The truth is complex : but USA , and Occidental societies / cultures should be a model, with a lot less errors.

1) The american dream died : look at your country and 40 million people living with tickets : YOU NEED A RESSOURCE BASED ECONOMY.

I'm not directing this comment at anyone in this thread, but why do people actually think Ahmadinejad is any more credibility than anyone else speaking on this issue? He doesn't know anything more than anyone else, being a world leader doesn't make your words any truer. I personally don't know who is responsible for 9/11, but I do know that I wouldn't want Ahmadinejad as a spokesman for the theory I accept.I really don't understand how anyone can respect this man or try to claim that his "bad rap" is due to some propagandist campaign to smear his good name. I have also read viewpoints on this site that look at the Iranian revolution as if it were a good thing, I don't get it. Please explain to me how Ayatollah, the fundamental extremest, is better than the Shah. I'm not saying the Shah didn't have his faults but if he wasn't overthrown Iran would be a much better place today and there's no way anybody can convince me otherwise. Sorry for going a bit off topic there.

I think the corporate media censoring and denying the American people their right to come to their OWN conclusions and opinion is the overall issue rather then the overall message in Prez A's speech. I mean, sh!t, they didnt even let the man finish his point! Whether he's a total moron or not, he should be heard and let the American people judge the man.

This picture pretty much sums up what happened during Ahmadinead's speech. The decorum displayed by the US and Israel (and any other countries that followed) is abhorrent. I find it funny that FOX News didn't even try to lie about it but instead deterred attention away from it. When a news station based on lies can't stomach the courage to lie about 9/11, you know that something is up.

I love the way they attack Ahmadinejad him over his comments about CAPITALISM destroying the world.....

... then follow up with a story about how the foreclosure crisis fix, is full of corruption and backroom dealings.

The presenter realised it the second he finished reading, how much of a hypocritical comment he was forced to say from his earpiece.

Any person who isnt solid in the head could see that A's point was proven about the propaganda machine after his speech was cut off.

For fuk sake! Can the American people just listen to the friggin speech, make THEIR own conclusions, WITHOUT media figure heads trying to manipulate their ideas and opinions onto the people!!??

THIS is exactly why the mainstream media is dying and going broke. The American people are sick of the bias and manipulation.

I noticed as soon as Prez A mentioned "zionists" they cut him off immediately.... go figure.

Lol. Yes, they can. It's just that they aren't allowed to! You know in Zionist Communist controlled US, the proletariat is only allowed to hear the party line.

And it's dangerous for the prols to hear any other news, because if they hear the other news they become dissidents - and we all know that's not allowed under communism, we all know it's dangerous.

Lol, so much for Obama wanting to enter into dialogue.

Sub text = we will enter into dialogue as long as you say what we want to hear.

Oh...dear.

The Walsh bloke, was taking a stance of rubbishing the speech, but inadvertently provided a very real and very plausible reason for the whole shooting match.

I can imagine the controllers in the booth, saying "What the...! Shut this stupid *!%* the hell up, he's going to run his mouth off and give the public the whole freakin' story! Cut to the next topic...CUT TO THE NEXT TOPIC..NOW!

Oops.

His credibility may be less significant than that the controllers chose to cut him off. It is also curious that he was able to suggest that "some segments within the US government orchestrated the attack" but it was not until he said "...in order to save the zionist regime" that the announcer cut in.

I'm not sure of the point of this thread. I was in the UK during the speech and BBC and CNN Europe were both carrying it and I believe both broke away from his comments and started focusing on the US delegation walking out.

Are you sure that wasnt a recap and analysis by Shepard Smith and the guy? The time stamp for Sherpard Smith is around 4pm +/- Eastern time. I thought the Iranian President addressed the UN earlier that morning.

UN Itinerary for Sept 24th
According to their Itinerary speakers had the floor from 8:30 am till around 12:30 pm.

BBC news covers the walkout 2 02:17pm EST
Obama leads new UN pressure on Sudan over votes

This yahoo article half way down talks about the Iranian Presidents speech to the UN and about the delegates walking out. The Yahoo news article is time stamped just after noon Eastern Time.

While I know most people in these forums hate the US for whatever reason, could we at least agree that if you are going to post something to make a claim about censorship, at least portray it in the correct context. They were doing a post speech analysis.

Funny how people will go off on a news oranization about how they report the news, then turn around and do exactly the same thing. I find it funny that people will comment in other threads saying Fox News doesnt do a good job on delivering the facts, or being truthful in their reporting. If you guys argue that people need to wake up and thnk for themselves, how come no one who commented followed their own advice?

A video gets posted, a snippet of Studio Bm and without even checking into it, people developed the mob mentality and jumped on the band wagon.

Ironic

So lets see.. People are talking about how the MSM lies to the people, yet you are using a clip from the MSM to justify your points. Secondly, as I pointed out and supported, the video clip in this forum is a post speech analysis from Studio B with Sheppard Smith. At the very end of the clip you can hear them move on to a different topic to review.

Even with all of this info provided, people ignore it and continue to take it as the OP potrayed it, even though its wrong.

Hmmm.. ok You guys are doing exactly the same thing that you are accusing the media of doing. As I said I have no issues with people holding the Government accountible and questioning it. I do take exception when there is nothing to support the attack aside from an edited video clip that is being protrayed as something its not.

The one person who responded to my post ignored the info and talked about why we didnt stick around and listen to the speech... Again, ignoring the facts and moving the story to where you want it to continue the attack.

You cant claim the moral high ground when you are guilty of the same thing you are accusing the government of.

MSM caught red handed performing censorship and America still did not wake up. Even if its Kim Jung Il talking, at least do not abruptly interrupt the flow! Fade out the voice then interrupt or do "whatever necessary" !

Surely somebody phone in the order and the guy at conti room had to jump in, Jim Walsh bla bla bla and guess what, the presenter "I dont understand any of that" @ 2.23 .

Really shameful and cunning mass media you have there America and its big!

The Big Red Fox jump over the dog and the dog just watch ?

I'm inclined to agree that this is an issue. However, the American people are free to listen to his speech and anyone with access to a computer (that would be everyone as almost all public libraries have them) can go to youtube and watch the speech in its entirety. I will concede that it is possible that his speech wasn't aired in its entirety on any msm outlets, I say possible because I don't know as I don't have cable. The scarcity of coverage is perhaps an issue, but I doubt that it has more to do with controlling the content people see than it does ratings. Sadly, most Americans simply aren't interested in watching someone speak at a podium for a half hour, no matter how important the discussion is. If the there was some sinister plot to keep Americans from listening to him and making their own opinions on his speech than it wouldn't be accessible at all. The real issue is the indifference many people feel to what is going on in the world.

nice post,

i worked with a guy from iran in 79'-80' i think, he was a nice guy, used to be a sgt. in the shah's army and was wounded.

told me so many horror stories about the revolution and why he left.
spoke excellent english and back then, the US and iran had lots in common.

people here forget that.

most people only know the ayatollahs even here in the US.

a-jad and the ayatollahs ruined that country.
