If anything bankers are more in league with republicans than democrats imo.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd ring a bell?
The Keating Five .... 4 democrats and 1 republican (RINO McCain)
The 'in league with bankers' thing is equally spread throughout the dems and republicans.

Why did you completely avoid my post?

You claimed the wars are illegal. Prove it.

It's more of the sickening Dem vs Rep crap that is plaguing our society. Instead of looking at real issues people just blame the other party...and it goes way beyond that to almost hatred. It's usually more hateful coming from the right than the left but don't for a minute think that if there was a republican pres that we wouldn't be overwhelmed with hatred for him as well. It just sickens me. It's so embaressing that I'm a registered independant.

Personally, I think that most of the hate on President Obama is a race issue.

Wrong, and I am disturbed whenever I hear that, especially when it is form members of the MSM. My black friends tell me that when all else fails "play the race card!" I am sure there are racist white people out there (though none so organized and mainstream as La Rasa, or even the NAACP). The personal attacks I have heard tend to me more directed at his political bent of being a socialist/communist and those questioning his loyalty to the US. What other president has gone so far as to legally seal their past (birth certificate / college records). And as mentioned, his lack of any real experience. And I'll add to that the perception that he is just a puppet of the banksters and the war machine. I could go on but you should get the point by now.
Do you find any racism in these particular issues?

Has he really done anything even close to destroying the United States as the Bush administration did?

I would say that he has done a bang up job in continuing the legacy of the Bush Admin. I suppose some were hoping for a little change.

We were led into two wars under the Bush administration based on lies. We knew they were lying during Bush's first term yet the man was re-elected for a second term. Seriously, who were the idiots there?

I wonder where the mass of war protesters have been for the past couple of years. From what I understand we have since expanded the wars.

I agree that the American populace complacency is obscene.

Anyway, back to Obama. Give the man a break. I personally dont think that he has had enough time to fix the mess that we were In when he took office. I mean seriously, we only know about the illegal wars. Can you guys even imagine the things that we dont even know about?

I think that anyone that blames Obama or expects Obama to fix our countries problems is naive to an extreme. The whole system is shot and needs a major overhaul. I see Obama serving the same masters that have been running this ship to ground for decades.

As I clearly stated, I don't agree with everything that's been done under the Obama administration. I just don't see everything as bad as the Bush administration. Maybe if people like you would have looked at the Bush admin with the same microscope that you're looking at the Obama admin then we wouldn't be in this position that we're currently in.

Maybe we should have gotten all the unemployed and made two work crews. One to destroy roads or make ditches then have the second crew come around and fix them. That would have given people jobs and then they would have pumped that money into the economy right?

1. Bush seemed like kind of a meathead but at least i felt like the actions he was taking he did so honestly and with good intent - he thought he was doing the right thing. I have this sinking feeling that Obama knows what hes doing and theres an ulterior motive.

2. If that was a serious sugestion, it wouldnt do anything because your scenario cancels itself out. You are paying 1 to 1. If you run a fruit stand and you buy apples from the farmer for $1 each then sell them for $1 each you arents doing anythig except wasting space. It could actually (with the way govt works) end up being you buying the apples for $1 each and then selling them for .25c

I believe they are actually still police actions. So the president doesnt need congress to declare war. Besides what would congress declare war on? We arent fighting Afghanistan. We are fighting ideas

Ok, maybe playing the race card was ignorant or childish, maybe both. But we all know the man is being looked under a different microscope.

Also, I think most of us are old enough to realize that most of Obama's "changes" won't really be seen till after his first term. Why are we so ignorant to believe that h3 actually has the power to change everything. The only reason Bush's admin was able to change so much was because all if the fear being pumped out to us.

If those changes were to be thrown at us under different circumstances none of them would have gone thru. And as for the economy being at its lowest? We were already being bankrupt under the bush admin!!!

Just correcting an obviously misinformed poster with an agenda.

Hating Obama over RACE, what race are you speaking about. Obama is 50% white,25% black and 25% arab.
People don't hate Obama because is is mostly WHITE. I quess that I need to hate white people, black people, and arab people. The Race card is a distraction from the real issues. Weak, Weak, Weak

Are you saying that Bush was a dummy and pushed to make decisions? Come on, you're even summer for thinkin that he was dumb. That guy is a genious. Look at old videos of Bush pumping out big words without messing any of them up and not stuttering. Look for videos of him running for governor in his younger days. Totally different man!!

Some would have a decent argument saying that Bush had a historic (good) presidency. On 9/11 terrorists attacked the vital economic infrastructure of our country. Shut down NYC for a few weeks and tell me what kind of fiscal impact it has. He kept the country's head above water and we havent seen a major attack since.

Obama has had greatness laid in his lap...he has shoved it off for vacations, media appearences and fundraising events.

Tell me why they weren't. We were sent under false pretense. Isn't that enough to call them illegal wars? Hell ask the soldiers themselves and I bet you wouldn't get a straight answer. Ask a general for that matter. We are there because we were told to be there.

So...using your logic Obama is a good president because hes a great orator? and Bush was bad because speaking in front of crowds wasnt his thing?

i don't hate obama at all.
in fact i've been nothing but disappointed.
as a white american at first i was very pleased america could vote in a black president.
the problem i have with him is that he basically has continued everything bush put into place.
not repealing the patriot act.
giving hls and other alphabet agencies more power against the american people.
doing basically nothing about the border issue.
expanding the wars and handing more power to the military contractors.
printing more and more money while giving china more and more power over our economy.
etc....etc........
it's never been a race issue for me.

Fact, unless I'm mistaken the OP started the topic on the notion of barack obama. G. W. Bush was not mentioned as even ancillary to the original topic.

Nope. We went under bad intel. All trusted sources of major international intel said there was danger and threat.

Ask the generals and theyll say they are routing out taliban extremists with their hands tied behind their back.

Ask the soldiers and theyll say serving their country.
