You know, I believe that this is a real video and I believe the person who filmed this (which I believe is the above person ^^^^). I watched it this morning and I have been giving it some thought all day. Here is my thoughts and opinions as to why this is real:

1) I own an iPhone; so I know what iPhone videos and video formatting look like. Based on my knowledge, this video looks like it was filmed off an iPhone (it looks like lower graphics so I am going to assume it was filmed on the 3GS version).

2) It seems like most (not all) of the comments that I have read through so far are trying to discredit this guy because of what him and his friends were saying throughout the video.

I had totally fallen for this at first. Then I heard, "Dude are you gonna put this on your twitter?" and LOL'd.

The kids voices dont sound convincing to me at all, its calm and not at all hysterical, sound to me like porn actors, not quality porn actors but free internet porn, the type taking up all your bandwith.

Its perfectly black background, the colours are perfect, the movement is so smooth, it has CGI all over it. Thats the movement of a mouse or pen on a tablet.

Whats with the letter box view aswell, some kind of cropped video? And what happened at the end, why didnt he keep filming until it disappeared.

Fake!!

Those are just two out of many related comments. My point is: what this guy and his friends were saying while the video was being filmed was irrelevant. I would be dropping a few "wtfs" and "s-words" watching that too; I would be telling my friends that I would be putting the video up on YouTube and Twitter too! This was an unexplained phenomenon! I would WANT other people to see what I SAW.

3) The objects that were filmed in this video seem real. A few people keep saying that these were RC planes or helicopters that were being flown around; I say not. Judging by the distance that these objects were filmed at and the PHYSICS of these objects; it is impossible that these objects were RC planes or helicopters, an airplane, or any known flying aircraft to man.


With these three points in mind, I draw two simple conclusions:
First conclusion) These objects that were being filmed were a phenomenon and very well could be from outer space/the universe. They proved to defy the laws of physics by moving at incredible speeds and directions which in turn, makes this a UFO. Is it from Earth? We don't know. All we know is that we saw something that we cannot explain with our current knowledge.

Second conclusion) These objects that were being filmed were a phenomenon and very well could be from Earth or some military project that was being tested. They proved to defy the laws of physics by moving at incredible speeds and directions which in turn, makes this a UFO. Is it from Earth? Again, we don't know. All we know is that we saw something that we cannot explain with our current knowledge.

Now remember: a UFO does not mean something from outerspace or a spacecraft with aliens in it. It means:

–noun, plural UFO's, UFOs.
any unexplained moving object observed in the sky, esp. one assumed by some observers to be of extraterrestrial origin.

I myself am a believer in something grander out in space, but a UFO is assumed to be of extraterrestrial origin.


All in all; thank you to the person who filmed this. I am sorry that you are having to go through all of this pressure and criticism; but so much of the stuff that is posted here on ATS is faked or debunked, or CGIed so it is really hard to find something credible these days. Once again, thank you and good luck with your search for finding an answer to this!

I am glad to see you joined ATS! I hope you can find some answers to what you saw! If not, who knows, you might be able to find some answers as to what you believe you saw through some of the stuff that is posted here ons ATS. Your opinions change in life, so this might be something new and interesting to add into your beliefs!

Very well said my friend. Its very hard for anyone to dissect other peoples reactions and conversations. Im still leaning towards some kind of RC/LED kite theory untill we get some more video or further sightings and wtnesses.

Yes the first three videos in your post have been debunked. They are RC aircraft, and the people flying them were arrested by police. There is a video of them being arrested with their RC aircraft recorded by a witness on the ground who thought they were UFO's and then actually had the mindset to get closer and figure out what the objects really were.

As for the last video on your post... I haven't seen that yet.

Can anyone explain why this happened in two different cities on the same night?

I'm willing to bet it actually happened in more than two places. But since a lot of people may have realized what they were looking at, it was no big deal.

Saturday night would be a good time to get some night flying in.

Henceforth this being a phenomenon...

Personally, everyone is saying that there were other people flying RCs at the same time that this guy filmed these UFO and they put videos of them flying these up on YouTube. I don't believe that. These kids that filmed this saw something that provoked a human reaction of an unexplained knowledge. Nobody was there in that "moment" except them filming that craft. And what are the odds that somebody else on that night was flying RC crafts in the air that defy the laws of PHYSICS? Unless these "hoodlums" who were arrested by the police have some form of technology that defies physics that I am unaware of, then the RC story would be more believable to me...

However, I just don't think this event is authentic. While the submitter claims they are not "smart enough" to pull off a hoax like this, anyone wanting to pull off this type of hoax could make that type of statement to throw someone off track.

Flashlights? Doubt it. CGI? Possible. Co-conspirators? Perhaps. But I don't think we have enough information regarding this capture to make an educated determination.

The interpreted distance between the video device and the lights to me seems to suggest that the lights are too bright to be on an RC vehicle of any time. From my perception, the lights are a good mile away. And, it would take a pretty bright light source and huge power source to be on a small RC plane or helicopter.

well whatever it is flying around, is unexplained.

So we can pretty much believe what we want.

Yet since we do not have sherlock holmes on the case, par se,

let the finger pointing begin, on who is right or wrong..

Again I will turn to the lack of intelligence in our own understanding and language of communication, by the way primitive means like this will prob. be the only way to record UFO footage anyhow, but what do I know..

That can be taken into consideration, but in all reality; the guy who filmed this is a college guy who was hanging out with his friends. It was late at night, so I can only assume that being the typical college person, that they probably had a few drinks/beers while having a good time hanging out with each other.

I just don't see what they would have to gain by "creating" this video if it "was" a hoax. It is like a prank call; what is the point of making them? What do you gain personally that benefits you?

I just can't buy that this is a hoax.

Seem to be a bit of a contradiction, doesn't it? Can't really tell how far away the lights are but they look like they're a mile away?

I never insinuated that the kids who filmed this were the ones controlling the RC models!! In fact, i think quite the opposite! I believe the people who filmed this were having what they believed to be a genuine, weird experience! Once again, I am in no way accusing anyone of purposely hoaxing. Im still not 100% convinced either way yet, but hopefully we get some more info to go a long with this!

I didn't mean that you thought the kids were controlling the RC planes, in-fact, what you say about them seeing what they thought was an unexplainable event seems like it might be a logical explanation. But, we were not "there". So we don't really know what happened.

Despite the hilarity of the conversation in the video, I find it very plausible.
