Agreed.
I think we're dealing with emotions here and not social disciplines.
There are many different cultures and many different ways of seeing
our existence.

I just don't see any other species on this planet debating what is
acceptable in their groups, deciding to destroy the individuals
involved and then pointing at a pile of paper and saying that it's okay
because another of their species passed the information along via ink.

With all due respect,,sir, how is this mindset any different than that of the frenzied mob of self-proclaimed, 'sin-less' and hypocritical stone throwers in the video, so zealously becoming judge, jury and executioner over their young brethren?

To some extent we are ALL lost, but we still have God-given choices over our own direction in life; among those choices are love over judgement, compassion over hatred,...and understanding over fear.

To get to this people you have to change their psychology, that with religion
comes common sense, you should not kill someone for what they did to themselves, fine or jail would have been enough, and how will correct the wrong doing as she committed adultery. Simply overpunishment.

How would you like to be Islamic at Christmas time. See the President lite the National XMass tree, have the "First Lady" give a tour of the white house -- complete with thousands of Christmas decorations. This "freedom of religion" thing in the USA is disgusting.

The terrible thing is I barely react to these events anymore, all you'd get out of me is a sigh... I have no problem with religion as a whole, but when people use it in the name of violence and killing it makes me sick to the very core of my soul.

This is just more proof that religion IN TOTAL is a bad idea. Crusades, Inquisitions, Jihad. Even religions of peace like Buddhism are destructive to its practitioners, unless they dilute it down to what it is nowadays. But Muslims are particularly worthless.

I can only wonder how many Einsteins or Newtons or Curies got stoned to death, by those worthless cavemen. That woman could have solved cancer in another country, but there she is just property.

Lets all step back and look at the bigger picture. The stoning was, without question, horrific. But we Westerners must remember that this is the law of their land, NOT ours. They have been following Sharia for centuries, it is a part of their life, of their customs, and an influence of their ideologies. They take their religion so seriously that they would stone a 19 year old girl to death. Now that's conviction.

We were just as they were once. There was a time where a man was held accountable for his tongue and his actions. An insult was only made if one was willing to die for it, unlike today, where insults can be thrown around like sand without consequences. There was a time when a thief was caught the victim had the right to dispose of the thief.

Its truly not fair to call them animals or uncivilized, when we ourselves are just as, if not more, heinous than they are. Adultery in our culture is not only casual its encouraged in the media! You may say adultery doesn't hurt anyone, but your sorely wrong. Murderers get life in prison, rapists spend a few years, and thieves get a slap on the wrist. We live in a culture without morals, while they live in a culture that takes it too far.

The only difference between these Islamic extremists and most Christians is that Christians don't carry out what their Bible tells them to do.

Fortunately, most of the World's Muslims are not extremists, but it is interesting how many more extremists we see in the Muslim religion than the Christian. The craziest Christians range from merely insulting to sporadic violence and murder.

If there were Christians that took the Bible literally, and carried out "the will of God as writ in the Bible" then we'd see these EXACT same actions of insanity that we see the Islamic extremists.

Without the Bible I woudn't have been made aware of the love of God as spirit and truth through the person of Jesus.

This old flawed argument again.

A core belief of Islam is to spread it EVERYWHERE to EVERYONE. That means these people, with "conviction" as you put it, are also dedicated to a future where YOU and/or YOUR DESCENDANTS are under their rule.

Therefore, we don't have to respect their culture. They are already dedicated to destroying ours first chance they get.

According to your "let's respect it" logic, you must respect my wishes to preserve my culture and beliefs. So your rant against people, who themselves are against Islam, is hypocrisy. BTW, this is why this argument is forever flawed.

They STILL kidnap little girls, forcibly convert them to Islam, and then forcibly marry them.
They STILL stone female children for just looking at a boy wrong.
They STILL rape their child "brides". (abuse victims)

The biggest organization of Christians is the Catholic church. They deny gays entry to their religion, yet more than half their priests (including the Pope) are gay. They prop up corrupt societies like Haiti and Mexico. They demand that birth control methods not be used allowing for huge families which cannot be afforded.

These are the "true Christians"?

Christianity is a cruel club where the rules are "I'm ok, you are OK".
