God has no limits.

Can God make a rock so big that he can't lift it? If he can make the rock than he has limits, if he can't make the rock than he has limits.

So if Jesus's spirit is the Holy Spirit WHY does Jesus say that the Holy Spirit will arrive only AFTER he is gone in the Gospels? Jesus talks about the "one who will come after him" and this is often interpreted as the Holy Spirit... so if the Spirit was already within him why does he say it will only arrive after? And why is the Spirit not identified as Jesus's spirit in the new testament? In fact why is the Trinity itself only accepted centuries AFTER Jesus's death as an official church policy?

How do you follow in the way of something you never heard of? And what of the babies and infants who died in the flood. So Noah can build an ark to carry two of every animal but he doesn't have time to collect infants and babies? God can't hold off on Flooding the Earth in order to save the babies? God's wrath is so great that they all deserve to be drowned horrifically, he couldn't have sent Jesus prior to the Flood?

There is no such thing as "Satan".
And Jesus (though the figure had some really great ideas) is not a god.
The death and resurrection aspect is a recreation of the Osiris-Horus mythos.

Uhhh? What Bible have you been reading? No where in the Bible have I read that. I recall Jesus saying he is the truth and no one comes to the father before him.

noah never heard of god, but god told him to build an ark, so how can he follow gods way when he was to busy building a boat with only "1" window in it

Man do I love knowing the Bible better than Christians

John 16 starting with verse 5. Jesus mentions he is going back to God and that if he doesn't leave the Counselor will not come... John 16:12-15

12"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

The bible is a man made social tool to help keep really stupid and crazy people under control... to bad it rarely works well.

i don't personally think there is a conspiracy to destroy the bible, faith is faith and people will belive in whatever they wish to, i myself am a athiest (in the sense i do not belive in god that is taugh by book's) and think that reson is becoming a bigger factor in belife, science is a great example of this, you wouldn't belive u had a finger print unless u seen it, you wouldn't belive in DNA unless there was proof. i think people now-a-days just want some reason and proof in what they are being told is true, i do not think this is alot to ask, we are lied to by our government about so many topical thing's, so maybe people will want some physical proof of the thing's diffrent people are teaching. you wouldn't read a headline in a paper and belive it to be true as this is one person's perspective, the same as it happen's in religious text. there is no conspiracy, people just want reason, truth and proof

One thing I will never understand is the irrational Persecution Complex inherent in the Christian Majority in the United States.

If I may posit a rhetorical question:

Why would any group devote the time and resources to destroy the Bible when the devotees of that book are doing a good enough job of it all on their own?

Although there may be outspoken critics against Christianity and the Bible, I seriously doubt there is a coordinated conspiracy against them. The only conspiracy against the Bible (or Christianity for that matter) can be uncovered in the reflection of a mirror!

The verse Luke 4:23 "Physician, heal thyself!" might be some sagacious advice if one feels that Christianity and the Bible is no longer universally revered.

Not to be an eternal optimist... But to answer the headline.. I sure as hell hope there is..
