Wikileaks only discredits themselves further by Assange walking out of an interview after being asked a tough question.

It is not his personal life when no one was asking about his casual sex life, they were asking about his RAPE CHARGES. No one asked, hey hows your sex life assange?

When you only want to talk about someone elses RAPE CHARGES (The iraqi tortoure and rape charges) but don't want to talk about your own rape charges, makes you seem like a discredited shill.

He already discredited himself giving us the DOG FOOD (the iraqi war documents) Kept all the good stuff (the insurance files) He is no better then any government keeping all the good stuff a secret for themself.

When he runs with his tail between his legs after being asked about his OWN charges discredits him because he only wants to talk about everybody elses CHARGES. The Iraqi tortoure and rape charges are to be questioned but his own RAPE charges shall not be talked about?

Oh NO, he got asked a question and Assange couldn't take the heat then he ran.

If he can't answer a question when asked, then he really shouldn't be the one representing wikileaks or claiming charges in IRAQI rape. Assange should RESIGN NOW

I guess you have convinced me. So since he is a rapist (and I obviously take your word for it, because YOU would know of course) then anything done by wikipedia has to be untrue because everybody knows that rapists lie.
Thanks so much for your intelligent post. I will give you another star along with all your "friends" that gave you all those stars, wink wink

Assanges charges true or not really reflects bad on wikileaks. If he never thought that the
things he does wouldn't come back to haunt him well bad wishful thinking.

Assange only wants to talk about other peoples alleged crimes and doesn't want to talk about
his alleged crimes. Assange must really want wikileaks to look bad, walking out of an interview because he can't handle the truth about his alleged rapings.
It just shows me how CNN is no good and Assange is no good.

If Assange thinks we are going to believe his crap for a minute he is a fool.
If the GOVERNMENT thinks were going to believe them their fools.

Assange can't have everything his way he needs to learn to live with that.
Not everyone can get everything they want all the time. Then act like a baby when they don't get what they want. Thats not a man.

Because he couldn't handle an interview with a little objective questioning about his alleged rapes then
IMO Assange being an alleged rapist discredits wikileaks
All he had to do was speak his peace about his alleged RAPE CRIMES and go on.
He couldn't and he should resign.

PS. rickyrrr thanks for the extra star

You don't recognize sarcasm do you?

You do not know that he is a rapist. He was CHARGED which is not the same as indicted. You may want to learn the difference.

The timing of the charges was suspiciously convenient leading many to justifiably speculate that it was a smear campaign. Until you prove otherwise this suspicion stands.

That you are in a conspiracy site and are unable to entertain this suspicion raises some serious red flags for any reasonable person.

Just to be clear is this post directed at thecinic for repeatedly saying that Julian Assange is a rapist without proof or to me for stating my opinions about him for insistently making this statement?

Are you sure him walking out destroys his credibility? He asked her nicely not to be asked about the charges. He was under the impression that the interview was about the more important information wiki leaks just released. He did the right thing in walking out. So many deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they talk about his dropped rape charges. Whats more important? actual deaths in Iraq/Afghanistan, or a dropped rape charge?

And, with all respect due, may I ask you why you did not, at the same time, remind the obvious troll that has been derailing the thread day after day the following ATS mission statement :

The simple yet effective motto of our membership is "deny ignorance", which signifies an effort to apply the principals of critical thought and peer review to the provocative topics covered within. More than a slogan, our members have embraced the motto as our collective cultural standard, demanding all to aspire to a higher standard. These simple two words have galvanized a broad membership that spans the spectrum from highly speculative conspiracy writers to staunch doubters. The result is a unique collaboration of diverse individuals rallying under this simple statement to learn from each other, discover new truths, and imagine new ideas that expand our minds.

This motto has life. It has purpose. It demands ATS members to think.

It is a state of mind.

It is a sense of purpose.

It is a statement against the paradigm.

It is a rage against the mindless status-quo.

