I am inlined to agree ..Qingling is part UNESCO wildlife Preseves..besides the rare Pandas , it has gazillions of rare and endangered reptiles, including snakes which are profitable to smuggle out...If they had an enclosed zoo and snakes escaped..well that could be a problem as their rattle snakes are extremely agressive..
It would rank as an international emergency/response , imo, just on that fact of its importance which we would have known fron the Get Go.on MSN

Yes sad the only portal is that. It should not matter whether we are skeptic or believer...we all want truth..based on facts...That will not change the outcome of what the story actually is if true as originally posted. But we can either guess foolishly..or guess intelligently. No one see what a black hole looks like..but we determine its presence, size, and force by what the surrounding elements. By now, if nuclear accident, our satellites would have shown such, including movement of specific types equipment, personnel, etc in the area., not to mention communication problems in presence of radiactive material ejected into the air.All we have is blue flash and people excited looking at it from far away at 400 am in the morning ready with camera. Lucky for us.
From our vantage point..all we can do is gather factual info of area..rather than us as foreigners imagine what it looks like..and what the reason alleged ufo was doing..
Someone speculating the Chinese doing something illegal....and the ETs punishing them....whatever it was they were doing..Meanwhile rest of world at war killing people, animals, children, environment..and they do nothing..very strange.
Strange punishment making people disappear and letting the snakes free..maybe they were relatives of the ETs..this is pure Fantasy..but we can play with the other scenarios without us getting upset among ourselves.

what i think is laughable is about 200 videos on youtube all giving that blue flash video as the `official video` which is ridiculous as its already been prooven to be a completly non related incident from a year or two back

i've been keeping up to date with the forums via google translate and there have been very few posts on the qinling event. A few people have posted hoax and there's been 1 new thread featuring that rather dodgy looking blue orb pic.

Skeptic? what else do you want me to believe. Do you want me to instantly believe the story without knowing what really is going on? You might work that way, but i don't. I got my wife to read the link, and she said its just rumours. Rumours is not evidence of someone going on.

This will soon be declared a hoax. I just cannot believe that the thread has been flagged over 100 times.

Not sure if this has been posted since I have not read the entire thread, but has anyone used Google Earth before and after pics to see if this is true.

That IMO would be the easiest way to tell.

I doubt it would work. What would you be looking for ? Small village, may be small huts or dwellings, did the village disappear or the people ?; if people, how many ? Any relative missing someone in the family ? Anyone connected with this village has reported a member of his/her family missing ?

It is about as meaningful as saying a remote , unknown and unreachable tribe in the amazon has disappeared.

As I said before, it is all 'chinese whispers' to me.
