For me to defend someone for saying what they think in a civil way, doesn't mean anything at all about what I think of their content.
How can you not grasp this?

No I said "no you are a load of crap" in response to him saying the prophecies were a "load of crap" meaning what he was saying was rubbish, and i proved it to be complete and utterly RUBBISH!

You got any more questions?

Notice that no one else is dragging it out and notice how the person has not replied? Just you rambling on and on? Makes me think its a 'sock' account and you are trying to defend yourself with another account. Anyways, this is my last reply concerning that.

Setoman, with regards to the MATERIAL ISSUES IN YOUR OP, what would your prophet advise, aside from prayer, meditation, reflection and rededication to Christian tenets, for the regular American to do to prepare for the disasters ahead?

Specifically, are there any "survival/preparedness" tasks or supplies that would be beneficial or that would ensure safety?

Should we perhaps move our savings into safer currencies? Invest in precious metals? Beans, bullets, bandaids? Leave the country?

Thanks in advance.

His advice was to get close to God because in the upcoming season the only people who will be safe are those who stay close to God. He also said invest in Gold and silver.

I had left this subject and moved on yesterday. I looked today and saw you still talking to me and asking me a question.
If you didn't want me to reply, you should have not continued to talk AT me and ask me questions, since you don't seem to like my answers anyway.

Now you resort to personal attacks because you have no ammunition to defend your argument otherwise.

I could claim just as well that you do not know what edification means and do not understand prophecy, but then we'd have resorted to childish name calling. And for the record, I know that the church is the body of believers, that's why I put it in quotes.

The fact of the matter is your friend is not a prophet, the Bible tells us so and even warns against false prophets because they are abundant, as is obvious by this thread and others.

Since we can't see eye to eye on doctrine, however, both making our points, we'll have to just agree that we disagree.

You're fooled into thinking that you're free yet your rationale is powerless to determine your own basic path entirely (and not just by simply physical limitations, but by imposed limitations!), but only when worried/stressed sheep turn to historical (and no longer in context) cycles for comfort regarding false and true shepherds are you vocally active? Don't you realize that most humans have been on "the short bus" the whole time? If you are so removed from such issues, why are you not offering compassion and direction to the weak? Please, do so.

See this is where I start to get a little pistoff,
This began as a thread of doom and prediction and when the doom and prediction gets questioned these enlightened ones such as yourself start with the insults and personal attacks because logic has failed,
YOU have no idea who I am or what I believe or how I act or treat others or myself but you'll lump me into your pathetic descriptive thought pot of weak sheep and blah hah cycles and limitations and expect that to just be okay and accepted.
It isnt.
The 'predictions' are ladened with fear and gloom and death and doom, and youre questioning MY compassion and spiritual integrity and growth?
The 'predictions' involve talk of a presidential assassination and you think that's not a hot button to be blabbing on about, on the internet, with word and phrase triggers in play?
The predictions sure dont offer much peace and love and good happiness stuff now do they?
The predictions dont even offer worth or exactness or a benefit, do they?
The "predictions" are made by some log in name faceless friend who talks to god,
Hey champ, my sister in law talks to god all the time, last thing he told her was that I had the ability to shoot lasers out of my eyes ! No joke, yep she has issues, she's getitin help, probably gonna need an entire lifetime of help.
So dont come here telling me that god is going to show up real soon and start poppin peoples corks and throwing the world into a tizzy and the flames of hell are licking at my backside and expect me to want to join the documentary crew and start filming the rabbits talking to eachother as the mothership hovers over the carrot patch.

Check out this thread, been there done that!

Hate to get involved in both of your arguments here but, just because someone tries to find out
if a prophecy is real or not does not make them false prophets. Those who call themselves
prophets and are not are "False Prophets". Just a clarification.