The idea of "deny ignorance" isn't a goal that ATS hopes to accomplish. Instead, it's a challenge. A call to all those who come here to aspire to a higher state of awareness through informed discussion and debate.

Deny ignorance is what we do.

It's how we think. It's how we talk. It's how we listen.

Ignorance is the social disease of history. Is the evil that men do, the reason history repeats, and the cause of intolerance.

We deny it. it's not welcome here. Within these boundaries, it has no strength.

Here, ignorance is denied.

Because see, the troll is constantly doing these things :

1) Repeating stuff he already has said and that has already been answered and or debunked.

2) Sometimes even going as far as copy/pasting his own answers (with same typos inside)

3) Baiting other members with the same nonsense.

4) Inventing stories and skewing numbers.

And the list goes on...

I read some of your posts on here, and your going bonkers in regards to his rape allegations. Which are just that, allegations,no court date, no charges pressed, just suspicion... speculation & nothing else, and your basing your idea on that... speculation yet the documents which wikileaks released are not hearsay, speculation, or anything in regards to that.... yet the reporter dug into his case. He said he didint want to talk about it. It has no RELEVANCE to wiki-leaks latest release. You completely miss the point of the interview which was to discredit him and you fell for it! I dont even know why i am wasting 3 minutes to reply to your trolling posts.

Assange derailed this thread when he walked out of the interview with a CNN journalist. We could of been talking FACTS.

Assange is the one who made wikileaks loose all credibility.

Assange has betrayed his followers by having RAPE accusations against him while crying RAPE.

Assange has made his decision to join the media blitz and further more

Assange has given us nothing but stories of his WALK OUT

Assange is not a man if he walks out on his team

Assange can't be the leader wikileaks needs.

Assange has commited his own act of treason by leaving his people left hung out to dry.

Assange is to blaim for the failure of wikileaks and his own personal walk out of a very important interview that could of changed the world

You seem to be more angry that he wont talk about his allegations rather than his information release.

why do you hold a grudge against him in a case that isnt even on the table anymore?

Julian Assange must have bigger gonads than his brain.

He can not believe he will live to be a old person after the leak of this information.

He has become an embarrassment to many high ranking politicians and entire governments .

This video is what he is and only now he is beginning to realize it.

News flash!

If the feds wanted Assange dead, he would have never lived long enough to see the first Iraq helicopter attack video released, nor would any of his associates, and wikileaks itself would have been long gone.

He has absolutely nothing to worry about.

What? Do you mean news buildings (like CNN, close to gov) are not good hideouts?

And on scheduled interviews, please.

I'm starting to think that it is the MEDIA that wants him dead.
I just saw an article on zdnet "Is Julian Assange Worse than Osama Bin Ladin?"

Is there ANYONE out there, besides me, in AMERICA, that feels like the manipulations of the media are so obvious, and so derailing to the CONTENT of the leaks, that they feel like they've surely entered the Twilight Zone?

Is it crazy to think that the feds know that they really don't have anything legally they could even charge him with so they are leaving him alone-or that being OUTSIDE of the US is keeping him safe - still I have not seen him come into the US.

I hope for his sake and safety he does not. I'd stay away from CNN in the future too. Something is really wrong with how this stuff is going down. I don't GET it. I don't mean to keep harping on it but I keep wondering if I have my THEY LIVE sunglasses are on.

It would be disappointing seeing so many people fall for this crap, but it is so far beyond that at this point, it has become comical.

You get what you deserve.

Don't say I didn't try to show you the truth, in this and other threads here.

Killing Assange would cause nothing much. The Wikileaks principle will work without him.

It's like in the hacker / pirate / whatever_internet_underground_scene: there are always people succeeding to continue the job when someone gets removed.

But it would be a shame. He's a very skilled and smart feller ; )

When the interview that could change the world is with and about you, it's the interviewers fault if you walk out. He didn't go there to walk out, she dropped the ball. Get over it.
