Are there going to be any additional options added for private messages, such as a box to show quoted text, and the option of previewing your message before you send like you can for a post on a thread?

Also, does BBCode work for private messages?

What do you mean by "box to show quoted text"?

And yes, BBCode works on the private messages.

Like what we get on threads when we quote each other.

If you reply to a message that message appears quoted like when you quote a post, is that it?

Yes, I'm asking if the quoted material is clearly identified just like it is on a thread.

It has been my experience in the past when I have received a u2u that when I read the reply it's confusing because you really don't know where the quoted material ends and the reply begins; you have to rely on memory about what you said in your initial u2u.

Other forums I've been a member of have private message software that quote in private messages the exact same way as on threads.

BBCode works!!!

Are we going to also get the option to preview our message before we send?

The preview would be great, I sometimes send a message to myself to see if everything is fine before sending it to its real destination.

Another weird thing that has been irritating me the last few days is the Clone Wars ad. It covers the blue bar at the top with My ATS and such. Is this something related to the changeover, is it just a faulty ad or is my computer a piece of junk?

Well, I am sure my comp is not the greatest, but is that the source of my problem? Has anyone else had this problem? I'll try and take a screenshot next time I see it.

Here it is.

I have a similar problem in that I cannot zoom in as much as I want to to make the font size of thread posts comfortably large enough for me to read without messing up the white Google Custom Search box on the upper right and the RECENT POSTS button.

I have that problem too and the only way I've solved it to my satisfaction is to add the "nosquint" add-on to Firefox and zoom that way. Using the auto-zoom feature built into browsers doesn't help/work well for the site layout now. It's probably the main reason I no longer use Opera or Chromium browsers on ATS anymore...

Is it spelled some other way? I'm getting a "no results found" for "nosquit."

Edit for I left out the "n."

the 'go light switch'?
this was very useful to me.
because of my odd form of dyslexia the black background makes it very hard for me to read
anything on the board.
i posted this in, 'questions' branch, and was sent this way.
'go light switch'

the link is still available but does nothing.
help, please.
i'm afraid i'll have to give up on ats until it is available.

Is Opera just as good as Firefox as a browser overall?
