Just to set the record straight, I don't believe a word Beck OR Obama have to say.

I like to think for myself. I guess I'm just odd that way.

What people don't seem to realize is that glenn beck is a visionary. He is trying to save us from obama socialism, and if you think what he says runs counter to what everyone else is saying, it's because everyone else is a LIAR.

The only person capable of telling the truth on the news is Glenn Beck. The rest of you a mindless zombies who only pay attention to the dear leader, and would never consider listening to alternative choices -- like Glenn Beck.

It's too late for me to think straight. Please tell me this is obvious satire.

All I'm saying is that you shouldn't mindlessly follow a single source, or person, like some kind of useful idiot, lead around on a leash by people on a bully pulpit with an agenda -- like Obama.

And you would realize all this if you tuned in to glenn beck's television and radio show every day, like I do!

Out of curiosity, what is it about Beck that draws you to him? I realize that he must speak for some of the things that you believe in. I don't mind people having differing opinions but I just can't understand why someone would want Glenn Beck to be a spokesperson for anything that they believe in. He just oozes slime and dishonesty and I feel genuine sympathy for the people that believe in him.

As we should know with just about everything in life we will have those that believe or do not believe. It has always been this way and probably will continue to be this way.

Whether you agree with Mr. Beck or you do not let's be mature about this.

If I didn't like Mr. Beck I wouldn't share in the thread.

I do feel as Mr. Glenn Beck has changed for the good and I believe he is correct in saying we all need to look within ourself and make the change ourselves in a peaceful way.

People do change and no one is perfect. I believe Mr. Beck has changed for the good myself.

You know the funny thing about this site are the venomous remarks and sniping that occurs back and forth between party lines. Those of you that toe those party lines are mindless dolts. It is obvious that Democrat or Republican is the solution to this countries problems.

The ping pong of power that occurs fixes nothing. We The People of the United States of America have no memory other than what happened yesterday.

Whether it be Beck or Obama or countless others in between they are all poison for this country. We need a profound shift in our Country as a whole, because the way it is going now we will be a third world country before you know it.

I do not agree with many of Becks thoughts, yet I agree with more than I disagree with.

I appreciate that he tells people to do their own research.
I appreciate that he uses videos and quotes of people he investigates.
I appreciate that he called out Bush for his unConstitutional and liberal progressive actions and his other foul ups.
I appreciate that he realizes WE have to be the ones to change things, not the government. This is why I have recently stated that I no longer consent to be governed by this tyrannical government. Until they return to the Constitution, the only law they are to follow, I no longer have to follow their rule set.
I appreciate that he realized that the only truth comes through spirituality and individual freedom/liberty. Wondered when he would find that truth, glad he actually found it. Took him long enough though.
I appreciate that he has found his spirituality.
I appreciate many other things about him, especially the fact that he has awakened more than just himself.

I appreciate many more things about him, I could go on, but this is enough.

I watched the rally on FB and usually watch his show. I do not listen to the radio show though.

As for the haters and detractors, they do not realize that Beck is JUST another source of information. If you look through a tunnel as SO many do, you do not see what is outside that tunnel. Oh well, there will always be those that will only listen to one source. And there will always be those that DO NOT investigate themselves. That is why you have so much hate against him. They listen to places like MSNBC and Media Matters. They listen to the Sherroded clips and snippets.

Hell of a subject to start with on ATS. Beck gets shredded here. For one thing though, you should get a lot of comments. Watch for MSZ, that member HATES Beck religiously. Do not even bother replying. Later.

yes Glenn has also said this...that the answer is not whether there is an R or a D behind your name....if there is a political message coming out of it ...it is "choose Politicians that have a proven moral standard"

There in lies the entire problem with this country. We as a people are morally bankrupt. No one is without this debt.

Granted Beck is now putting out as his message, it is only to bolster book sales and increase ad revenue for his various other media formats. Trust no one for they all have an agenda.

Thank you for your post....from what i gathered...he has taken a rather long and winding road to get where he is....but haven't we all at one time or another had to take that same road, i have...even now the road sometimes in the distance doesn't look as strait and narrow as i expect it to be...

I also like how he tells us to do our own research....i take him up on that challenge....in todays world of electronic manipulation it is too easy to be duped....

I often find myself wondering if Glenn's Call to wake up isn't akin to
the apostle paul's warning....

I like the thought though...if when a politician tells us something we could at least half-believe....because they have a moral history of not lying...you understand right?

As I have said before, Glen is no maverick going against the system, this is what you are meant to believe, but lets just ask ourselves who is Glens employer, thats right News International owned by Robert Murdoch, who really has no cares how your country ends up as long as he is pulling in advertising revenue.

Why would anyone follow a commentator from a mainstream news corporation to the extent where he has taken on some Guru type status. Does the fact that he believes Americans and Native Indians were both Gods chosen people, make you want to question what the hell the guy is going on about. I watched his speech and I have never heard such nonsense. I watched in amazement as the sheep lapped it all up feeling slightly worried for America's future

So basically you want to create a Beck worship thread where no one is allowed to post anything negative about him? You do realize this is a discussion forum and people are allowed to voice their opinions because of the "deny ignorance" mantra, right?

You can't forbid people to rant about that obvious shill. He's endorsing a company that obviously rips of its customers, and clearly is against NET NEUTRALITY...something that all of us should be concerned about. AND he's turned into a total televangelist tapping into people's faith just so they'll follow his agenda. He also makes a living of taking things to extremes that have no real bearing in the real world. All just to get the people rally...just wish they'd realize his entire message is based on controlling the masses through faith, and badly researched statements based on either lies or half-truths.

Net neutrality affects ALL OF US, especially here on ATS...and Beck being against it just shows how deep he's in the pocket of big business:



If you want a one-sided Beck worship thread, I suggest you create a Beck fan blog...ATS is a DISCUSSION forum where people have a right to voice their opinion.

I tend to agree with you. Listen to several sources,do your own research,and find out the real story. The only problem is that you have to READ and THINK for yourself. It seems that many people aren't equipped for that task,they would rather have someone else form their opinions for them.

Welcome to ATS. I am fairly new myself and there are many things that must be learned quickly.

ATS rules and moderators take care of the forums. So it's hard to ask people not to bash your particular point, since they disagree.

This site is not just about mainstream politics. This site offers a mixture of everything non mainstream. Beck falls into the MSM puppet catagory.

He is an entertainer. Nothing more. His ideas fall into the same catagory as Wiley Coyote on a bad cartoon re-run. It's not that he does not say things that provoke thought, but he says things that contradict his own position.

Stick around ATS for a while and you will see what I mean.

Glenn has talked about the "Dark times ahead" and if we are all honest we've "felt"/"seen" something coming from as far back as President Bush's 2nd term..

I remember thinking that they were spending waaaay too much back then...

There are many other "Smart" people that are coming to these conclusions too that we are headed for some hard times...most of them have just wrote the predictions down in Books...that very few read....others have online articles...again forgotten by the masses....even now the other MSM are reporting these "Dark Times" ahead....

Has anyone else done any research into the Delation/inflation that is predicted...

also has anyone started to prepare in the event these predictions are correct...
