I've had my own question about the Bible, and I have come to believe a certain way about this religion..

I feel "Christians" focus too much on the little details in the Bible that they forget the bigger picture. In fact, the small details is what divides Christians to become Baptists, Catholics, Mennonites, etc and then they all turn to each other and fight over who is right.

I have summed up that religion to make it easier for me...

1. God is far more complex then the human mind can ever imagine, and to even try to level with God is impossible. He isnt some man sitting up in the clouds looking down at us. God is the "source" of life, and is everything.

2. Why are certain actions considered sin? I feel those certain actions disrupt peace and harmony in society, and if avoided, you will live a happy and simple life. I am a father, and no matter what, I will always love and accept my child. So, I'm assuming "God's Love" is efinity times more for us, and since I would NEVER want to cast my child into some lake of fire, then God would NEVER do the same to us.

3. No matter what, we will always sin, and life isn't a test to prove you're better then others. Instead, life is a gift and a journey to learn and understand.

4. Hell isn't some lake of fire, and heaven isnt some gated community with gold streets and mansions. Instead, I feel heaven is complete love and connection with the universe. Hell is temp. disconnection where we can fight/understand how to become connected.

5. I believe Jesus existed, but have always wondered what he symbolized.. I feel Jesus only symbolizes our direct connection with God.

6. Science has proven that when you break down everything, past cells, past proteins, and even past protons and neutrons, then you find that everything is actually made up from energy/light. Life, in itself, is only an illusion of lights made up from energy, and that we are all connected together by energy. There is no seperation between us and the Earth. We are all on this ride together as one being. When we die, our energy continues on..


Forget all the little details.... Think BIGGER picture, and life will become so much more fulfilling, and simple.

i dont think you loose "points" if you chose the "wrong" God/whatevah, . being afraid all your life thinking "did i do it right this time?" only if you beleive in reincarnation >< but wtf xP

as for me i do not beleive in the biblical God who lives in the skies always in need of money
i do belive in something but cant describe what or who that is, nor does he do # for me.

so.. believe in God or not doesn't change any thing, do i believe.
