Ok I got you. Sorry for the misread there. You were talking about Palin as well.

The Dr should have let Jade tell the whole story before going off on the speech. The rant may have not been justified here and Jade may have been picked on. I mean a black woman that weds a white man cant be very sensitive can she?

The difference is that "retarded" is always an insult". Apparently "'n-word'" is an insult or not, depending on the skin color of the person saying it.

Blacks are very astute when it comes to psycho analyzing whites.
This ability has developed naturally over the years and comes from generations of coping with whites while learning which ones to trust and distrust.
To a certain degree, blacks now know how a white person might think given a certain situation and can almost predict how a white might react as a result.
Blacks are now using this ability against whites and non blacks, almost as a Jedi mind trick.
They use the N word amongst themselves because they know people have a tendency of repeating words that are thrown around.

The N word is nothing more than a form of bait that is used to trap non blacks and Dr Laura fell for it, big time.

Yes Don got jumped on simply because he was a white man there.

There is a black radio crew here in town and they say all sorts of the same thing about whites....but they are on a "black station" so no white hear them and wouldnt complain much anyway.

Ignorance is telling me that blacks don't discriminate; that they aren't racist, more so than whites. Why is it when I was at university, I had to apply for my scholarships every year? Meanwhile, the black kids with lower GPA's and SAT scores got a free ride right out of high school JUST BECAUSE THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN. Where's my white scholarship? THERE'S NO SUCH THING. Blacks would pull the race card if there were. Now go on and continue to be ignorant and blind. Watch your BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION and Tyler Perry movies. Go to primarly black college on your black scholarship. I've already cited examples of black racism. I just provided another one. Facts are facts. I've proven my point. Her husband is black then? That accounts for some of her chip to be sure. She had this caller crying about all the things she had to cry about for years and had no pity.

Look I know some interracials white wife black guy and her kids have told me how she would call them 'n-word's when she got mad. Black dad told them to forget their white side ect ect....not always a neat thing this interracial stuff.

You might want to learn some history and figure out WHY minorities had to start organizations and scholarships for themselves. Hmmm...could it be because they were denied every other scholarship??? Good thing that Alabama State University is doing. Is it easier to get in there if you're white? Actually it would be fun to look at their statistics. Are they getting good white students? If so, good for them!

Let's end affirmative action, it's long overdue. No more black scholarships, diverse housing, etc. People are people, you don't get special goodies for being dark.

George Carlin said the same thing. Niger in itself isn't a "bad" word, it depends on the context. Black people can say the N word but that's because people know they aren't racist.

Sadly, I think if she was a "he" people might have listened more to what she was getting at. I think men talking about controversial issues is a lot more socially accepted than women doing the same.
