The NY Mosque Controversy. Summed Up In One Picture.

My view since the very beginning, has been that if they truly intend for this place to be representative of a "Bridging of varying faiths and cultures", then why not make it so? Why not bring Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, etc. all together as one, worshipping under a single roof, side-by-side?

THIS HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST MOST INSENSITIVE SUBJECT POST OF ALL TIME. Nevermind who the true culprits responsible for 911 were, we'll never know. But to passively let a 100 million dollar (lets be frank here) islamic themed facility be built anywhere near a place of great sorrow and suffering caused by said religion blamed by our government is in bad form and even worst taste. I can give a phuc less about your splitting hairs about what denomination or faction of this crazy religion called islam that should be held accountable. They are all crazy to me. The poster of this trash is a cold hearted senseless person with no regard to the victim's families or the victims themselves. Pornshops, drug hangouts, pre-existing mosques and whatever else you happened to include in your childish diagram are supposed to represent what? Those settings represent the commonalities of every major metropolitan city in America . The locals' emotional vehement defiance to this utter costly nonsense is being ignored because of a few "people" like you. That is the true tragedy. I have an idea OP, how about we resurrect the biggest Christian Church smack dab in the middle of the Middle East and see how they feel about it.

Point is we are an established Christian Nation and Muslims are spreading their crap all over the US. I, personally would not consider myself religious, but do have enough common sense and morals to understand the real reason behind building the Largest Mosque in the US right down the street from Ground Zero. It does not take an idiot to realize the true motives behind such an endeavor!

Next there will be so many Muslims attending that the street leading down to ground zero will be full of worshipers blocking the streets like the streets in Paris. Could It turn out like this?

Yeah, go on Americans, let them do what they want, and after this you'll never be able to stop Islams hold on society, politics, schools (yes, Christianity is out but God forbid we insult the muslims in our schools). USA will end up like Albania which once had no muslims and is now a muslim country in all intents and purposes.

Muslim's get a free pass on hate speech. I've never seen leftists take such a great bow to religious freedom than when Muslims are in question. Would they so defend Jews, Christians, Hindus? No.

Let's all live in happy-land and ignore the fact that there are some radical imams who's goal is nothing short of turning all of the Western Kingdom into 8th Century Spain.

This issue is bigger than religious freedom or free speech. As far as I am aware, yelling "fire" in a crowded theater is still not protected by law nor is slander. This mosque is the religious equivalent.

Nip what in the bud? If the US is going to be converted to Islam then the Muslims sure are taking their time seeing how they have been in this country from the start. So at the rate they are going we should be converted in about the year 5000. We should band together and drive out the hatemongers then we would be doing the country a favor.
