i gotta admit AWESOME. it would be one thing to predict a quake from japan, but to predict a quake in the OCEANS around japan? that little tidbit is what sells me on the thread!

unless he works for haarrrp, and he just knew we were going to smack japan.

my bro told me a funny story. he said, disinformation works like this. they tell us 1000 'truths' 1000 top secret facts, and inside that they hide ONE lie, the most important lie of course, so that we will believe it. they will 'sacrifice' 1000 secrets, just to convince of the most important lie.

i hope its legit. i have been reading ATS for a while now, and i read so many fascinating articles, but this could be the first 'incredible' feat i read, someone proved clairvoyance!!!

you may have had a mild dizzy spell, vertigo, maybe you have an inner ear infection affecting your balance, tiredness, got up to quickly, a flush of anxiety, blood pressure dropped or raised, etc.
but on ATS we better put it down to a psychic attack from alien ghosts.

I must admit that this thread has restored a large amount of faith I had lost for ATS and its countless prediction threads. While I am still on the fence about the dozens of predictions per day, I will be paying special attention to the OP's future threads from now on.

This is beyond fascinating and to the OP, you sir may full well have something very unique and special. Thank you for sharing this information with those of us who lack the gift which you appear to have been blessed with.

Astonishing!

I agree with these two quotes. The OP's post has no date predicted, and it was made over a month ago. With the frequency of earthquake prediction posts made on ATS and 2012 getting closer, getting one right is no impressive feat.

Now, if the March 15th pole shift happens, maybe I'll gain back a little respect for predictions...

The argument that there are so many predictions on ATS that someone is bound to get one right seems like a false argument to me. It doesn't matter how many predictions have been on ATS. The question is, "How many predictions has the OP made on ATS?" Wouldn't that be the more accurate way to look at it? I mean, what if instead of posting this on ATS, the OP posted on a site that had no predictions. Would that somehow make the prediction more remarkable?

I'm sorry but I must disagree and point out that people should not be joining ATS in order to become "legends"... Humility and truth, my friend...

A word of consideration; your 'signature' indicates you are one who possesses a discerning nature, a good character trait if accurate. Employ discretion in the revelation of the dreams you have, such things have a way of 'getting turned round', to the point that the 'messenger' gets blamed for the message delivered, often by those who do not share in the experiencing of such things. Not saying that you should not reveal such dreams should you have them in the future, just that you should employ discretion in the manner in which you do so depending on the content / context of such dreams.

Sometimes such things are onetime occurrences, sometimes not. Sometimes they take on a personal nature, sometimes not (as in this case). In this case, there is no way you could have been discretionary. If this is something you experience from time to time, learn to 'learn' from it. In other words, examine it an learn to define it. Sometimes when one possesses a heightened interest in a particular topic or topics one becomes 'attuned' to facets or tenets of that topic to the point that one consciously or sub-consciously develops a heightened awareness of it. Sometimes its just a heightened awareness of one's environment, and anomalies in it that make one more aware or sensitive of such things.

Similar to the same manner in which animals 'sense' changes in their environment, often days before those events materialize. Its the same manner in which a farmer or one who is in tune with the land or environment in which he exists on a daily basis over time develops a 'feel' for what seasons will bring; or in the case of an effective gambler which horse or number is the 'right' one.

The method by which that 'precognition' is realized, be it a 'gut feeling', 'vision', 'dream', or simply 'just knowing', is not necessarily of consequence, ... its the content that is. Perhaps this is a one time occurrence, perhaps not. Just keep in mind that those who do not consider such things may not be considerate of them nor those who experience them.

I was referring to the 7.2 that went off on the 9th.

there was no damage, no tsunami, no injuries, reported just some rocking and rolling.

That's why my post was flippant. and I thought that was the end of it,

wish I hadn't now!

no, your wrong. The argument is correct.

If a million people predicted what date obama is going to die, chanses are someone will guess the exact date of his death. It does not mather if 1 person did a million predictions, or if a million people made 1 prediction each, or where they posted their predictions. The statistics would still be the same.

Someone dreamt of an earthquake hitting Japan? Ok. I dreamt of a blizzard hitting upstate NY...if that happens next winter I want some damn flags and stars. I don't think OP is lying, but it wasn't exactly an improbable scenario.

HUndreds of posts with predictions every day = some of them will be right.

This isn't anything strange. Sorry to burst your bubble.

In relation to this precognition, I stumbled upon a youtube video, 'predicting' an event in the period March 11-25 based on the path of comet Elenin.

www.youtube.com...

Note that the video was placed on March 8! Just like OP it mentions the februari 27th Chile earthquake. Put aside the discussion weather a comet could have so much influence (some say it might be a brown dwarf, opening up many possibilities), this led me to think that OP's and other peoples headaches are not so related the upcoming event, like the EQ this time, but coming from cosmic events like alignments as described in the video.

The imminent EQ in that region might just got its last push from that same cosmic event. The dream is something else, but since OP states he now and then checks the USGS world view, I guess it is not hard for the unconsious mind to associate its view in dreams.

On it I saw a LARGE RED sqaure surrounded by many other smaller squares just of the east coast of Japan.

Majority if earthquakes in Japan occur on the east coast anyway, because thats where the plate boundaries are, so the reference to east coast proves nothing.
