Hey for those of us who don't want to spend the money to pay someone to do it, yes, we do housework. I've spent this morning washing the bathroom walls and cupboards in preparation to paint (which I will also do because I like it). There are plenty of us who do windows.

Obvious Amazonian propaganda, designed to fool men into thinking they will too find a woman who does these things. But there are those of us who know the truth, that woman are evil creatures never to be trusted. This is why they separate the man and women for sex ed classes, in the women's sex ed the education is how to use your feminine wilds to completely destroy and bankrupt a man. It is of course every woman's ultimate goal.

I for one will not be fooled again. I know the truth.

Shows how much you know about females.

REAL women don't need a class to learn about the power of their essense.

And to use it to destroy men would be a waste of our energy.

Yet everyone who knows me
is stunned by how children take to me.

I don't have any children that I know of.



The Grandmothers are particularly
surprised at the calm confidence
that comes out in children
when I interact with them.

I guess I do have something of value
to give, despite, what the world would paint me as.
I'll just leave my thought here, and maybe someone
else can use it, before it goes extinct out of the world.

Mysogony is a result of selfishness. Feminism is a result of selfishness. We cannot all have what we want in this world. When someone's drive is purely selfish, it creates a world exactly like the one we live in - a world where a few make it to the top, at the expense of everyone else. A world dominated by the greedy and selfish who really dont care about the people they # all over in order to be in the position they are.

It is this same trait in people that creates the need for mysogony and feminism (and any other ism's you can think of). People want to be the best, they want personal glory, they want it all basically and will not let anyone stop them. Compromise seems to be an alien concept to many, yet it should come without thinking. Hence why women (and men) get mistreated by their spouses and marriages often dont last. People dont like a threat and some will stop at nothing to eliminate it, which includes creating movements which deceive people into believing something.

Yes we are all individuals but we are still a part of this planet. People need to accept the fact that we all work best as a collective, together, so we can draw on each others strengths and make up for others weaknesses.

To me, this post illustrates the one HUGE problem with feminism.

You saw a post that made some great points about feminism..and you saw it as misogyny. And so you wanted to turn it around...NOT to make men and women equal (which is what feminist say is what they want...but it truly isn't)...you wanted to place all the blame on MEN...you wanted women to look SUPERIOR.

And that is the problem I have with feminism...it seems a portion of them don't want equality...they want role reversal...and this post is a perfect example of that.

ya know, i've pondered the manual labor thing as well. it kinda goes hand in hand with the idea that a woman should be put on a pedestal like a prize trophy, where she will henceforth be saintly to the outside world and a pornstar in the bedroom. the man then goes to work where his labor assists in the cost of keeping his woman on her pedestal, looking nice and shiny, like a new masarati!

that is, till the equipment doesn't appear to be worth spending money on anymore, the pedestal is removed, and the wife actually develops a real relationship with her hubby. if they make it this far, they suddenly realize they barely know each other as human beings and that's when the potential for an incredibly sweet and trusting relationship really begins.

feminism tries to circumvent all that rigmarole, by cutting to the last part. some folks don't understand that however, and tend to over tick the plumbing, which causes a back lash and alot of breakage.

This thread is an obvious counter to another about feminism.

The problem is that it's quite off base.

You can't claim misogyny is the counter of feminism. Or even that men who don't support feminism are all misogynists. That would be like a man claiming all feminists are misandrists.

One is a political movement and another is an extreme psychological trait.

These graphs are ridiculous. I suggest you look up "abandonment" rates. The when the databases get very good, you can start comparing rates of people who just left and "married" someone else.

Add those to the divorce rate of those times, and your figures will not look quite so disproportionate.

A woman's inherent insecurity can be used to a man's advantage, but too few men seem to realise this.

The problem that so many men have, is that they turn into a bit of a tool when confronted with an attractive woman.

They'll act of character, desperately trying to impress her, and put her on a pedestal, when this is completely playing in to her hands, and reinforcing her fluctuating personal belief that she is a ''catch''.

This behaviour from men, has a very low-percentage chance of success !

Yes, the OP does appear to be guilty of the false choice logical fallacy, on this issue.

It's perfectly possible to be against feminism, and not hate women.

Similarly, it's possible to support feminism and hate women.

Obviously you have never been married. That is EXACTLY what women do. Men do want to do "male stuff" but a married man is curtailed by the wife. Yes, that did happen to me in my teenage years, when I was naïve.

I've matured now, and changed my whole philosophy on this issue, so it's now impossible for a woman to ever have any power over me ( except for my Mum, of course ).

I have not run across many threads discussing the topic from the misogyny angle, most threads I run across are against feminism, then combust into straight up female bashing.

Well, I don't think misogyny vs feminism is the right way to characterize the discussion, but that's really besides the point.

I find that when feminism threads come up they are like abortion debates. The other side naturally comes out to play, and things quickly spiral down into nastiness and idiocy. I don't see a lot of merit in threads like these, generally, unless you have a pre-qualified guest list or panel that can discuss things objectively.

Kinda rare around here really.
