I got yah! and I know what your saying and I agree in certain extent, but who ever said I'm Jehovah Witness? why is it hard for people to understand that you don't have to be related to non religion to know the truth, I know the truth cause I've research it. Not because someone told me, I really don't care for the Jehovah Witness at all or any other religion whatsoever. All along I've been telling people to stop being a follower of man, and start taking action on their own and the only way to do that is by reading the bible and research every single thing of it and the truth will automatically pop out. I don't believe in the Jehovah Witnesses o% can people understand that?

If there is a god, I don't think it would hate us, at worst I think it would pity us. Life and connection with ones spirit or soul is a life long journey in a scene by it's definition.I think anyone who is certain beyond question that they are holders of the truth, are probably further from true enlightenment as a 5 year old child.

To see something like the concept of a creator of the universe and beyond be some kind of score keeping punisher is both obscene and immature.

I as well have children, and although I am still on my search for what I see as the truth, I must admit that having a child gives a whole new prospective on what mazing creatures we are. We are fundamentally the person we will always be from the moment of birth. Though much is learned along the way in life, you are who you are from moment one.

Our consciousness is a miracle, whether from god or the universe, and it is so sad to waste it away in fear of punishment, letting precious time slip by. Our minds were given to observe and learn with, the sin would be not to use them.

If you've not seen it already, watch the ZeitGeist: Addendum movie (see below.) The first part quite adequately lays organised religion to rest for anyone who's open-minded enough to take it in. If you've already seen it, then watch it again and really pay attention this time.

If you still feel that there must be a god, then seek your god individually without the constraints of other people's dogma and rules and then just enjoy life that way.

You'll never change the mind of anyone who is closed to free thinking but by all means bang your head against that wall if you want to.

The problem is that you are trying to find out who God is when in fact understanding WHAT God is would be more easy.
It has been said that God is the Alpha and the Omega, dwell on this!
God is Everything, God is in you, in every atom and particle. God isn't a being but an Essence. God is the force driving our universe, making it possible to be and evolve.
Where do good and bad come then? Well Sins lead to only one thing: destruction. Living organisms have immune systems which are mandatory for survival. Sin in context is like a disease and if it spreads we will disappear after causing much damage. The bad apples are being sorted out, human beings are judged in death. You can see how mankind has evolved and despite all the hatred, we are far from the bloody dark ages and value lives and the environment much more.

We are all sons and daughters of God and IT has given us this gift that is Love so we can share it and protect our children from sin and harm. In my opinion the next big step in evolution is the widespread unconditional love and respect for all, not only family or cultural.

I think you don't know what that means. It means that God Jehovah never had a start or an ending, in other words he was never born and he will never die.

you are completely correct to question the doctrine of hellfire. its simply one of those teachings that are not compatible with the bible in anyway.

when you actually see what the scriptures say, it refers to destruction for the wicked (not sinners, there should be a distinction made between the wicked and the sinful. we are all sinners, but not all of us are wicked)

but the question i think really is, is god's love for mankind unconditional? and i think honestly that it is unreasonable to say that. even a parent's love for a child is not unconditional, i mean its easy to say it is when you have a semi good child, but if your child hates you and tries to kill you (and it has happened) then i doubt the love is unconditional.

for god to love mankind unconditionally would mean that god cannot be just. god would love the victim and the person doing the hurt equally. how could god promise safety to the victims if he refuses to remove the unrepentant wicked?

Nephi - you do me an injustice as I did read your question plus all preceding and subsequent text. However, I apparently didn't explain myself well enough.

i think humans have the wrong understanding of who and what god is about , and in this simple idea of mine i pictured every one going in rewind back to the very first peron ever created ...and it is their that i found god, and Love

You're asking the same question asked by endless christians (and some other religions) during their indoctrination years before they lose the complete ability to question their religion. This is true if I'm anything to go by. All of this is built into organised religions which set themselves up as the representatives of god on earth. If you wish to attain salvation, then you must obey the church. Power, control, enslavement - it has worked beautifully for millenia.

Everyone should do what you did and seek god in their own way. Once you've found him, be happy NOT to force others to believe as you do. Ignore the convoluted teachings of organised religions. That way lies happiness.
