allen Keyes ran on he republican ticket two terms back and had a large mostly white following.He had my support fully.v It never has been about race unless you are a democrat.

We gave them the support ( I didn't vote for Bush) even though we knew the wars were based on lies.

Now we have Obama still trying to clean up the mess and all I see is criticism from everybody. Yes, I agree with the fact that not everything is a positive under the Obama administration but any way that you look at it its an improvement over the Bush administration.

Everybody acts all surprised at the wikileaks documents. We have nobody to blame but us. I have been overseas. I've seen the casualties.

It's our fault as Americans that we dont know what's going on out there. We're too busy worrying about who will be the next couple to get kicked out of dancing with the stars and Lohan's next court date to even think about the war crimes being committed out there.

America needs to wake the hell up!!! If we had paid attention for the past ten years to these wars as much attention as we paid to the last season of the Sopranos and Lost then maybe we wouldnt need wikileaks to point all this basic sh.. up!!!!

Anyway, back to Obama. Give the man a break. I personally dont think that he has had enough time to fix the mess that we were In when he took office. I mean seriously, we only know about the illegal wars. Can you guys even imagine the things that we dont even know about?

real simple answer to your question " nothing personal strictly business"....... Obama is the POTUS... so he better act like it or the "hate" can get far worse.... every POTUS is hated until after their presidency... people generally like Obama in the Us and are proud that they have an eloquent, svay and seemingly very professional acting president.... the fact that he represents "progress" and not change as his campaign championed is a big plus... but we are still mired in longstanding problems with foreign policy, abuse of power or general corruption, an ever decreasing quality of life, an unsure future, an education system that does not instill confidence, privacy concerns, health concerns, increasing taxes, an unfair playing field with the wealthy and etc.... Obama has 2 years and judging by his current actions he might yet go rogue and fix certain issues.... but for now he represents an authority that we all, as regular citizens/tax payers, wish we had, had direct access to or just plain have distrust for because of a lack of transparency... Obama is kool even after his racist comments

ive already had this discussion/argument before "wether its a race issue with obama" and my thoughts are as follows:

1) If race was indeed an issue then TPTB wud not have allowed him to be elected in the first place.
2) Refusing access to his REAL birth certificate that states that he was born in kenya and that his mother was under 19 so wasnt able to convey citenzenship herself according to the constution therefor he is in office ILLEGALY
3) He has QUADRUPLED the national debt since he has been in office
4) He has depression and alcohol issues that are getting in the way of him actually carrying out his "faux" presidential duties.
5) he has continually defiled the constitution
6) He has no interest "in the people" and has backed wall street, financiers, the banks while peoples homes were taken from them illegaly
7) He said he was going to bring our men out of afghanistan, but ended up sending 5000 more out!
8) he is just another warmonger just like bush, only he isnt so blatant about it, hes more sneaky, we got rid of war monger no 1 (bush) to replace him with another one!

these are the reason I feel obama isnt popular...not because of his skin colour

George W. Bush was a white man, and some people hated him so much they created the "Not My President" movement. People hated presidents Kennedy, Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley so much they actually assassinated them, these presidents were also white.

Hate a white guy, it's normal hate... Hate a black guy and it's racism?

maybe because Holywood has made some kind of statement that when there's a Black Presidents In movies, always revolve around the destrustion of the world?
