Wrong galaxy my masked friend!

The moon you speak of is in the Burbank Galaxy, orbiting the planet Trumania.

You skeptics are all the same...

Can't we get past the burden of proof and just all accept that the Truman Show was real!?

What the heck is wrong with all you closed minded people anyways?

Man Chad...you need to look this stuff up before you type.

I just can't accept it, for one, who would want to go to Fiji?!

The place is practically under martial law!

Too many holes in the story, much like this whole disclosure shindig.

Now then mr mask I believe you are attempting to hijack the thread again with your antics.

It is clear by the amount of stars you recieve that you are a member that people look up to, perhaps instead of playing to the crowd with your silly childish posts/behaviour you could concentrate on what you do best?

Some of your threads I have read and indeed posts are second to none, but every now and then you change character and it all becomes so very confusing.

Which moon? Not ours.

Try Mimas, one of Saturn's moons.

I lean more towards Iapetus being the most death star like moon. Maybe there were several factions building their own Death stars - Hope this doesn't mean there are yet some sequels to come.

Damn me again...sorry, I make jokes and Chad starts it! The guy is a bad influence on me and I really need to learn to ignore his shenanigans...lol...no really...its him...not me...sorry again!

I'm not that proud of my posting history, save for a few comics and whatnot, and tend to make fluffy posts that complain too much...as for the childish behaviour, so sorry, its programed in to me, hardwired even...I'm a bafoon and a clown...that much I can say is scientific fact.

So again, my apologies...no harm intended...I'm just a silly thing.

BUT- on TOPIC AND REAL-

Most folks are not even saying what you stated in your OP is impossible...hell, most of us are not even risking to say anything about the facts on UFOs because we ALL VERY WELL KNOW there are sightings, footage, reports, documents, testimonies, etc etc from all over the globe dating back many decades.

But yet, "many alien believers" here are throwing back at the skeptics this whole-

"you don't believe in aliens and you are closed minded and unable to properly study the evidence!!!"

THAT IS UNFAIR, and untrue...

In fact, it is the skeptical posters here in this thread who are trying to FORCE many of the more lofty alien-believers to START USING PROPER SCIENCE to help them come to rational conclusions.

Meaning the following-

1) NOBODY HERE can say aliens are real factually. OBE, abductions, sightings, etc- all can be something OTHER THEN SPACE MEN. They can be so many things...thousands...but casual "readers of frivolous speculation" and "irrational gun jumpers", like to pretend that "seeing lights" or "objects" in the sky actually proves "aliens are real.

Not so...they can be any number of other things.

2) Saying that UFOs can be ANY NUMBER OF THINGS, dosn't make one close minded, nor does it make them "anti alien theory"...it makes them "allow" alternative ideas and concepts. An open mind expands its choices by allowing facts to enter the equation...they do not "limit the possibilities" with "invented stories or dogmatic fanaticism".

3) Being "anti science" is ridiculous. And not using it in ANY FORM of research is absolutely dangerous.

4) Anyone using "real science" will tell you, mathematically it is a billion times MORE probable that aliens DO exist. The Drake equation alone is enough for most of us on the "science side" to accept it is true...so please, all you "alien lovers and magic crystal worshiper-types" need to stop saying that science minded folks on here are "anti alien" or closed to the idea...we are not closed to the idea...we are awaiting proper verification of the facts...you are trusting in stories that are STILL unverified and coming to conclusions based on it.

5) You CAN'T factually say a war in space is being waged.

War in our space with aliens and our government is involved? Now please...tell me how "coming to that conclusion with no evidence to make it factual" somehow is "open minded"?

You CAN'T be serious in saying that is a fact...and if you are, well, sorry, that is a major flaw in your "reality compass".

Suspecting a war in space is one thing...an opinion...a hunch...fine and fair.

But demanding it is true...well, that is a flight of fancy and hardly something that should be considered worthy of publishing in any scientific journal...prove it first...then tell me its a fact.

Until then, I'm not overly impressed with the misuse of the words "fact, theory, law" in this thread by "one certain side of the debate"...and I really do not like seeing the "scientific process" being slaughtered in any field of research.

Again, sorry for my outbursts and juvenile antics...I'm a goof.

MM

That is so WIN! Debunk that you skeptics!!! IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE DEATH STAR! Prove that wrong.

Yeah...I didn't think so. Great pic.

