This is yet another reason that I do not use these intrusive sites such as Facebook, MySpace, etc.

I guess I could delete my account, but you can't really delete your account on facebook. You can just sign right back in and start where you left off. Oh well. lol

My mate got banned too, but that was for posting cake farts and some vomit porn to his profile.

What the hell is a 'cake fart'?????? I get the vomit porn though.

Thank you! Thank you. This is exactly what I was searching for. I don't know how or why, but when I looked for how to permanently delete my account, I couldn't find it for about a year. I remember how to do it was leaked last year or the year before. One of my friends did it, then the method was disabled. Everyone talk about 1984- the irony is that people willfully sign up for it!

Let me know if that works like it should. I had bookmarked that page with the intention of going back & deleting my FB account. I never got around to it, but if it works for you I'm going to kill it...Good riddance!

So it appeared to work, I'm now in the 14 day waiting period. I'm still surprised that I didn't find that wikihow article before, as I searched for how to do it...

Also, it seems like there is a way to do it without copying the url and pasting it, but facebook definitely makes it hard to discover.