The problem, Mr. D, is that the Bible tells us there will not be any prophets who can tell the future and warn nations to repent for their sin or face certain punishments. The only prophets will be to edify and protect the church. They are classified as Old Testament prophets and New Testament prophets. So biblically speaking, until Revelation and the 2 witnesses, the Bible tells us there will not be any prophecies of the nature described in the Original Post.

The original poster disagrees with this biblical doctrine, so we are not going to debate it any further, both having elaborated on our points.

Its not a personal attack, Its true, many people, many Christians. Have no clue about the nature of prophecy or prophets. They are absolutely clueless, so they fabricate their own rule and regulations just like you did.
We have to rely on the rules and regulations that the Word of God sets, the difference between you and me is I have studied the Bible concerning prophecy and prophet, using the Greek and Hebrew and I know pretty well the nature of prophecy.

You can say my friend is not a prophet all you want, it won't change a thing. You don't even know him!

:Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7)
"when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him." (Jeremiah 28:9)

Where does it say that in the Bible? That is not scriptural NOT BIBLICAL. You also contradict yourself because prophet Agabus prophesied of a great famine in his nation and even other disciples prophesied the future. Thirdly this is not a warning for the nation to repent or face judgment, I'm just documenting prophecy. Fourthly, How in the world will you protect the Church if the prophets doesn't know the FUTURE and what is coming?

Do you even know what prophecy is? ITS FORETELLING THE FUTURE! The edification, comfort, exhortation is how the prophecy is brought forth. Open your bible get a concordance with Greek and Hebrews and start studying brother.

Now I am a little wary because he said invest in gold and silver. I would think God have us not trust in material riches at all.

I will give your friend time to prove himself because of Jesus. We know in part and we prophesy in part. I wouldn't call him a prophet, just yet, but he may have the gift of prophesy.

The definition of a false prophet, people, is someone who tries to turn you away from the Lord.

He may call Jesus Lord but when the antichrist comes will he call the antichrist Jesus? It is a very tricky situation.

Believe not every spirit but prove all things Setoman.

I've given you passages to support my viewpoint on everything we've discussed. Neither of us are persuaded bv one another, and all of our points have been presented and expounded upon for other readers of the thread thus there is no wisdom in continuing to post.

I did not make any attacks. I shed light on your actions certainly, I asked you to conduct yourself differently certainly, but I did not attack you. It was your attack that I was countering by communicating as clearly as possible.

I questioned you to expose the nature of your actions. I do not agree that the OP's "friend" has authority. Since Christ established more common communion with the Children, along with the Spirit of Christ, prophets no longer interface with the Fathers in the same way as the prophets before the communion. However, your conduct towards the people of the thread was an attack that I was rebuffing as lightly as possible and even hope for you to conduct yourself more against your animal-like tendencies than is evident currently.

Regarding your sister-in-law; I am sure she needs a little help. Would it be a personal attack to suggest that you should worry and critique less about how crazy she is and work more on establishing and sustaining a path of progress with her?

I wouldn't tell you such a thing. People cut themselves off by purposing their own direction apart from life. More so, it happens all the time. When people generally understand that "the end" already came, progress will be more common. And I don't mean "the end" entirely.

My words generally are strong, but almost never are intended to be attacks or divisive. Certain things may need to be divided, but Christ knits together and only divided for the sake of knitting together. So many things appear to be contrary simply because we cannot see the unseen independently, but even science has shown how the unseen fosters the seen rather than vice-versa.

It would be pointless If God revealed something and then not want us to take action or not give direction to safeguard us. For example, the prophet Agabus prophesied of a great famine that was coming to all of Rome. The Christians at Antioch responded by sending relief ahead of time to the Christians in Rome, everyone gave as much as they could. It would be pointless if they just sat there and do nothing.

This is same with this, there are alot of Christians with business and so on.
God reveals these things to the church so we can be prepared of what's coming ahead. Just like the Christians in Antioch and rome was prepared of the GREAT famine that was coming.

and yes we are commanded to test, and judge prophecies.
The bible even says: 1 John 4:1
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God"
