911 truthers are extremists who need to be brought to justice.

Brought to justice? For what crime? For invoking our 1st Amendment rights? For requesting redress? For asking for a new 9/11 investigation? If you think anyone needs to be brought to justice for obeying the law, then you're in the wrong country. The U.S. of A. is not the place for you.

Your comments suggest that 9/11 truthers be brought to justice for acting within their constitutional rights. For us to be "brought to justice", you would have to take away our constitutional rights, and that just won't work here in the USA. Anyone who would take away someones constitutional rights, or stand in the way of people exercising their constitutional rights, are traitors and terrorists, and have no business being in this country.

So, you can take your "9/11 truthers are extremists who should be brought to justice" traitorous remarks and bark up some other tree because you'll find very few people to support that crap. Especially on a conspiracy website.

I think thats about as dangerous as anyone would get in all honesty.

i don't think people really need to get concerned about lone gun men all over, but those philly subs better look * snip * out!

I'm with you guys: I'd fight for a genuine Philly Cheese Steak Sub. If anyone doesn't understand that, you ain't never had one!

I am a 911 truther and Glenn Beck is a rabid dog. We all know what happens to rabid dogs. I am laughing so hard. Come and get me. Too bad Glenn, there are no new laws to protect the buffoons in media.

Though I'm not a fan of GB, I think the OP took the words from GB out of context? The video clearly suggests that he is stating his opinion on whom is " dangerous".

Ugh, Beck. He's such an a**. I say that as someone who also disagrees with the Truther point of view about 9/11, I think it's misguided, but I would never compare them to Loughner for that. They are generally decent people who are upset about what happened on that day and who, I believe, want clarity and an answer to what happened that makes sense to them. Again, I think they are wrong about most things, but that doesn't make them the equivalent in any way to a mass murderer...I can't even begin to understand how someone could make that sort of leap of logic in their mind. Of course such insane leaps are something I have come to expect from Glenn Beck. He's done it before about other things - it's something he does a lot.

Thank you for the vivid illustration of what Glenn Beck was talking about. Pretty sure issuing threads like that are against the rules.

Which is why he said very plainly and clearly that being a truther does not make you a Loughner.

Amazing how a half truth or select omission can become absolute truth so quickly. Even with the OP's admission of being wrong in his own thread.

These threads are like a crazy game of telephone.

Look, i owned up to my mistake of not knowing about the unnamed friend of Loughner and the supposed comment's Loughner made about 911, sourced by the AP.

But trying to insinuate that i'm throwing around half truths or purposely omittting what GB said to sensantionalise what happened on that show today is completely false, and when, and if, i can find a video of the 5pm EST show people can see for themselves.

His rants about the gold standard...
are clearly derived from Beck....So beck is trying to spin this so no one blames him....

Looks like Beck is trying to deflect a finger pointed his direction.

I never heard a thing about about Loughner having opinions or comments on 9/11 except from this thread. His space rants were about manned space missions, specifically about the Shuttle missions. I read Erad3's comments and he spoke of dangers in space that could kill astronauts and there not being sufficient oxygen for them to stay in space for those long of missions, but he never raised doubt about unmanned missions.

There is more to point to Beck for Loughner's ideas than any other source I can think of. Beck is just deflecting.

Such as? I'm not defending, I am genuinely curious as to what makes you state that.

Just watched the video and Beck said he would not blame the truthers or the "moon landing was fake" people because "the facts do not support it".

There ya have it. OP took Beck's comments out of context, and/or didn't continue to listen to what Beck had to say.

I personally can't stand Beck, but Beck does get +1 point for admitting he can't blame the truthers because the evidence doesn't support the facts.

I am with you. I don't like people who talk to me like a preacher and that is the number one reason I do not listen to nor want to listen to Glenn Beck.

But the people that have rabid hatred towards the man will not care that they have taken it out of context. It doesn't fit their model and view upon the man.

I was referring to Beck's rants about currency and gold standard, not that I watch Beck often enough to know all his views. From what I read about his show today there was NOTHING beck mentioned that came from ATS. Loughner's space rants were about "manned" missions so nothing said about the Mars Rover. Nothing I read of Erad3's posts even mentioned 9/11. Between the two sources I concluded there was more Beck to Loughner's ideas than ATS. On ATS Erad3 was an "original" - which by that I mean he was out there, beyond comprehension.

PLEASE READ!!!!!

This 5 min clip is from about 20 min's into the show or more. The more irresponsible and ridiculous stuff was said previously in the first 15 minutes of the show prior to the clip posted on page 2. If you will notice in this clip from about 20 minutes into the show he say's.....

I said....I said.... referring to previous comments he made in the show. This was his SECOND comments referring to 911 and Loughner.

We need a video from the very beginning.

Here ya go...

Part I

Part II

He asked for more time because he presented a challenge to his viewers.

Okay...the 5 minute clip comes from about 15 mins into Part I. Nothing in the first 15 minutes was irresponsible. Actually, quite the opposite.

He called for his staff to not make any speculations or comments until facts can be confirmed. He points out that he wants peace and for people to stop down the path they are on.

I am thoroughly confused by the OPs assertion that it was otherwise.

the part that pissed me off was when he started listing various conspiracies that loughner was into.

-911
-fake moon landing
-one world currency
-etc

then his next line was "these are not the beliefs of a coherent person".

he likes to slip in little demeaning comments about anybody that subscribes to any of the conspiracy theories other than his.

i have not seen him provide much evidence backing his own position on most of the conspiracies that he belittles. hes always ranting about facts and getting them straight, yet whenever he decides to discuss 911 he obnoxiously starts ignoreing facts and jumping to conclusions. rather than examine any evidence, he would rather just keep repeating the question "how did they pull it off without anybody saying anything?"

glenn if we knew that, there would be no discussion.

Didn't Beck do a week or something on the NWO a few months ago? Perhaps he is unstable

Last I checked, the NWO is a conspiracy theory.

Pretty funny, considering Beck is a bigger conspiracy theorist than most of us on ATS. If 9/11 had happened under a Democrat, you can bet your bottom dollar Beck would be a truther.

Well that didnt take long. But the thing with Glenn Beck is he put everybody one list or other. There are 6 billion people in the world and they have all been classified by Glenn Beck back on how bad wrong or both they are one way or another and put on a variety of lists. If somebody uses something glenn beck said, I am sure after a bit of digging you can produce an epsiode where Glenn bashes a group, demografic or mindset your opponent associates himself with.

He is only after one thing, ratings and money and sadly being the most outragous person around will get you just that on tv and not just in America. Thats how Hitler gained so much traction. The problem is with people who give him what he craves and earns him money, attention.
