those questions i cannot answer at this time cause i haven't watched it or researched it ... i just read the transcript from the link i shared above. the person who shared the vid w/me stated it was difficult to understand so i had put off listening to it. however, after reading the trans, i'll probably give it some time later this evening.

it is a new and interesting twist to the whole situation? agreed?

It's a ten minute video. I've watched it twice just since you posted the link. I understood it perfectly. But I want to know where that second BC came from and how the Blue Hawaii folks got access to Okubo's birth certificate!

Lots of wild speculation in that video. And I don't think a thing of it until I find out where that alleged 2nd form came from. I'm thinking photoshop.

This video has a lot of unfounded suspicion and assumptions. I don't give it any credence because I know the birther movement well. I can't figure out why he doesn't say where he got this 2nd mystery COLB or how he got hold of Okubu's COLB.

ok, first, names don't really bother me, i just joined the conversation. second, the problem (if there really is one) is ppl like yourself who will Excuse their bad behavior because it's convenient for them. some of us see it clearly.
i'm not particularly fond of either 'nickname' but i didn't bring the issue up, either. care to 'attack' the person who did?
you are the one who listed your 'reasons' (anagrams/abbreviations) for using it and i chose to compare your logic ... one does not equal the other. got a problem with that?
is 'truther' derrogatory?? as it is intended, that's subjective but personally i say yes. it is my understanding that we are ALL supposed to be 'truthers' in one form or another.

i thought ppl came to this site to share info, opinions and stories with an occasional fact or two slipping in between the sheets. Not to be personally attacked, called names, discredited (hehehehehehe, that one still has me giggling), or randomly slammed for opposing opinions. guess i was mistaken.

And if Obama had his long form certificate tested by professionals and they claimed it was valid and true, the birthers would accuse them of being in on it. NO MATTER WHAT happens, they're not going to believe it. So, why should Obama continue to try to appease them?

This part is true. There are some fanatics that are just witch-hunting, but there are also a lot of people like me that just seek the truth. I do think it is proper at this time for Obama to entirely ignore the situation and not flame the fire. He should be focusing on Presiding over the country, and not petty political things. Along those same lines, it really perturbs me that active politicians spend so much of their time campaigning! We don't elect or pay them for that!

There are supposedly genuine birth records and witnesses in Kenya, but as you say, nobody will believe them anyway. It cuts both ways.

The issue cannot possibly be resolved, but we can enact new requirements for the next election, and we can create a process where candidates are vetted before getting on the ballot! That should be the goal at this moment in time!

arrogance breeds ignorance and seldom gains a positive result. skepticism on the other hand breeds enlightenment and thus worthy the effort. I'll keep my skepticism about the whole deal and you are welcome to your arrogance. May it serve you well throughout your journey.

The birthers wouldn't care if DNA evidence traced Obama back to the exact location he was born in America. They'd just say it was fake.

They do not care. They are a group of right-wing extremists who will do anything to get the black guy out of the White House.

And it's not just about race. It's also about right-wing philosophy. They want low taxes for everyone, regardless of how much poverty America endures. Regardless of how many people die due to a negligent healthcare system.

The birthers are very sick people. Rational people will understand this.

when your comment generates a negative affect and you are made aware, yet, you choose to use it anyway, that is an insult.
In America, some words are considered such a horrific personal insult that they are illegal to utter. Even though, many of those words were common language, 30yrs ago. Contrary to your opinion, consideration goes both ways.

I don't use terms like "anti-birther", my language skills surpass such nonsense.

The constitution says POTUS must be NBC. The President is thus morally and legally obligated to show that and the PEOPLE have a right to see such,irregardless of what the phony Black Robed Kangaroos say.

If he claimed he was a citizen of INDONESIA to get student aid or to get into college, then he probably waived his American citizenship and certainly his right to be POTUS. And anybody that would vote for someone who hides all his papers is INSANE.

... only, did you know that 'probably' isn't strong enough.

If it is proven that he received 'foreign aid' (schooling most likely) ... then, by Indonesian law, he had to renounce both his US and UK citizenship. That is their law and the link i had is on another system at the moment but it can be searched easy enough. They did not honor dual or multiple citizenship of any kind. And by then, his previous parental passage was expired.
