This is a good point.

BUT-We would have to make sure to start an entirely different system, that would not allow these powerful parasitical Elitists to rig the system, yet again. It would have to be a grass roots system, independent of corporate influence or funding. Right now our entire system, on both sides of the 2 party crime family, is pretty much CONTROLLED and DECIDED by corporate lobbying and 'donations'.

We would have to make this outlawed and detach from this paradigm entirely, otherwise the exact same scenario will continue to repeat itself, ad infinitum. They are pulling all of the strings right now.

It will get messy fast if ant anti goverment or revolution happens in the US it really will be like the wild west

If you guys think it is that bad and want to go riot....then DO IT. Stop trying to get other people do what you are too weak to do yourself. This whole thread is nothing but trying INCITE a riot by other people...because none of you have the backbone to do it yourself.

I think you are mistaken in your assumptions about the intention of those around you here OutKast Searcher. Even those of us who are speaking for direct action against a government arent saying that it is what we WANT . To WANT disorder and chaos is not a mark of a healthy political attitude, or for that matter a healthy mind.
Me personaly, I do not think that there is the merest hope of an uprising of any gravity in the US, because the numbers just wouldnt be big enough. As I have mentioned before, I do not believe that the government of the US could be stupid enough to annoy the myriad of people they would have to , in order to instigate a chain of events leading to a serious protest based uprising.
However, should it occur it wont be because people WANT a massive fight with some cops, to risk getting shot, to risk being beaten to death, to breathe tear gas and choke on it. It will occur only when the government put the large majority of people in a position which forces them to take action against the government. That is hardly the same thing as what you are suggesting, which is that people here are trying to incite people to riot. Thats not a remotely fair or accurate assesment of any of the activity in this thread, and I have to wonder why it is you chose to read it that way.
Can you give me a clear idea of why it is that you assume that people in general on this thread WANT a mass battle in the streets, based on the activity in this thread so far?

Here is the big differnce between me and you....I stand up for what I believe in and take the actions necessary needed to do that, that is I am speaking out agains you and the other "internet revolutionaries" and would actively oppose you if you guys ever got off your butts and off the computer. I dont really see how you can look at mass rioting in the streets of NY as Bliss. Most people would take the opportunity to loot and kill at random. Lawless chaos....hmmm sounds wonderful /sarcasm.

I'm pretty excited to be honest. I remember walking through New York seeing people everywhere, and the energy of the environment was amazing. If riots where to break out in America, so much energy would be released by the people it'd be bliss.

I do concur with your post. S+F It has been long overdue that we as true patriots as american citizens should revolt against an oppressive government. I among many of my friends are getting more tired of ignorant voters placing a smiling untrusting politician into office.

I think you are misunderstanding me.

I don't see any need for riots, revolution, or any act of violence.

My action I am taking is speaking out against these people...my other action is being political active to affect change in the proper way through the CONSTITUTION. What people in this thread are wanting to do is incite violent revolution because the political process didn't work out the way they want...so instead of trying harder to promote their views through the proper channels...they think violent revolution is a better solution.

I read your quotes from the rest of the thread, and I agree that there was pro protest sentiment in them, but thats very different from WANTING to have a mass battle with police in the streets. While the posters you quoted surely agree that there is a need for action, and that in thier opinion it is long overdue , that merely means that they recognise the need for a measure of resistance against , and for some degree of control to be exerted over what they see as an oppressive and dysfunctional runaway government. It is however also the case, that the majority of posters you quoted would clearly rather that the course of action they are now facing, was not necessary.
I think the fustration you see on this board is aimed at the need for this planned uprising, rather than being evidence of a desire for carnage and destruction. Its very easy to misinterpret preparedness for a desire for chaos, but its still a misinterpretation.

What I see on this board are people trying to incite others into violence, I see them trying to rile people up to go out and commit acts of violence. What I don't see is any of these people willing to do anything themselves...it's cowardice and dangerous.
