I would like to second Kratos40s request for a thread on this . This account is beyond fascinating ,please I beg of you tell us more ! I v'e seen a few craft but nothing like this ! and this is the kind of account I have been praying for!

Mustang Island is more like 5 miles wide, he was parked at the south jetty (ship channel) according to the map. I know quite a few people who have slept in their car on the beach, myself included. I have no idea how he knew what was what (tankers & platforms) other than seeing them the next day. It is not uncommon to see 5-6 tankers lined up waiting to go thru the channel.

Thank you for clarifying (you lucky little devil!!). You said that you & your mom saw this, too. I'm assuming he meant out over the water & maybe partly over the island itself? Sends a chill up my spine!
I'm not doubting at all, just not happy to hear it, really. My first sighting was approx over the wharf/ channel (at the other end by the ferries) when I was a little kid. We were camped on the beach at about access 1A or a little west.

ETA: Thinking about what you said re the ship channel. Do you mean the jetties just south (?) of the ferries or the ones about midway to where 361 T's into SPID? Packery Channel isn't really a ship channel, but more of a land cut- or was. Last time I was there (a couple of years ago), it had filled in & I think they were going to leave it. I might be thinking about Fish Pass, which was also right there close.

The jetties near IB Magee park, termed the "south jetty"....I think my mom and I saw the "probe/decoy" - I remember seeing a red blinking light ON TOP of the whitish-blue light.

Seriously though, Texas? I'm not agreeing or disagreeing but the place seems to be a hive of activity at the moment, so I find it worthwhile to give this guy's sighting some credence. Maybe I'm just jealous. Been browsing the UFO sites - the following videos show either some interesting & possible ET lights or they raise the question just what the heck are people up to in Texas?

Well if the thing I've seen had been lower it would've been the same shape, I believe - and the witnesses account of it looking "old & mechanical" or what not is pretty poetic and nice even if it is just Texan codswallop

so its bringing great result on this case

the question now i have .. is why indeed would they bring this huge ship so low in the atmosphere
it take great amount of power to have a ship that low on earth ...
and what would be the reasons for it to be there
this is not the only article concerning huge ship of more then a miles long
those sightings have been increasing ... and they all have a similarity ...

i smell a preparation is under way
and its being very well hidden
a few lucky can witness some part of the preparations
there is a countdown somewhere .. i have no doubt about that

the question is now .. when is this countdown finishing ?
the 13th october ?? or the famous 2012 date ??
we have to discover the real plan before its to late
if its something good .. then we will let it happen

once we saw one ... we see things differently
but mine was a small one .. i cannot imagine seeing what you saw
im sure many regret that they didnt bring a better video camera when you see something like that lol

This is 2010, why the hell does this guy not have a camera on his person or around him. I guess i would like to think that i am ready to snap a ufo picture but when the time presents itself i am sure that id fumble around

The article starts off saying it's his 4th sighting in a couple of months. Either they are really interested in him, or he has no idea what he's seeing and mistaking for a UFO. My bet is the latter.

A mile long, and others didn't see or photograph this? Air Force send up intercepts? etc.? Have to call BS on that one.

UFOs that aare about one-mile across have been reported before, but they are rare. This is one of the recent ones I've heard of, from a witness who is 100% credible--an airline pilot.

Of course, much larger ones have been seen up in space, but maybe there's a certain size limit to UFOs flying in the earth's atmosphere.

So there are two only witnesses to over a mile long UFO. It was 2:30 am and they'd been driving all night.

But really i once saw a huge circle cloud thing as i was coming home (i was a huge alien fan) and it looked like this massive mothership, i felt strange as if it took someones a very long time to make, i went home feeling weird.

Then i completely stopped believeing in UFO's and alien encounters, they have logical explations, clouds planes, nothing to get excited over, this type of magical thinking has been around for far too long, and is becoming out of control.

Most of you are nuts, or thinking really hopful here. Aliens will not come and save you, there is no free ride, we will die off and be replaced by our desendants, nothing more. and if these desendants decsided to vist us from the future, then it is nothing special, nothing to get excited for.

You will not fly a spaceship, not be an alien, or never get to say "beam me up scotty" you will get to do none of those things, cease your wishful thinking, and die like the neaderthuls, so that our desendants might actully be able to have such a future, execpt its not aliens giving us a free ride, and its not free, it will be of our design, to the stars, as we figure out life is much like microbs and cells
