The Amalekites caused God anger against them to kindle.
I Samuel !5:3--Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel, and ass.
This is certainly not the picture we have of an all loving God that loves all his children.
There is many such verses as these in the OT. But if it you take it to be the literal it is hard to understand a loving God only caring for one certain group of people, and at times did not tolerate them either.
I was cking links on the number of religions in the world...Some say there are as many as 30,000.

Last time I checked...life was a biological function. Life is a description of an object, it is either alive or not...or sort of alive (there are fuzzy areas in molecular biology).

I am not life, I am alive. And last time I checked, labeling something as 'god' for no reason is entirely illogical.

Everyone please calm down.
Judging one another degrades the soul. If one is happy with the way he/she lives than you have no right to give them guidance through your beliefs, let alone trying to force your beliefs onto someone.
In my opinion, we are all gods, Jesus calls god father because he actually is our father, we are his children think of it like that, we are all gods capable of lots of things; we can create our own paths we can love each other or vice versa.
We accumulate energy throughout our lives without realising, those who understand the concept of things will come to the same point that to live as our higher selves we need to build up lots of good energy and this is done by living for others not for yourself. If you live for yourself if you live with passion then you return to the same spot with no good energy gathered and have to start again like taking a break from school.
If you live doing bad deeds then that is reverse of good energy, that's something you don't want if you want to live as your higher self and out of the universe of delusions. This is our mission but within that mission we may have others and this is our vocation, we all have different jobs according to it.
Well that's my point of view along with others ^. Do what is right for you, if you do you will eventually succeed in gaining knowledge though keep yourself from harming others.
Common sense - another term for being locked in a room with limited actions. Think outside of the box this universe doesn't certainly have to be real, find out the answers for yourself.
Im bored so I'ma stop typing for nao.

So the reason for this thread is just to ask some questions I've had and offer some of my thoughts.

1. Is there God? Is there a God? I've always, just believed that there was, that there has to be.
2. If there isn't God, then for what purpose is life? Why live? Who really cares? What's the point?
3. If there is God, then what of religion? Is one correct over the others?
4. Yes, I've read the bible-pretty much every word at one time or another. I'm not convinced that it's right. It's all over the place and hard to read and comprehend. Would God make a book that hard to read and understand?
5. What of Christianity?

1. no there is no god, there is no evidence for one, and no there doesn't have to be a god.
2. only you can give yourself a purpose, you're only here because your parents had sex, so if you're looking for a why, go ask your parents
3. that's the beauty of it, if there ever was a god, then wouldn't you think he'd make his divine plan known to all? but no, just a bunch of text written by desert ppl
4. no a god wouldn't make a bible written like ANY of our texts. that's why they're bogus and fictitious.
5. christianity is the belief that jesus was the son of god and he died for your sins ect.

hope this clears things up a bit

God or a higher being was a way of explaining things we didnt understand, science started to answer some of our questions, science became so detrimental to the idea of there being a god that the catholic church (the most powerful organisation in the world at that time) ordered the arrests/killings of any scientists, now we are at a stage when science has broken free, and to be truly honest as a person that would not be ignorant enough to totally disregard any theory, it seems as though science has shown that religion is not true, but that does not mean that religion doesn't have its place in this world, a lot of intelligent people decide to have a faith, and having faith suits some people, in times of despair and hardship, people get through it by believing that there is a greater being playing their hand for them, whether faith actually helps is not the issue, i definately seems to help some people. To finish i would like to say, if u talk of god as an actual being then probably no, he doesn't exist. But if u ask does he seem to be present and relevant, and serve a purpose in the world, then very probably he does exist

Listen guy, there is evidence for what 90% of people could interpret as god.

If you are familiar with the "21 grams theory", you would know that your "soul" has an energy field that converts partly to mass carrying particles after death.

en.wikipedia.org...(doctor)

Newtonian physics can tell you that there is a soul, with the laws of thermodynamics. Energy cannot be created, nor destroyed. The energy you use to think with , IS energy all the same. Not magic.
E=mc2 will have you believe that energy and mass are inexricably linked. They are two sides of the same coin.

Reverse the relative polarity of those energy fields, and you have what is termed "dark energy". Energy that cannot interact with "positive" energy. So right there is proof of an existance that is physicall, but unreachable in OUR reality. Some people have called this state of being "God". Are you getting it now?

Your particle energy, will not change polarity from one body/life to the next unless certain things are done to increase is ease of movement throughout the body, thus providing the proper friction and chemical environ for polarity to waver.

The Chinese call this energy field "chi" or "qi". The Hindu's call it "chakra". The Japanese call it "Ki'. When it moves thoughout the body, through glandular centers, its polarity can be affected in such a way that the cessation of circulation(death) will cause the polarity to finally flip. And your gone for real now. No longer will will your energy live in this crude world of matter. Heaven. Its just that simple.

If you do not culitvate you energy, you will simply be drawn towards the gravitational field of Earth, and eventually recycled into the magnetic field, as you are still a polarized form of energy. This explains some of the "EVP" phenomena. Souls that contained much energy, but still maintained a positive polarity at death, would be dissapated more slowly and allow for electromagnetic fields to be manipulated on cassette tapes.

So yea, with a little more polish that is the scientific religion of Earth.

Thanks to all those incredibly brave scientists and philosophers, that often lost their lives in the natural human pursuit to understand God. Those honored men and women are as beacons in the night for humanity. May they find their answers in the here-after, as they have helped us to find ours on Earth.

implying that we have a soul to begin with...

a very BIG implication too. we'll leave the soul thing to scientists, and as of yet, there is no actual proof we have a soul. but if you've found one, present it to the National Science Foundation.

edit; not to sure what you're arguing for. we dont know what dark matter is, nor do we understand it. we certainly dont know how it works, but if it's anything like the physical, it would just disperse back into nothingness like your physical body.

We have proof of an bio electric energy field that resides within the body. This is how EEG's work. This is how accupuncture works. This is how Shaolin monks can sleep naked in ice baths with no loss of body temperature. Its called chi, and its common knowledge.

We cannot understand dark particles, because they cannot interact with light, or mass, that has an opposite polarity. Duh.

Dark matter is NOT affected by regional gravitation, we can prove this because 90% of the universe is made up of dark particles, and yet it fails to condense into spheroidal structures, like stars, or interact in any way with positive particles or waves.

So yea, my theory is quite sound I think.

These anti God people are just people who have no time for God and certainly no money for him . They convince themselves that there is no God and invite other missguided notions to fortify their walls against what they know to be truth . The Word Of God is an inconvient truth for many . Soon we will see world events change to the point where even they can't play it off any more . Then they will be eager for the word of God , but it will be too late .
How sad . But for some one who took time with us we might also be with them .

yes we have electrical energy running through our body, i have seen "dynamo jack's" video on youtube. quite interesting actually what great discipline can achieve.

also if we dont know how dark matter works, i dont think it'd be best to set implications as to how it works, that's just bad science. so i dont see how your argument is validated by YOUR implications...

if you'd like to rephrase your argument, i'll look at it, but because you think you're right doesn't make is so.

Why don't you say you just don't know .Because you don't . Not everybody can or ever will believe . Yes there are large holes in sciences theories on life . You can't prove God and you can't prove life without God . So keep on researching with an open mind . I would hate to convince someone that God does not exist and then later find God does exist .
