A real shame Bill Hicks is no more as he would have been absolutely perfect.

I nominate Phage. I would love to see the look on his face when first contact is made.

michio kaku would be my first choice. his intelligence and open minded approach to science would be a asset when dealing with a species of intelligent life we know nothing about. mkaku.org...

Finally !! A question posed worth attempting an answer to.

Someone mentioned Bill Hicks. What a hilarious and FANTASTIC person for this role. However, he can be too melodramatic and negative at times.

I would live to see someone in this fantasy list. Fantasy because some are now physically dead and unreal. I must say the absolute worst person would be someone in current gov't or by FAR the worst would be someone in a powerful role in secular religion...any of them.

1) Maharishi - he understands the physical and spiritual aspects of reality. Anyone who studies UFO lore will quickly come upon the realization that much of the material is spiritual in nature. This is actually the most fascinating part of the research for me. Evolution is not just a physical event, it is actually 'spirit' which evolves and the physical vehicles evolve as a natural result. Who would better fit this role?

2) The Dalai Lama - for many of the same reasons above yet he is still physically alive.

3) JFK - I believe he was on the right track and still wonder how much this world would have changed had he lived to see his dreams fulfilled.

4) Abraham Lincoln - possibly our greatest president. Stood for equality or at least human rights. This is a voice we would need in these circumstances. How many would fear, prejudice, and hate the 'aliens' simply because they are not US (Gods chosen).

5) Ambassador Spock - Why not shoot for the moon. Half human half alien he would be the best person bar none being from both worlds. Logic and understanding with strict moral ethical code. Non-secular religion.

I forgot to mention....any remote viewing students out there? .....Ed Dames's first student Dr. Courtney Brown believe that we already have human ambassador relations...Guess who he believes is currently filling that role..... Buddha. No Joke.

I think Robin Williams because he was Mork from Ork and knows a lot about aliens. Also, if they don't speak english he can pantamine with them.

Second choice is William Shatner, Capt. Kirk. He knows a lot about space travel and could bring his friend Spock.

You know what send them all! And send me too, and other person who said pick me.

or

Old Native Canadian/American Indian Chief, Their old ways are pure and sacred of the life we used to live before the settling of Europeans or formation of America. and the colorful headdresses might get sold for space money!!

Hmmm myself... All I'm going to tell them " WTF You doing on this fuked up planet, Trusttt meee, just go home, Dont even waste your time, Can you take me with you please tho?" Well unless they remove all of those whos making this world one fuked up place to live in and limited us from our knowledge and freedoms.

And that'll be the end of the story here.

That dog is amazing. Dances better than the man. I wonder how he taught that dog to do all that and how long did it take?

I also go with Michio Kaku.
Smart, personable and a good representative for sane humans,
definitely no celebrities, military types or religious.

Cool!

I must say a very interesting post!!

I think it would take a delegation of people...,,,,,,,,,,,

I know or think I know???..
It would be hard to have just 1 person to meet the new race of species...as a spokesman,,cheif of staff,,,

Our species/mankind is to divided so it would have to be ""friends and foes""((together)) who would have to make a delegation,,,,??

I beleive the ET;s as well know it would be up against alot of political/religeous problems to make contact with us???

Wish I could sputter more on this but its real deep in thought..

high-5

Well, the first contact is probably not going to be the Greys, since they are the least human of the local sentient civilizations. I can't substantiate it, but if any of this unsubstantiated mythology is trustworthy, I'd say the first visitors will be people a lot more like us, and I'd like to be the first contact myself, please.
