I don't watch or listen to any of them either. In fact -- I have never even heard of them. The truth is I don't watch TV or listen to the radio, and when I do watch TV I stay away from news outlets, and TV shows about cops, lawyers or doctors. It really doesn't leave me with much, but that's fine. I have a stack of books and some DVD collections.

You seem to be operating under a misconception that everyone who "doesn't like" Beck is working under some coordinated conspiracy to keep him down. There may even be a conspiracy (for all I know) but some of us are sick of both parties (they are both wings of the same corporatist control mechanism), and both push a status quo agenda.

The truth is I just don't like celebritards, whether they are Donkey or Elephant, and I don't care for "edutainment" either.

More than any of that though, I can'st stand the constant appeals to (misrepresented) founding fathers, and Jesus-hysteria. Take from that what you will.

Yes, I wish I was one of the peeps in Becks ear. But I am not, are you? Put together a complete synapse of what you want him to cover, if he did not respond after an excellent presentation, I would be surprised.

Just to tell you, I have a friend that knows him. He thinks that the 9/11 has been set up to destroy all the conservative movement. That may be why he HATES the movement.

Now, I have not been convinced, are you 100% sure? Or do you need another investigation? This is where I begin to falter. I do not want an investigation of the day, I want an investigation of the response.

I was building a fence at the time, I heard it over the radio. I went home, sent 25 guys home, my boss told me I was going to be fired, until he seen what was happening. I got drunk as hell, what did you do? Incompetence is NOT a proper punishment.

ok i listened to Glenn this morning and of he was ratting about the small cars , and how you cant your family on vacation, how they run on diesel fuel, and they get 40-50 mph, and pay 7$ per gal in Europe, the he bragged on how he gets 12-19 a gal in his suv and how he would walk a way from a wreck and too bad for the small car owner he should have a big vehicle as well, then he too could walk a way, what arrogance!

Glenn back seems to have a bad history.

A few months ago there was that thing where he cussed out a caller for suporting the health care bill. its not that he cussed them out it is how he did it. calling them a pinhead and speaking in a language that didn't even sound human.

Every time i see the man cry I feel as though its without soul. Aligator tears as they say. Just to get a reaction out of the people to make them feel sypathetic. Thats how I feel not what I or anyone who hasn't met the guy would know.

I have heard a few snippets here and there about him having drug convitions or something of that nature. i wouldn't know i never looked into it.

the mands also a hypocrite. somewhere alonge the lines theres a vid of him protesting the healthcare bill saying we had the best(the same one where he cussed out the caller) and another of him saying he hates the healthcare in this country.

To me he's just a mouth peice.Paid to say what others want rather than what he wants.

I read a lot of what you write on here...it is nothing ground breaking or that revealing. Not that what Beck spouts out is...but his lies and vaguness are not anything I've seen here first.


The two of you do have a common theme though...that is that you both have a warped view of America and will say just about anything to try to manipulate others to see it the same way.

The problem is not so much Beck himself. The problem is that people take every word he says as the gospel truth.

OK, I have one on him, tho I was rather surprised because I strongly support him on history. He thinks most cops are good people trying to do the r ight thing. He clearly has had no contact. The whole environment of law enforcement is very similar to military, largely because that is where many of them came from. You back up your 'buddy' even if he is absolutely wrong... and cops are no different. They weed out all the honest and good cops. Like in the Mafia, does the Mafia harbour any good and upright folk? Unlikely. Why? The culture is evil to begin with. LAWYERS are schooled in misleading, and prevarication, without actually stating something that is false. They are expert liars. The best liars among them go on to be judges. And the REALLY evil liars, go into government. And then the cops are their 'strongmen' and 'enforcers'. I was raised to highly respect cops, but I have seen firsthand a LOT of pure evil from cops, and NEVER have I met a good one.
As far as all Presidents sworn in on the Bible, the practice is ordinary ritual, and has been since the Bible was published. 1784? Maybe some didn't, I don't know. But I DO know that Baraq had a devil of a fit about it, and avoided it like it was a cross to a vampire. Weird. Methinks his mothers lineage is from Satan. Nephilim. Makes sense that Lucifer would put his own descendents in power and wealth, like the Bushs, and Gates. They are all related, descendants of his quite possibly.
As far as Nazis, that is an acronym from National Socialist something. It is big government, and so is Communism. Two sides of the same dagum coin. The conservative side is Constitutional, and SMALL limited govt. You are thinking conservative = facist, liberal=communist, constitutionalist somewhere in the middle. Not at all true. It is simple that conservative equals rights and freedoms, everything else equals the-govt-knows-best.

Just had to put it here, have never heard Glenn Beck/ Rush Limbaugh or Alex Jones and probably never will. I only look at issues or news and decide for myself. Don't understand why people find them so special instead of thinking for themselves and deciding their own views on subject.

There is an entire chapter in a book I am currently reading that directly addressed your questions and includes details, examples and easily verifiable resources: "Toxic Talk," by Bill Press.

If you are truly interesting in this, this would be a good place to start because it's specific and allows you to verify the resources used in the material.

Note to all: Do not assume you know what my political beliefs or 'motives' are based on a book I recommend or a an expression I make relative any particular issue. Thinking outside the box, conducting well-sampled research and looking at the truth of matters can be confusing, but I try to do it nonetheless.

I don't really care where Beck falls on the political spectrum, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and viewpoints. What bothers me is that he speaks with authority on subjects on which he is clearly ignorant. His take on social justice, liberation theology and the religion shows he has a total lack of knowledge yet he spends an hour discussing it to an audience of millions who, I'm guessing, don't bother to fact check him.

As I said in my earlier post. Glenn Beck makes it very clear that his show is just schtick.

It is too bad that his fans refuse to accept what the guy tells them right up front.

Sometimes I feel he has disdain for these people, that is why he calls them sick twisted freaks and idiots.

They will never get it and Glenn Beck is laughing all the way to the bank.
