My friend changed history

Personally i don't think time travel is possible, how ever i do believe travelling dimensions is possible.
I just don't get the whole concept of time travel.
How can we be here, and also be where ever the time traveller is.
For example, if someone travelled back 10 years now, and killed me, how would i be typing now? would i just disappear from existence?
Doesn't make sense to me.

Oh Man, I would have to talk to this person! How could you not be curious enough to do that, after putting it on here? I think there are a lot of weird things that have happened, will happen in the future. To have asomething like this happen to you has got to scream for further investigation! PLEASE!

OMG There is no way...you see, I have a very unsettling gift, I can see the future & the past, and well, There never was any event like that in 1963 in any timeline. I think this dude is messing with you. I think he saw you when looking at the neighboring house/property and he may actually have a gift himself as in seeing/picking up that your into this conspiracy stuff, and he was having fun with you. I know there was no nuclear arms incident in 1963, the correct year for this was actually(to be) 1983, if it were to have happened, however it was prevented by America's favorite psychic, Jean Dixon. So actually it was Prevented not Intervented. This was Really when the true arms debacle was supposed to have happened, but didn't. This is also why Mandela is now alive, and why also that so many dead actors were alive again, and some have ended up also dead again but months/years later.

What you're saying intrigues me. Can you please reveal some more information on to how the 1983 confrontation was adverted? I tried finding it by researching Jean Dixon but havn't found anything.

To the OP of this thread....I love entertaining stories like that and yearn for evidence of anything remotely similar which after countless simialr stories Ive read online in my life would love for even one of them to be true thou I doubt it.

I think the OP post would make for an awesome movie.....

picture the opening.....The Cuban missile Crisis takes place.....due to whatever influences on either side Kennedy makes the rash decision to bomb Cuba to smitherines . The soviet Union retaliates as does the US with a second strike against The soviet union itself.....

US Nukes stationed in europe are also sent towards russia making europe a target.

nuclear winter occurs in most places.....

we follow the movie with humanitys struuggle the decades afterwards.....

wars and on going genocide amongst variouspeoples of the world, famines and diseases......the protected "elite" politicians, scientists, military heads all live in D.U.M.B's around the world in strategic locations.

Scientists discovers a way to use the leftover nukes/reactors to build a time machine with nuclear powered electro magnetic fields (I dont know if this is possible, just making it up), the ehad of the black government that is left decides to scour the US (whats left of it) to find someone worthy to send back in time to fix what happened.....enter Bruce Willis.....drunk ex-cia special ops soldier drunk in a bar talking to someone he just met about a future world that the war never took place, the sky was blue, people where everywhere etc etc....

then follow his voyage back in time to kill influential people on both sides...both US and Soviet that made this happen....

this is such a load of crap. lol the fact that some of you people buy this story is scary and alarming. seriously there are more plot holes in this story than a badly written movie. first and foremost if it were possible to travel back in time as if it were some solid material. the instant you moved to the past your atoms are from another time and space and as such would cause all sorts of chaos. your mind is not even capable of projecting the kind of ripple effect just sending 1 human back in time can do to alter a timeline. let alone killing people and interfering with the past. you shouldn't exist the future the timetraveller came from would be so different all the people would be different. even the sperm that impregnated the egg your mum was carrying could have been different causing your genetics to be different. if your mum and dad missed each other by a single hour or even met on a different day the outcome is infinitely different. the mere stupidity of this thread is mind blowing. so he knew you from the future and is now looking out for you? how did he know where to find you how did he know what you looked like. you said you served in the military from 2002 to 2004 so unless you did so in a wheel chair im assuming you were born after 1963 so unless you were 42 when you joined the military which incidentally is the maximum age to join the military. not that i needed to go to such lengths to prove this false. there are plenty more holes in this story i just dont have the time to waste that the OP seems to have.

Yes! It'd be cool to add a prologue and it doesn't have t ostartthe way I was thinking it should but if the prologue started with him just enjoying the local newspaper and a cup of coffee outside a lesser known restaraunt right before/after going to work that'd be cool. Bc then this stranger, wearing sunglasses and a business shirt tucked in and dress pants, could sit down across from him. And then the scene shall play...
"May I help you?" the OP would say, looking up at this finely pressed stranger who could by no means be a begging homeless man or a psycho. This stranger held a famialar demeanor that the OP couldn't pin point.
In calm composure, the guy with sunglasses closed mouth smiles, "They said you wouldn't remember me, but I still hoped. Maybe..."
The main character attempts to hide his growning confusion over the stranger, asking him what he means by 'they' and not remembering him.
The sunglass-man laughs, "If you're so curious, I work for the CIA now, [insert main characters name.] My mission is a dirty one and I can do something people today think is impossible, that nobody can prove... I'm a time traveling assassin."
The main character boasts in laughter, having to apologize for his reaction. Shaking his head, he thinks this guy is a complete looney.
"You're a [insert profession]" the guy with sunglasses says matter-of-factly before the OP can speak, "You are a wiz at electro-magnetic technology, astro-physics, theoretical science, and advanced mathematical calculations but hide your gift even from your loved ones afraid for reasons you don't know yourself. You love spaghetti, hate meatballs, and always try to decode slight behaviors in human beings and always get their intentions right."
"How did you..?"
"There's no time for personal questions. I suspect by now you'd believe me if I told you the Cuban Missile crises did in fact happen, and JFK gave the OK."
"...Well, that's a good -- wait, what?"
The sunglasses man crooks a smile, "In a different time, much different than today, the world was under nuclear winter. Most of the world, plants animals oceans, were dead and useless, contaminated by radiatian. By this time, Earth was dead. Do you believe me?"
"...I don't know--"
"Good, because it only gets crazier."
And then it goes to the scene with the Cuban missiles with the date and location appearing for a few seconds on the bottom of the screen.
