You do know that the Onion is a satirical news source right? I can only think you are posting this as a joke. You should see this article:

LOL, this is truly one of the most pathetic posts I have ever read in my life. Okay so let me get this straight, a big time liberal Obama administration insider with possibly the biggest story of the last ten years, goes to Ulsterman, a completely unknown hack of a writer who writes for a completely unknown "news" HA! organization with a clear bent right wing anti-Obama conspiracy theory agenda, instead of someone with credibility like, oh, say Seymour Hersh or Bob Herbert. Not only that, but this "liberal" insider says that there is an extreme leftist element (that is right wing language that no self respecting liberal would use) that has infiltrated the Dems, when the Dem legislative record has clearly sided with corporations and the banks and has done everything to quash even a left of center agenda (public option, repeal DADT, prosecute bankers, etc.) Not only that, but he does so in dialogue that is so obviously contrived to sound sexy and filled with intrigue. LOL! Wow, our Republic IS truly doomed if we have people who actually believe this drivel.

People will believe anything, if they're scared. white america is scared of having a black president, that's what's really behind all the accusations, all the BS. I have to say this, as a black american: I've experienced plenty of racism in my life, but I did not know how deep it went, not truly, until Obama was elected. This has nothing to do with his policies; I disagree with a lot of his calls. This is about having a black man with power, and white america being scared, unnerved, uncomfortable, irritated by it. Black folks have seen this in microcosm in countless personal situations, socially, at work, etc, but here we get to see it in macrocosm, big stage, same thing. The racism has gotten nasty, and if the GOP wins big, as I'm sure they will, america is going to a place that no one wants it to go. They will gin up whatever they can to get Obama out. if they can't impeach, they will cripple his agenda. If all else fails, they'll try to whack him. the only reason they haven't tried to, seriously, is that they weren't in a position to cover-up afterwards. Now, with(presumably) control of the house, maybe the senate, all the important committees, they can do what they want and never see the inside of a courtroom. just like GWB and the neocons did.

Is Obama corrupt? Yeah. EVERY politician is. From Republican child molester Mark Foley to Democrat sweet heart loan boy Barney Frank. You simps act like Obama was the first corrupt pol. It's sad. We know why you hate on Obama (race), and it's not his policies. People who call Obama a socialist have no idea what they are talking about. It is ABSURD to call Obama a socialist. On every single issue pertaining to the economy, Obama has sided with the big corporations. Yeah, real socialism. Even his healthcare bill is identical to the Republican's counter proposal in '94 and Republican Mitt Romney's Massachusetts plan. Not only that, he has protected the bankers every single step of the way and has a social security commission that is chock full of people who want to privatize it. Obama is a corporatist, not a socialist. LOL! I mean seriously, I respect classic Republicans like Dwight Eisenhower and Henry Cabot Lodge because they were rooted in actual reality and had basic integrity, but the Republican party of today has descended into a racist, angry white male, party of IGNORANCE. The Repubs are the No Nothings of the modern age, and calling Obama a socialist is proof that right wing has moved into cuckoo clock Lyndon Larouche territory. Anyways, I'm glad that the Republicans are going to win, because they are insane and will self immolate for 2012.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you. You know, I'm a libertarian liberal and I disagree with Obama on almost everything, but when I read this drivel, this utter garbage and see simps buy into it without even THINKING about it, it breaks my heart. Obama may be corrupt and I may disagree with him on everything, but in the end he is also a human being and a family man.

man i wish this was true i'd love to see them all go.

the thought of pelosi and obama fighting makes me exstatic

even if pelosi does take down obama as the speculation goes

i'd rather push her off the bridge right along with the rest of the left

i want them all taken down!

i hope this is true there isn't anything like a liberal catfight

edit on 1-11-2010 by neo96 because: (no reason given)

True that! Nothing has really been accomplished by congress in many many years. Just a lot of bull#ting and wasted time. The only thing I applaud Obama on is keeping the war going. Without the war...the economy would have tanked by now.

But...someone will say other wise and argue that the war is making it worse and yeah. Without it there would not be the jobs there is. Read that in your crystal ball.

Cant wait to have Obama out of office...hopefully we get someone in office who knows things about money, instead of someone who thinks it just buys you things.

I wouldn't say they're predictions. It's more or less a race to who can break news to the public. While many things are said behind closed doors that never go public, some things leak out and become the substance of major scandals prompting further investigation.

If there is a chance that this news isn't true, Pelosi would be bringing up charges against newsflavor.com for defamation and slander.

No litigation = the truth.

Well I hope you will understand that this is ATS. There are plenty of threads about some breaking truth from "100% accurate sources who have broken news first" such as Alex Jones, John Lear, Blossom Goodfellow or whatever it is, Sorcha Faal, Andrew Breitbart, Bill Cooper, Bob Lazaar, Art Bell, etc. I am sure you know that I can go on. So please understand why I might ask with a skeptical eye for a distillation of repeated claims of grandiose accuracy. I never would have asked had it not been posted once on each page.

You do realize that without the white vote, Obama never would have gotten in, right?
You do realize that it is his failed and pathetic policies that are bringing him down, right?
No? You don't realize that? Then that's just playing the race card where it doesn't belong.
How sad for you. What a slap in the face of REAL racism when it happens.
You do everyone of every race a disservice by crying wolf.

@dragonseeker

Can you tell me exactly what makes Obama black when he:
was not raised in the hood!
was raised by white grandparents!
*was born in Hawaii!
was raised in Indonesia!
hasn't worked a day in his life!
is a terrible athlete!

Contrary to what Obama want people to believe, he doesn't have a clue of the struggles of real black Americans had to endure since the Civil War. Neither of his parents ancestors were slaves. Neither one of them were denied an education.

Obama is using the color of his skin for his own personal gain and using the black vote to do it. He is about as much removed from the plight of the common black man as David Duke.

He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School magna cum laude, and you're telling me he hasn't worked a day in his life...?

Are you full of it, or what?

Excuse me but studying for an education and working for a living are not the same thing.
Are you suggesting Obama was getting paid while attending Harvard and Columbia?

Interesting theory but it's hard to believe Soros discovered him back then.

LOL. I speak on this subject, racism, from direct experience. I know the white vote carried him. I'm saying that the idea of a black president is one thing, but white america got a huge case of buyer's remorse, fueled by all these wacko theories which played to their base fears that were there all along. To ignore race as a factor is to ignore reality. race plays a role in everything in america. Everything. I did mention how I disagreed with him on a number of things. strong disagreements. But his policies are only part of the equation. the white power structure in DC was NEVER, I repeat, NEVER going to work with a black president. it's not in their interest to do so. Obama's biggest mistake was not realizing that from jumpstreet. From the beginning, when the chief justice "flubbed" the oath of office, until now, President Obama has been treated not like THE president, but a BLACK president, with much less respect. My god, Jon Stewart called him "Dude" on his show..He is not only president, but commander-in-chief of US armed forces. whether you like him, or not, agree with him, or not, when The President Of The United States walks into a room, you stand, and remain standing until he sits. you ask your questions, you engage, but you show that man and his office his due respect. Barack Obama has never gotten that, and his skin color is largely the reason why. I'm not playing the race card. #, it's glaringly obvious. I'm just stating it plainly.

Oh yes it's the same thing...

Besides, what are you talking about? He's made a living. He's worked as a community organizer and as a professor. Are you trying to tell me that it isn't making a living?

I still say you're an idiot for believing that graduating from one of the most prestigious law schools in the world with high honors is not hard work...

Semantics.
You call it work, I call it studying, so we agree to disagree and leave it at that
