I was waiting for this to happen and it appears it already has - is this just the start?

Day Of Rage: Americans Finally Reacting To Economic Rape?

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
February 17, 2011

Last month we speculated how long it would take for the scenes on the streets of Cairo to be repeated in America. After all, Americans are facing similar levels of economic rape to those that prompted Egyptians to rise up and overthrow 30 year dictator Hosni Mubarak.

My guess is that the whole world is going to go into uproar.

What happened in Egypt is the start of a domino effect of unprecedented levels.

Whether or not this collapse was completely orchestrated or not is a different matter. Although I am lead to believe that it is indeed being guided.

My worry is what comes next. But people can only be pushed so far. I also think it may be quided but to what end - third world war! God Forbid! Unrest is often followed be wars.

nah. i dont think so.

when americans have 'days of rage', many people are killed en masse, hundreds of millions of dollars of property damage happens and, sometimes, thousands of tons of ordnance is expended.

My guess is Martial law. Followed or preceded by economic collapse.

Followed up by the push for a one world economy. Leading on to the push for a one world government.

My two pence.

I do think they are going to be pushed even further in the not too distant future - When poverty bites, it bites hard and bites those who (don't) feed them.
Some/many will survive the measures being put in place but most will not and they will have nothing to lose by rising up.

except their lives, and the lives of generations to come.

i fear that should an islamic excursion across israeli borders occur, you're going to see absolute hell unleashed onto major arab cities.

these people are not messing around. in fact, i think some folks over there are waiting to spread around some ancient, medieval pain that's been held down for a long long time.

It's certainly looking that way - just a matter of time in my eyes. The Historic Medieval Pain will I think soon awaken.

That's some pretty far reaching journalistic license going on there. It's Union people who are already paid far more than the private sector workers that pay the taxes to pay their wages. They want more candy and they want it now. Problem their State is flat broke.

We have had far, far worse than this little demonstration by overpaid people demanding more and that the State take more from other people to pay them.

The fear mongers are hard at work trying to cause trouble. The Nihilists, though they are few in number are pretending they represent the general population. Not even close.

One thing is for sure, they need some simple math lessons. When there is no more money, you can't give them any more money. Their demands are completely illiterate in fact. It's all political crap and the Union people are being played like a fiddle by the Progressives. They don't know they are being used to destroy the whole country for the interest of a few Globalists.

Yeah..."day of rage" is cute but the real day of rage will be when people can't feed their families any longer.
The average citizen in Cairo was spending something insane like 80% of their income to eat.
I think it's just some Americans exercising their constitutional right to assembly and free speech.
Not saying that a larger movement will not happen though...stranger things have happened and there are a lot of pissed off people out there...
It'll take a lot for this nation to come together in a common voice though because unfortunately the average citizen will just yell at the tv, bitch for a while and go back to work the next day.

It won't be long before other states move into the same mode then the whole of America will see just how big this thing is that's when it will move on a stage.
The American people are going to really feel it in the pocket after bailing out the Banks while the Banksters still live the life of luxury. That's hard to take.

When John Connor appears, don't be surprised if he has a 'record' courtesy of TPTB (and his bat-crazy ma, too).

This beastie is so perfectly built, that John & Co. are going to need a boatload of luck to survive the psywar, let alone the rock & roll part.

Gorbachev is afraid of something according to another ATS thread.

Rock on, Wisconsin...

So my question is if and when the people of America take to the streets to try and change our government , will Obama be behind them like he was for the Egyptian protesters? Doubt it.........

Blaine, I think you've assessed the situation well.

Most of these protestors are teachers that called in sick and will be paid for the day by the taxpayers they're ultimately trying to manipulate.
This is just a well orchestrated media play put together by well trained union leaders.

The protests will be a LOT scarier when it really is the hungry poor... no more chants and placards. Then you'll start seeing stones and molotov cocktails.

The fight is not about the unions in my opinion it is about the peoples rights to have their voices heard and regardless if you think union memebers get paid too much, they pay more taxes than the average joe blow. Unions were enacted in the United States because of unfair and exploitive actions of employers and monopolys and trust! I support the unions because of the fact that they are the ones with true red, white and blue balls( no pun intended). I am so tired of people sitting in their chair and whining and not getting up and doing something about it. I wouldn't care if you were union members or not just as long as YOU can stand up and fight for what is right and straighten the crooked. I will do it and have done it. Have you lost your American pride???? I don't even care what country you belong to, Just do something to lift up your fellow man and in turn he will lift you up. Hell even Canadians realize that they have to make their voices heard. It isn't the union's fault the state is going broke. There are a lot of little issues but the main issue is the FEDERAL RESERVE. I have a belief and will stand my ground and I beg you to get up and find your belief and don't waiver, even if it is different than mine. I support your right to speak and be heard and I welcome it, just don't be quiet. Don't tread on me and I won't tread on you.
