OMG Ektar....that last video shows the leak is way worse than yesterday! Thank you so much for "doing the night shift" while I am at work.....you know yesterday it got wild around that well for a while. I posted some video of it. I was actually getting scared because the was a big plume of gas and oil coming from the ground next to the well....did you see it in the video I posted? Those white things were everywhere (those odd white things that turn black and dissolve).....the ROV finally left the area it got so rough.

BK....the ROV is looking at the sea floor right now so if I see the popping I will catch it and post it.

I have video from Last night & this morning...still uploading which takes FOREVER!
One of them has a good size crater.

Pop Photos taken in series...can see the changes in the sea floor...I call it
the Pop Series because the pressure builds into these small bumps or mounds,
it finally pops or ruptures, leaves a small concave area or crater, then it refills, & starts over.

Excellent Ektar!!! Perfect example! I caught one boomer this morning, and I'm watching for more....if it happens again, I'll get it....

Here is the very end of the eruption this morning....see those objects at the end connected by chains? They zoomed in on those just before the boom, then immediatly after the boom...anyone know what they are?

Those things at the end are weird...will have to look at them again. I have to go do errands
and work my dogs...I'm downloading 3 videos at a time, so at least I'll have a few ready
to post when I get back...This morning I had to weed through 30 + I shot last night...LOL!
Hard to find footage, depending on the time of day. Realty wasn't showing anything last night
so I had to jump between pages...

Well...if this is true then we are screwed

Interesting......apparently, this wellhead connector that is now leaking, has been a concern for quite some time and has leaked before.

Is anyone else having problems getting to reality check? Anyone know of another good site for feeds?

Ektar, I have to examine the video more carefully. Yes these are "pot holes" and they are due to "gas bubbles" popping up from escaping gas. But whether they are continually popping up or was the camera in and out of focus - we have to determine that first.

BTW what is that buried pipe or hose doing there? Was it part of the grouting setup?

What IS this? I caught it before work today and just got it uploaded. This is only 354 feet down! It gets worse....I have a second video that shows when it gets super violent....those red things fly by so fast in the second video they are a blur. The strange thing is, when the ROV pulled back, this disturbed area was like a big circular area.....the ROV went into the stormy part, and came back out of it and the water was completely normal (but you could still see the "storm" at the edge of the screen) It has been going on for over an hour and a half. I'll post the other video when I get home in the morning. Let me know what you think it is....I am baffled. Oh...watch the bottom right hand corner, and you can see a red hue show up like it is the origin of the red balls..

Kat, I've been watching this for over 2 hours. Its gotten really violent at times. I wish they would at the least tell the public what they are doing down there.I thought the Macondo well was plugged and dead. apparently not.

Great Video!
I found something kind of interesting at 1:46 in the video. I took a snap shot & provided it below...
It seems strange to see a symetrical row of a parallel string of lights rise up on the Left & Right
side being displayed as if it is part of the blow out...maybe it is? Same number of lights on each side & appears to be equal distance from the middle to the outer margin...weird!
Maybe it a video marker or counter marker of some kind...
I don't know how I caught it, guess by fluke... it was very quick & out of there...
They were moving at the same speed as the bow out material.

I'm not sure where the buried pipe came from...I'm working on re posting the photos with added markings to show landmarks that stay the same through out the series as well as marking the changes better...
It's time consuming so it will take a bit...I clearly remember taking the photos...I took at least 17 shots from 9:02am EST - 9:21am EST...so you can see that the photos are very close time wise...I will post time with each photo in the next round.

I'm also working on a well head series for you from May up to now & many include locations...

I am really worried now....this morning I woke up to THIS. It must be the source of the blob storm last night. Did that pipe blow? Am I seeing things are is something gushing in the center of the pic? Those white things seem to be connected to whatever is happening. The red things flying by last night looks just like them, only red. They are the same things we saw go from white to black and dissolve. They are EVERYWHERE now.

What is this glowing stuff on the right? Those white things appear to be pieces breaking off of the glowing stuff.
