Let me tell you one thing; White pride is as Americana as Apple pie. I do not care what people say here in S.W. Virginia. I think everyone who is green, black, blue, brown, etc... should take pride in their race and culture. I am a white man. Would I date say a black girl? Hell 'ya is she looked like Halie Barry. If the P/C people ( and you know who you are ), want to label you or I a bigot or a raciest, well let them. They have, I'll dare to say, an "agenda" and If you take a good look, they are generally the ones who are making a big freaking deal about race huh? Skin tone does not define cultural heritage...American Heritage includes all different colors going back to the Plymouth colony.

I am white and there are Colleges in America to this day that I could never attend because of the color of my skin. There is a double standard whether you choose to see it or not, how long do I have to feel like I'm being punished because white people, European,Jewish, American or what ever 'culture' they were from traded slaves. They couldn't have done it without the help of a lot of black Africans that sold their own people, and as far as that goes they are still taking slaves in certain African country's,if you want to hate somebody hate those people. I could just imagine the outright civil unrest that would have ensued if the "million man march" were a white person political gathering. I'm not quite sure how you want me to touch on the slavery part but I can give my humble opinion.
Im not even certain it is safe to call the so -called African system of servitude, slavery. The concept of lowering a being to the concept of machinery is completely foreign to Africa. Sentencing someone to work for a crime was the only form of slavery that existed in pre-colonial Africa.

Chattel slavery or the idea that another person or group of people should perform tumultuous, laborious, and degrading task without question is absurd. People went as far as recreating the American dream to make sure that certain people remained enslaved. There isn't another sect of history that can compare to degradation of the so-called african, the black american and the african-native american or the degradation of people solely because they posses a certain type of melanin.
Alot of people think Abe abolished slavery in its present form.
I would like to tell something about him to tell you how he felt. Abe lincoln tried to organize the U.S. Navy to ship all of the so-called black americans back to Africa. Which happens to be the dumbest thing anyone could ever say or do considering all dark-skinned people are NOT from africa. Abe's false"white pride" extended so far he went to all extremes to remove the real records of his mother. Many people believe he was a melungeon (african-native-and european).

For him to want to remove his own ancestors is proof that the lack of knowledge about the achievements of people of color existed even more back then. ....and it still does today. White pride is like "be proud we have a law allows you speak freely". He standardized slavery in the form of industry and now the world is suffering.

In the Law dictionary under the word servant/slave and master you find the words replaced with employee and employer whom which pay you in a 'note' that is designed to be a instrument of debt.
Which means your labor is compensated for a note that has literally the opposite of value. Which means again that you are worse than a slave, at least the got payed nothing. You are receiving something that has negative value.
I stated in my earlier post one should be thankful for the tree not the fruit it bears. What I mean is, if there is something worth being proud of is our ancestors for inventing sciences like alchemy, geometry, the concept of zero and infinite, advanced medicine and music(the mastery of vibrations). Those are elements all native to the ancient so-called africans every day life. Those aren't external things or subjects like they are viewed in europe. Nothing civilized you know of today could not exist with out those elements. So, so-called whites can be proud of those latter material things, but even those would not exist with out certain elements. Whites being the last adaptation to occur which makes them the last addition to the human family and relatively young considering europe was under ice while thriving civilizations flourished. So I guess, whites should be proud to be able to contribute to a legacy thats greater their ego.

This is a rather typical confused argument ...

I am white and I do celebrate my Greek heritage and culture like many folks honor theirs, and there's obviously nothing really wrong with that other than the fact that hopefully one day we can all get past arbitrary lines on maps. Same goes for faiths as most flocks celebrate their religion on a regular basis.

The only reason, if any, to celebrate one's heritage relative to skin tone is if said skin tone has been historically used as a vehicle of oppression such as in the case of African Americans or Native Americans. As in recent history it has been folks of pink skin that have been doing most of the oppression there's no reason to 'celebrate' being white for being white, unless of course one wishes to celebrate oppression. Pride is relevant only as a remedy for having said pride being taken away as a means to subjugate. Not some perceived wrong that lot of 'white pride' folks declare, blaming others for their own condition, but actual subjugation.

Like I said, hopefully one day none of these egoic abstractions will be necessary.
