Is it me or are things getting harder and harder to follow on here? my BS meter has been going off non stop in here since about 2 months ago. i mean more so than usual. i posted this in general conspiracy because i believe this is being done on purpose to obfuscate the truth.

now these are the possibilities as i see it.

1. 100% of the things on here are delusions of deluded minds that feed on insecurities and mass hysteria. self fulfilling prophecies that the very same deluded draw attention to and proclaim as evidence or prophecy or insider leaked info.

2. 100% of the things being said and revealed on here is true from a relativistic point of view.

3. a little from both.

4. government disinfo to cloud the truth?

now i have noticed a marked rise in unusual activity on here with people making pretty bold claims like 20th of October being thrown around. ww3 and cosmic events down to stock market crashes. strange thing is out in the real world its business as usual. the US dollar continues its back and forth dance on the global markets. wars continue all over the world with the usual amount of coverage. nothing really that would indicate any real change. BUT like i said before the activity on here seems to be reflecting something that isnt portrayed in any aspect of day to day life. for me or anybody i know.

so my question i this.

Who is experiencing all these strange things thats supposed to be happening? apart from a few lucid dreams here and there i havent really noticed much in the way of of strange things. ok i might notice the odd 11:11 or 4:44 or 10:10 but thats probably because im looking for it. so either im missing something or most of the people on here are seeing something im not.

I had a dream that Phage was Meg Ryan....

Beyond that bizarre life moment, I agree... The ATS bizarre meter has been spiking lately.

I think it would help if they raised the age limit on here.

ok that is pretty strange. because i have always thought Meg Ryan was pretty hot in the 80's now all i can see is a picture of john lithgow. doh. but yeah glad to know im not alone in this feeling. about the bold claims on here not Meg Ryan.

to be honest i dont think that would do anything. only because age is no indication of intelligence or wisdom. as a young kid i would like to think i was just as logical as i am now with more experience to validate my logic. age it seems is no guarantee of anything. there are people on here in their 60's 70's and 80's who should know better but still perpetuate illogical thinking. in fact i find that older people are harder to convince they are wrong. they seem to think that the fact that they have avoided death fo so long affords them some respect. just for clarification im 33. so no spring chicken myself. but i dont think putting age restrictions on a site based on truth and knowledge will help its credibility. having said that the younger generation really isnt doing itself any favors.

Haven't noticed anything strange myself in the real world, apart from no one has any money yet everytime I go to the shop, there are hundreds of people, with hundreds of bags of designer stuff, electrical goods etc.

I think conspiracy theory and prophecy are both separately becoming more mainstream. It's sort of like a subversive pop culture mash up. 2012 hysteria is partly to blame.

Fudge 2012 that's what I say. FUDGE IT!

I wish there was some way to quarantine all of the 'Government sponsored' posters in one place....

no doubt.

i must say that is a valid point. if everybody is broke where is the money coming from to buy all this crap people are spending their money on? the major shopping centers here al always full. maybe thats why the australian economy is doing so well.

Nah, it's just our usual influx of GLP doomtards since ATS has been in the news over there recently. Most of them can't handle the rejection of insanity, so they go doomtarding right back to their hell pit. It will all pass.

Yeah I noticed the same thing.

No one seems to have any money, but the stores and restaurants are packed. No one seems to work anymore, but they all seem to have extra cash.

It's almost like they are getting paid under the table to keep thier mouths shut.

Is this evidence of sorts that something will happen in 2012, or that ... we are making it happen?

I'm not suggesting that by sheer thought we will make Nibiru appear but could the hysteria happen anyway. I remember the whole Millennium bug nonsense, planes falling from the sky and the rest. Will the hysteria grow and the panic create an event of it's own making?

Is this all a way of pushing us/ouirselves off the deep end?

agreed. i knew putting ATS on facebook was going to ruin this site. the level of intolerance and lack of critical thinking is akin to the comments left on you tube video's.

maybe im being too hard on the recent recruits but nobody can deny the quality of posts has dropped.

well there is that argument that the reason the posts on here are a little off center is because there really is something strange going on. the problem with this theory is that its all conjecture.

i have not and neither has anybody i know seen anything to convince us that anything strange is going on. NO imminent attack on iran or any other country. no alien invasion. nothing not even a stock market crash. the market was supposed to have crashed last year for christs sake and the US economy is still plugging along. so what gives?

Usually the BS comes from an overactive imagination and an incredible amount of free time.

I think if you read and research a topic you will be able to weed out what's credible from what's not. In a forum where we have a relatively unobstructed freedom of speech, there is bound to be more than one fantasy story.

obviously. the problem arises when one DOESN'T live in their parents guest bedroom and works 6 days a weeks 9 - 6 and come on here for some alternative news only to discover the world is ending in a week .... again. i dont have the time to sit here and sift through all the garbage to get to the meat and potatoes of the story. i usually look at what most other users are all in a huff over. but lately people seem obsessed with end of the world scenarios. personally i dont care either way what happens. im just sick of all the same things being rehashed every month.
