Why the west should fear muslims

Once again- i tire of being told i must fear something or someone.
my rod and my staff comfort me, and i will fear no evil.
granted nowdays the rod and staff
are a shotgun and high cap auto pistol.
there's alot of america and the world that
i cant understand nor change- so be it, but-
it's like when i got in a fight with a drunk indian-
he kept poking me in the chest saying-you aint no chief-
but i put him at arms length and told him -
from here on in i'm the chief- poke me again and see.
so he did, and i knocked him on down.
and thats the deal- in the wide world no-i'm not a chief-
but for say about 100 yards out i sure am the top dog of squat.

why do you still generalise 1.54 billion people (population of Muslims in the world) into one category?

I've not read the Qur'an in it's entirety... but I can tell you about the Bible... it's full of murdering, and war, and incest, and almost all of it is rationalized by saying God wanted it so. BS.... My sister is top in her school, she's 16 and already has 3 scholarships. New Zealand Muslim Women are much more independent, and qualified than Muslim Men.

Seems like it's such an exceptional case,

Wow! Truly a can of worms.

I don't like Islam. I'm not gonna be all PC and say that it's a religion of peace, or that you can't generalize it. I do think most Muslim people are decent and probably overlook the more hostile parts of their religion, I'm sure many individual Muslims are very charitable and peaceful, but the religion is not.

On the other hand, Islam is not as bad as the New World Order which wants you to fear it so much. The reason why we are encouraged to hate Muslims is because the Muslim countries are the last civilization in the way of world domination by the bankers, at least that's my theory.

Many westernized people are charitable and peaceful I'd say.

Islam mentions giving 10% charity to the religion,
any initial peace is overshadowed by Muhammad's violent actions.

Sorry, oozyism, but I am not the hating kind, more the laugh about it kind. I don't hate anyone. I just see some people as problems, and I don't see all Muslims as problems, but when I see a woman in a burqa, I see a problem.

Will you let your wife dress the way she wants as well, even if she wants to wear pumps in public and dress up in style now and then, wear a skirt that shows some leg? I hope you do.

I wanted to see for myself so a few years ago I went out and bought an English translation of the koran.

It took me about 2 minutes to find places where it said things like, "Search out the Christians and the Jews and kill them under the rocks they hide under".

It also said that non-believers have three choices .......

1. To convert to islam.
2. To be enslaved.
3. To be killed.

The problem with The Koran is that it contradicts itself throughout and on nearly every single issue.

As a result people can cherry pick quotes to support their arguement whilst ignoring contradictory quotes.

As such The Koran, and in turn Islam itself, can be portrayed as a peaceful religion or as a barbaric, hate filled and all controlling belief system.

In my humble opinion The Koran, as with most religious tomes, should be viewed as hypocritical and self-serving nonsense and another example of why all organised religions should be avoided at all costs.

You have to look at the historical setting of what is being stated. Was Islam under other rule and put down at the time of certain texts? That would explain the context of what is written. Cherry picking doesn't help because it's taking the context out of what is written.

And whether they can be s "interpreted by mulsim religious leaders to suit their need" is irrelevant. I could selectively quote you to suit my needs. Does that mean you should stop talking? No.

The Koran is allegedly the word of God, or Allah, as related to Mohammed via Gabriel in dreams over a period of 22years.
At times Mohammed himself thought that he maybe mad.

As Mohammed was illiterate he commanded The Companions to each memorise a portion of what was to become The Koran.

As such The Koran is considered the literal words of Allah and any inconsistencies and contradictions must come from him or Mohammeds interpretations.

The area where Mohammed lived was tribal and under no occupation as we would know it.

Every schism or denomination of Islam cherry picks The Koran to suit and believe their's the one, true and literal interpretation.
