Your words are based in truth, but the semantics and details are slightly askew. The distinction has nothing to do with "new" or "old." While I expect that you know this, I also would like you to know that it is important to understand that the distinction lies in pre and post "pouring out of the Spirit." As Christ joined our realm from below in creation, and from above in His birth, the Spirit of the Word (Christ) also joins us from below and from above. This causes a different interfacing, certainly. Likewise, consider the concepts of two prophets and the revelation to be more fluid than you might expect.

I know of a friend who is a Prophet and he has said many things that has come to pass accurately.
and he said these things that shall shortly come to pass because the LORD God has spoken to him. The bible says "For the Lord God doeth nothing till he reveals it to his servants, the prophets." (Amos 3:7)

1) Assassination attempt on president Obama before the end of the year.

2) Obama will have a short-term presidency, this means less than 4 years, he won't finish his term and this will surprise many and leave them speechless.

3) There will be a death in America that will cause the people of america to RIOT!

4) God says "A GREAT Vigil will happen Before the end of the year." Many Tears, Many sad faces. (IN AMERICA)

6) Eventually Martial law will be decreed for a season in some cities, You will see military in the streets, cities under curfew or even police state imposition. (IN AMERICA)

Why does God speak to your "friend" in inaccurate King James English? Lay off the Bible, it would be much more believable if God spoke to your friend in a realistic and fitting manner. IF the events in the Bible, Qur'an or Torah actually took place, do you think God spoke to them in Old English?

Get a grip dude, kill the ego. That is one lesson you apparently have failed to take from the holy book of your choosing.

What good does any of this *prophecy do anyway? There is nothing specific enough to save lives. What is any of it worth, even if it is accurate?

Knowledge is simply part of understanding. Understanding is alive.

However, I don't stand opposed to you in this thread. I suppose I would not put myself past being wrong about my assessment of these prophecies regarding America, but I am convinced fully, at this time, that Life does not conduct itself in such a way in general. I am certain that Life has extended to within us in a much more "advanced" way, but is simply uncommon and covered in dirt. Like a seed.

I also dreamt I stood before the counsel of the UN and declared there would be a drought and famine after feeling I was not heard I repeated it louder then it was conveyed to me that it was not possible after a pause I stood and was overcome by a great strength and empowerment which strengthened me to say GOD told me to tell you there will be a drought and famine moving nation to nation like a great domino effect.

Another dream I had ( a year ago was when I had it) I was on property my husband and I were intent on buying and saw the Iranian Islamic faction overtake America and turn all into slaves and burden the USA with oppression and an angel came to me with a box resembling the ark of the covenant and opened it in my presence saying put this necklace on,
it was fashioned from 50 dogtags and all were cut in the shape of a cross meaning holy war and I was immediately in a state of repentance and after 3 and a half years past the angel came and with the box opened said for me to put the necklace back.

We will have 4 nukes one above the great lakes
one near east coastal area
one in the west coastal area around california
and one near the texas area
Canada also will become uninhabitable.

Regarding end times; The process of the seed, which is in us or not, is one which has it's own timing. While the decayed compost has it's own timing, and has been ready to receive the seed for a while, the event of sprouting is on a different clock.

What good will you imagine by "God (the path, the truth, the life)" while you wait to sprout?

We are trapped by our imaginations if we are prideful, but imaginations are tools or toys to practice being godly along with reason and gentleness unto manifestation. Some helps/tools are faith (understanding and/or graceful reason - related to "path"), hope (seeing beyond the seen and/or awareness of reality - related to truth), and charity (expressing understanding and/or proving graceful reason - related to life).

What do you do with your gift of understanding? What do you see in our world and what do you see it able to be? What do you manifest? What does your play time look like? Again; What do you manifest?

Order is so much more solid than Charity, but it is Charity that moves mountains, and it is faith that causes desire and hope that calls out. Order holds up our frames and Charity fills us, or we are not a temple of god, although Order does hold up all frames. Charity came to the dirt and communed and even the dirt lived to death to create new life.

The pieces for an end game have been set properly since Christ manifested in the flesh. Christ killed death to use as spiritual nutrients for the Tree of Life. So, whether the seed has taken root and sprouted, or whether it is simply maturing, it does not matter, the course of things is set and sure. In their death, the Children of God "fast-forward" to communion with God, but for those of us within time, if it so happens that we are alive during the appointment, we will see full communion manifest in this realm in some fashion, which is certainly described at length and in "code" by the visions of the revelation.

The dance has a design that is evident, even in it's mystery, even in it's call to patience and compassion, and timing/order.

Tha is untrue there is always room in the universe for change but it starts from the inside......and then takes on the outside.
In my dream I was shown a...... I suppose what appeared to me to be,
what I call the fabric of time events of terrorism flashed which brought on the chain reaction of natural disasters and other events as the threads which glowed were appearing in their perspective places and it wasn't until all of these events were completed that the true devastation would start,
and after all was done I heard a booming voice through the heavens as the heavens shook and the voice said it is done we cannot undo it for they (meaning the glowing time strands) are anchored by knots on either side (meaning the closing of all destructive events being done and finalizing the start of tribulation)

But really to be honest, we have all had some weird dreams. I mean most dreams are odd in some way...just because a booming voice figured prominently in yours and may have fit in with the brand of your religion, does that mean it was any more "real" than any other dream?

By the way, your glowing strands of time remind me a lot of the "Wheel of Time" series of fantasy books.