For the drake equation to actually work for me, the rare earth hypothesis should be shattered. The drake is appealing, but the rare earth just bares the most (lack of) evidence as for now. I don't like shortcuts and leaps of faith so I'll stick to it as long as the evidence don't improve on drake.

Rare Earth Hypothesis

I am completely hardcore with that. No speculation of any sort is accepted to sneak past the rare earth hypo. Not even mathematical probability. The claim that the universe is teeming with intel life is simply too huge to be accepted without real hard undeniable scientific smack in your face proof.

The possible finding of microbial life on mars or anywhere in the universe wouldn't cut it either. It's a start, but not enough to kill the hypothesis.

That doesn't mean I discard the possibilities. I wouldn't shed a tear when the hypothesis is proven wrong.

so sad.. it seems any decent ufo/alien threads here are tarnished w/ fighting between skeptics and believers. i am a believer and yes the burden of proof is on us... however.. the burden of an open mind.. lost to so many.. is on the skeptics. maybe one day we will all grow up a little bit and stop being so polarized by the issue and be able to sit at the same table of understanding and have a real conversation about the facts. sad sad day.

Sigh...

Again...for like the 5th time...nobody on the science side of this thread is saying aliens are not real.

We are up to speed on current events/evidence/facts and allow the possibility to exist.

It would be dreadfully unscientific to say otherwise.

It is the "lofty types" taking leaps of faith that are mucking this thread up with ideas that "mostly" stem from hollywood and story tellers...

Having an opinion is fine and fair.

Telling people they are dumb or stubborn because they won't blindly follow you on a lark or jump of faith is just silly.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...uh...what's that?...oh...sorry...I was nodding off there. Where were we? Oh yeah, alien disclosure. WOWWEEE! This is news! Oh wait a minute, I'm sure this has been mentioned before hasn't it? Ummm yeah I think so.

There's more evidence here for wishful thinking than there is for disclosure of aliens. These threads are getting old.

Stop being silly please.

well put, and i have to agree. leaps of faith with no basis do not belong in a mature discussion of the matter. perhaps disclosure is close, maybe it wont be in our life times. but with our scientific understanding of the universe expanding exponentially everyday, and technology doing the same.. its not a secret that can be kept forever. BUT to sit and speculate on when and where... might as well go ask Ms. Cloe.

The burden of proof is on everyone who wants to know the truth. Whether the truth is aliens are coming here or not.

Those that know don't tell.
Refer to my short story "Verdon".
Don't expect anyone , anywhere, to admit to anything.
It's not part of the agreement.

Am I the only one thinking the brains want this thread closed down? Its rule two for skeptics. If you're overwhelmed then get the thread closed down.

Tell that to my stock broker. If we all played it safe, WITHOUT leaps of faith, then we would all be poor.

"No. We can't.
It produces no where near enough energy to produce a wormhole (if there even really is such a thing) and even less to keep one "open"." - 2nd post.

I don't know who this guy was who posted this, but this is the type of thinking that we have to avoid. It's easy to rely on intelligence when it's your own...over rated...under stimulated...BS information, feeding the said intelligence.

How in the world do you or anyone know how much energy it takes to open or sustain a wormhole? It may take very very very little energy at just the right frequency to create one...you never know. Human kind is only phycially/mentally capable of being affected by certain limits and perameters when it comes to sound, energy, vibrations, anything having to do with energy.

Uless you're a physicist working directly on the project, please refrain from posting your 'knowledge'.

Well there you have it in a nut shell,,,

"trying to FORCE... (your emphasis)

What is happening in reality is MANY people who have had experiences that would like to add their little portion, remain silent because of this PRESSURE applied by the full time 'skeptics' Many of these people merely see something they do not understand, but are neither scientists, nor have the research skills to do a full analysis,

How do I know they don't want to post and face the bombardment? Because I get emails and I am sure the OP has had many telling their story in private.

So by you skeptics trying to FORCE people do 'do it your way' you are turning ATS into debunker central. Is there no more room on ATS for speculation or asking a question that doesn't require proof, just opinions without having to go to Skunkworks?

While Skunkworks may be the hottest thing for Lockheed Martin... seem here at ATS things fall off the radar down there

In fact, isn't the whole "Alien and UFO" section speculative in nature anyway?

All throughout history science has been correcting itself continuously... so how can any of you make absolute statements which I see so often?

:shk:
