Reading your post has me scratching my head. Your response is one of those that makes me want to read more into this whole thing. I have never really read all that much about the Holocaust, only what was taught in school or occasional reading for pleasure. I only recently started reading about Hilter, Germany and the Nazi's. I am just now getting to the parts of the books I have where they talk about the Holocaust. I don't know what to think of the stuff you have mentioned. Do you have any links to any of this, maybe a place where I could start and then go from there on my own Like I said I have never read anything about this in too much detail. people when they bring it up. I know that Jews weren't the only ones who died but I have never heard that there weren't gas chambers.

Sure It was real. My father went thru WW2 in Europe. He was 8 years old and he stole food for his younger brothers, sister and mother, while my grandfather was part of the artillery on top of the hills, outside of the city.

My father and my grandmother told me horrible things about that war, and holocaust was real. I know it by first hand, not by a website or a video.

If you are saying so because you hate Jews for simply being Jewish, then it may apply. If your just saying the numbers were exaggerated, that is another thing altogether.

I posted that purposefully not targeted at any individual for a reason. It should only offend the Holocaust deniers it was clearly targeted towards. Nobody else would take offense.

Holocaust Deniers know for a fact the Holocaust took place, Like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, their motive is hatred of all Jews. Hence the comparisons to other such groups.

To deny they are on ATS is to deny the truth.

Interestingly enough, I'm old enough I've sat face to face with survivors and spoken with them. Even had a wonderful German Lady as friend for a while as a neighbor who gave me her eyewitness story from the German side. Oddly enough it was the same.

Now that those who know are dying or are dead, do you actually think its a mere coincidence the Jew Haters are back on the surface again, rewriting history, or trying too?

Really not posting to argue the validity of the Holocaust, but I do continually wonder why all of the other victims of the camps are ignored.

First, Germany attacking Jews was not original. It was a popular spectator sport in eastern Europe for a 1000 years before Hitler. Got the plague get rid of the jews, crops failed get rid of jews. Nothing original by the Germans. The Jews were complicit in the succuess of the Bolshevik revolution(note how history doesn't mention the Jewish purge from the communist party after Lenin gained power). So along with history,the Red scare and their actions against the German people in the Weimar years it wasn't hard to make Jews into scapegoats.

For the record as stated previously. The Japs killed at least 10,000,000 Chinese and others, Stalin murdered at least 30,000,000 in Russia, Mao killed at least 50,000,000 Chinese and as recently as 1976 Pol Pot in Cambodia murdered around 3,000,000. Someday we will get numbers from North Korea and Kim that will really be interesting. I'd also like to see the totals murdered by the Jews in Palestine another number we don't talk about. If anyone thinks that 500,000 Palestinians moved out into a tent refugee camp in the desert because Ariel Sharon asked them nicely, then you must also believe in "Hope & Change".

In short, the point has been espoused so much that it doesn't matter, it is just a number to continue victimization for the Zionist agenda. The whole idea we now have a term Denier to eliminate discourse is only part of the agenda.

Of more concern is the denial of the fact that communist regimes have murdered orders of magnitude more people that any fascists. No fascists have been in power since 1945 and yet the worst name anyone can be called is Nazi, despite the fact that Stalin and Mao made Hitler look like an amatuer. The fact that being called a communist is less derogatory than being called a Nazi is what is really scary.

The 1935 L-B series used gold from Germany and several other sources. Coin dates don't always match minting dates. Why this was done in this case could be a simple explanation or a more nefarious reason trying to make the coins appear to be pre-war years. Don't know why. But they used gold from 1942-45 German era.

Why does Jewry not remember six million Jews murdered in the first Holocaust of 1919? Why do they not seek compensation for the first six million? Why do they not recall the six million, murdered in 1919? Or is the "6-Million" story nothing but a Cabbalistic prophecy which needs to be fulfilled in order to justify the annexation of Palestine?

Between 1933 and 1942 there existed an organized a network of 40 camps throughout Germany where prospective Jewish settlers were trained for their new lives in Palestine. These German funded "Kibbutz" training camps were run by Zionists. When the emigrants left for Palestine they were permitted to take all their wealth with them.

This was the direct result of an agreement between Zionists and Germany, whereby Jews would be encouraged to settle in Palestine, Madagascar, or other areas denoted by the Zionist group.

Through this "Transfer" agreement, Hitler's Germany did more than any other government to support Jewish nationalism and further Zionist goals.

Other Jewish groups sabotaged the agreement when they successfully caused Palestine, Britain, the US and other European countries all to refuse entry to the Jewish emigrants. Many ships were sent back to Germany from Palestine, the UK and the US for this reason.

THE "FINAL SOLUTION"

Many Zionists of that era openly supported Nazism and encouraged Adolf Hitler to send his "Unwanted Jews" to British Palestine / Israel.

Adolf was delighted to cooperate. By encouraging Jewish emigration more than two-thirds of Germany's Jews emigrated voluntarily in a peaceful process whereby they were permitted to take their wealth with them. Compared to previous pogroms against Jews this was relatively civilized and painless. What Germany considered their "Jewish Problem" was two-thirds solved - peacefully - by the time war broke out, but Jewish emigration to Israel was stopped by Britain who was having political trouble with different Jewish pressure groups.

Many Zionists were delighted with the German collaboration process and made suggestions to the Nazis to help speed up the process, such as forcing Jews in Germany to wear the star of David - a Zionist innovation. The more pressure German Jews felt, the more would emigrate to Israel, so the theory went. The end result (and proposed "Final Solution")was the resettlement of Jews in Palestine and elsewhere.

After other countries stopped accepting Jews from German held territories, Adolf had many of the remaining European Jews incarcerated and deported to the east, but continued to seek other destinations for them. Other countries, such as the US and Brittain, were persuaded not to accept Jewish emigrants from Germany. International Jewish lobby groups had implemented this refusal policy throughout Allied and neutral countries.

The question isn't whether people died in Concentration Camps. At least not for me. My grandfather, his sister and his brother were all in concentration camps (not jewish.) He and his brother were able to make it out alive, only to be shuttled back to a post-war Soviet occupied Austria (where my grandfathers brother was promptly executed. My gramps jumped off the train before it ever arrived.)

Concentration Camps existed. People died there. The real question is how many, are the numbers accurate, how are we sure, and what was the actually population percentage.

One month before the end of World War 2, General Eisenhower issued special orders concerning the treatment of German Prisoners and specific in the language of those orders was this statement,

"Prison enclosures are to provide no shelter or other comforts."

Eisenhower biographer Stephen Ambrose, who was given access to the Eisenhower personal letters, states that he proposed to exterminate the entire German General Staff, thousands of people, after the war.

Eisenhower, in his personal letters, did not merely hate the Nazi Regime, and the few who imposed its will down from the top, but that HE HATED THE GERMAN PEOPLE AS A RACE. It was his personal intent to destroy as many of them as he could, and one way was to wipe out as many prisoners of war as possible.

Of course, that was illegal under International law, so he issued an order on March 10, 1945 and verified by his initials on a cable of that date, that German Prisoners of War be predesignated as "Disarmed Enemy Forces" called in these reports as DEF. He ordered that these Germans did not fall under the Geneva Rules, and were not to be fed or given any water or medical attention. The Swiss Red Cross was not to inspect the camps, for under the DEF classification, they had no such authority or jurisdiction.

Months after the war was officially over, Eisenhower's special German DEF camps were still in operation forcing the men into confinement, but denying that they were prisoners. As soon as the war was over, General George Patton simply turned his prisoners loose to fend for themselves and find their way home as best they could. Eisenhower was furious, and issued a specific order to Patton, to turn these men over to the DEF camps. Knowing Patton as we do from history, we know that these orders were largely ignored, and it may well be that Patton's untimely and curious death may have been a result of what he knew about these wretched Eisenhower DEF camps.

The book, OTHER LOSSES, found its way into the hands of a Canadian news reporter, Peter Worthington, of the OTTAWA SUN. He did his own research through contacts he had in Canada, and reported in his column on September 12,1989 the following, in part:

"...it is hard to escape the conclusion that Dwight Eisenhower was a war criminal of epic proportions. His (DEF) policy killed more Germans in peace than were killed in the European Theater."

"For years we have blamed the 1.7 million missing German POW's on the Russians. Until now, no one dug too deeply ... Witnesses and survivors have been interviewed by the author; one Allied officer compared the American camps to Buchenwald."

It is known, that the Allies had sufficient stockpiles of food and medicine to care for these German soldiers. This was deliberately and intentionally denied them. Many men died of gangrene from frostbite due to deliberate exposure. Local German people who offered these men food, were denied. General Patton's Third Army was the only command in the European Theater to release significant numbers of Germans.

Others, such as Omar Bradley and General J.C.H. Lee, Commander of Com Z, tried, and ordered the release of prisoners within a week of the war's end. However, a SHAEF Order, signed by Eisenhower, countermanded them on May 15th.

Col. James Mason and Col. Charles Beasley who were in the U.S. Army Medical Corps who published a paper on the Eisenhower Death Camps in 1950. They stated in part:

"Huddled close together for warmth, behind the barbed wire was a most awesome sight; nearly 100,000 haggard, apathetic, dirty, gaunt, blank-staring men clad in dirty gray uniforms, and standing ankle deep in mud ... water was a major problem, yet only 200 yards away the River Rhine was running bank-full."

Another Veteran, who will not be buying any of the Eisenhower Silver Dollars is Martin Brech of Mahopac, New York, a semi-retired professor of philosophy at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. In 1945, Brech was an 18 year old Private First Class in Company C of the 14th Infantry, assigned as a guard and interpreter at the Eisenhower Death Camp at Andernach, along the Rhine River. He stated for SPOTLIGHT, February 12, 1990:

"My protests (regarding treatment of the German DEF'S) were met with hostility or indifference, and when I threw our ample rations to them over the barbed wire. I was threatened, making it clear that it was our deliberate policy not to adequately feed them."
"When they caught me throwing C- Rations over the fence, they threatened me with imprisonment. One Captain told me that he would shoot me if he saw me again tossing food to the Germans ... Some of the men were really only boys 13 years of age...Some of the prisoners were old men drafted by Hitler in his last ditch stand ... I understand that average weight of the prisoners at Andernach was 90 pounds...I have received threats ... Nevertheless, this...has liberated me, for I may now be heard when I relate the horrible atrocity I witnessed as a prison guard for one of 'Ike's death camps' along the Rhine." (Betty Lou Smith Hanson)

its amazing to me how if you kill one rich guy the whole world has almost ended but kill a billion peasants and nobody bats an eyelid. there have been more people killed in African and south america in one year than all the jews in ww2. or what about the genocide of American Indians by the white settlers. or the Australian aborigines where are there museums of death and mass murder? bah people in power are the biggest cry babies. stub their toe and cry for years.

It is like a little child caught in a lie and he told that lie to billions of people. But the child has the power over everyone and can cause so much chaos if someone decides they would like to speak out against the lie he told. Imho, you have resumed quite well why there is no real debate about the holocaust among historians and any kind of citizens. In Germany, you can even be jailed if you deny the holocaust happened...

Millions of Jews and others were slaughtered without mercy.

My only beef is that the other millions who were massacred don't get as much recognition...but yet again, there aren't many mainstream films about Stalin's rampage...or Japan's rape and murder of 300,000+ Chinese. In fact, films about Nazis and the Holocaust in general were PROHIBITED in Hollywood...until legends such as Chaplin broke the ice and such themes became much more common and accepted.
