I think there's a whole other issue here that scientists are, if not missing, then avoiding..

The other canary islands are displaying movement/noise.
They are at the same level as El hierro was in it's intial stages of rumbling.. and everyone predicted El hierro would go up.

I don't know if the rest of you agree, but if El hierro going up = bad.. and La Palma moving around = Very bad...
Then surely ALL of the islands displaying some amount of movement = Really Really bad??

I mean we on ATS have been saying that la palma on it's own probably wont collapse, and el hierro probably wont collapse, does anyone want to start giving me the odds on ALL of them remaining in one piece if this continues?
Because that's not a bet I want to lose...

All of these islands had significant activity, almost all at the same time frame. That can't be good!

Gran canaria

La Gomera

Lanze rote

Fuert aventura

More:

La gomera

Lanzarote

Fuertaventura

And in response to my question about a weird pulse...
Original post

Puterman said he ''would not venture to suggest a source without being able to listen to it''

Here it is
Sound of the pulse

It's been sped up, but there's one of just a whole hour. Obviously you have to wait every 6 minutes to hear it on that one, so I posted the sped up one..

No idea if any of this helps, and I KNOW el hierro has several threads, and I know I'm super new to all this.. but there's more to it than just a tiny fart from el hierro...
Tell me if I'm wrong, and I can process any and all info you give me and pass it along.

Has anyone seen the pics of the new land which appears to be forming off the coast of El Hierro here

Looks like the caldera is reforming.

by the way, my computer crashed recently and I've lost all my ats years worth of favorites and links. Puterman, I looked for the La Palma seismo on QVS but didn't find it. Would you mind putting the link up? Thanks

Those pictures show the staining on the surface of the sea from the submarine eruption.. not land.

Hengill has had a lot of micro quake activity lately, there were 164 quakes on the 5th of Oct, but only worth 0.222 tonnes of TNT energy release, this latest (overnight here) series is less in number so far (111 right now with 6 hrs to go yet for the 15th) but its the energy released thats important , those 111 are worth 17.3 tonnes

Eruption coming? not sure yet haven't been following the area long enough to see how often this eq swarming occurs, maybe its normal?

Thanks for the link. The footage from the aircraft is awesome. I'd love to have been up there looking down at that scene.
Thanks for the instrument link too, AnnMarie.
