Go read about USSR's collapse.
I don't think you get it.
Do you know how a coup works?
How divide and conquer works?
Do you know how a proxy war works?
Once US collapses, it is not about US military being able to defend itself, it is about internal power struggle, between different corporations, and different ideologies, which China can easily use to completely destroy US.
It is a nice thing to see some optimism pop up. Star on that.
Unlike the USSR, the US also has massive infrastructure, especially industrial, that would be revitalized during a collapse. Manufacturing would become cheaper in the US than importing from Asia. Everything outsourced would come home. Then there are resources. The 213 billion tons of oil shale in the Green River Formation will provide the fuel literally and economically for an empire unlike the world has ever seen. If we go down we will drag the rest of the world with us and when we get back up, the world's epithets about America being like Nazis won't be exaggerations anymore.

Your the one claiming we managed to kill north korean citizens and it wasn't north koreas fault, nope it was ours.
.
Defense Minister Kim Tae-young was grilled by lawmakers who said the government should have taken quicker and stronger retaliatory measures against the North's provocation.
"I am sorry that the government has not carried out ruthless bombing through jet fighters during the North's second round of shelling," said Kim Jang-soo, a lawmaker of ruling Grand National Party and a former defense minister.

US companies also abandoning dollar.
What on earth is going on
Caterpillar, the US-based manufacturer of earth-moving equipment, is marketing a two-year 1 billion renminbi bond to institutional investors in Hong Kong, becoming the first foreign industrial multinational to issue debt in the Chinese currency.

We want to create a conflict.
We promise our support to SK. We also help on negotiating arms deals in preparation for a war.
We have already agreed on a joint military exercise, so our troops are nearby.
We plan a side op where our fire hits NK territory, or territorial waters.
We want NK to return fire and make it look like they started.
We now have an excuse to shoot back.
Sounds familiar?edit on 24-11-2010 by illvminati because: headline

Why is your post here allowed to stand when it has NOTHING to do with the topic, yet topic hounds are cracking down on others?
WHAT HAS YOUR POST GOT TO DO WITH KOREAN BOMBS OOZI???
Gem? Wanna explain that?
blah
The people inside North Korea are interested in sneaking any bit of food they can into their mouths, that is their biggest worry. The Chinese sealed their border with NK years ago to stop the influx of starving people. I saw a Nat. Geographic documentary a few years back showing kids scrambling in mud for crumbs that fell off of a cracker that someone was eating.

this is just a theory of mine
but if NK attacks that Naval Exercise
in the Yellow Sea, you can bet the bank
that Israel will take advantage of the chaos
and bomb Iran's nuke sites. Thus we have
a 2-front battle going on. Thus sides are chosen
similar to this:
Allies:
US
South Korea
Japan
Israel
Saudi Arabia
Turkey
Iraq
Afghanistan
Taiwan
Britain
Axis:
North Korea
China
Russia
Cambodia
Pakistan
Iran
Lebanon
Jordan
Syria
Egypt
then u will have a split of allegiances
among the EU which could dissolve
the EU and the Euro crashes when the
US Dollar crashes.
This will be the measuring stick for Obama's presidency.
