I think you are extremely confused- the thread you are referring to was not about racism,hate, or bigotry- it was about why Muslims/Islam seem to be getting special treatment,favortism, whatever you want to call it- that other races,creeds, religions aren't getting, and people are starting to ask "why??"

I think allot of the hatred comes from the youth being poorly educated about political situations, by un educated parents telling them how it is.
And the parents (not all of them) being educated about situations by biased media organisations,

Just devoting a little time to reading about what has and what is really going on in the world every day has help'd me smash down my prejudgment of an individual and actually changed the way i think about allot of nations some for the better some for the worse

People fear what the don't understand and hate what they cant conquer

So i think that people fear these people because they are different and don't understand them,
And fighting a war on something that has always been and always will be, is not helping people shed there hatred because they know they can never win and that is why they hate Muslims though association with bad press (The last time i heard the word Muslim it was in the same sentence as suicide bomber)

I advise people to actually study a bit about Islam and it's amazing architecture and its vast ancient scientific, mathematic and medicinal heritage

I have to say that if I follow your logic correctly I completely agree. God is God regardless of the name we humans choose to assign. Where we really go wrong is in corrupting the message and meaning and making it fit our own ambitions, obsessions, and desires. I have a hard time believing that ANY doctrine that kills, oppresses, or punishes the innocent for their beliefs or robs them of their basic human rights has anything to do with God or living righteously. Unfortunately, it seems that almost every religion has committed atrocities through the centuries. What is more unfortunate in my opinion, however, is that while some religions have learned the error of their ways and reformed . . . others still honor and practice these time honored traditions and have changed very little since their beginnings; fortunately there are sects that are an exception.

Well I have actually helping good Iraqi immigrants who have integrated well into society in Australia in my capacity working in hospitals! I have also donated money to refugees who have entered Australia legally. I have no time for people who have immigrated illegally!

Thank you for pretty much summing up what I was gonna say.

This isn't american propaganda at work, at least not when it comes to us europeans who actually deal with muslims on a day to day basis.
We don't just see these people on TV, we meet them, we get stabbed by them, we get called racist names by them, we get attacked by gangs of them, they rape our women, burn our cities, live on our welfare system.
And they've got the nerve to act like we owe them a living or something, like we should change for them?
They've already turned my country into a shell of it's former self.

In fact, it's the opposite. Our government is ruining our country with MASS immigration, seemingly without a plan, pushed by the media.

To tell you the truth, you can see connections between scriptures even prior to the Old Testament.

People seem to think that it all started from Old Testament.

Here is an interesting thought:

There are allegations which suggests the Jewish Scripture is a forgery of the Babylonian Scriptures, and that is a forgery of Samarian Scriptures.

A through research in regards would excite you a little bit

Well now that you mention that . . . I just finished a class in which we delved into the Sumerian culture and forward in time. Yes, it was rather enlightening yet text-book education in nature. Actually the Jewish people were not the only ones who adopted and passed down earlier cultures beliefs . . . you find pieces of it throughout many religions, but I am sure that you are already aware of that.

You just have to read between the lines and see the connection.
