I get it. I have family serving in Afghanistan, a brother leaving for his third tour with the 101st soon. One of his brothers in arms is a Muslim. I asked him how he felt about it and he said he never really thought about it, it just doesn't matter to him. He actually looked at me like the question was dumb, like I didn't understand the war or what it was like over there...he was right...it was a dumb question.

Burn a Qur'an every day if you like, but I can say this with 100% certainty...that book did not fly planes into the towers...and it wasn't a natural consequence of the Muslim Religion.

If the crusades had been successful...and the Middle east was predominately Christian...the terrorists would be declaring themselves true Christians, following the word of the angry God of the Old Testament.

Religion is just the lever to manipulate gullible pawns..not the source of the violence.

ANYTHING can be used as a means to subversion when people don't THINK. But I bet it was a long and twisted road that took you to where tolerance is now subversion anyway.

The more important question for you at the end of this road is, what are you really saying? That we should go out of the way to be intolerant just in case someone is using tolerance to subvert...something? Help us out here. Finish your thoughts.

but you Indians don't like each other so I'm not too surprised that you hate Muslims who live in India, which means they are Indian also. In my opinion, for the terrorists to do the damage, people in our government had to pave the way. Sure there were and are some nutcase extremists (and what our government does in this world it's a wonder there aren't far more) but they had pathways opened to them. You will notice in the news just this week a customs officer, Jose Melendez-Perez, stopped one of the terrorists at that time. And so the terrorist, Mohamed al-Kahtani, didn't get to participate in the blood bath. TPTB have haunted this customs officer since, looking for any way to descredit him. He did his duty at a time when he was expected to, encouraged to and pressured to stand down.

Here's the story:

He blocked a terrorist from boarding United Flight 93, saving the U.S. Capitol from attack. So why has Jose Melendez-Perez been sidelined over a bureaucratic infraction?

I have come to the conclusion that there are a small number of people in the world that will do anything for power, personal gain or to promote an agenda. At times these incongruous and unscrupulous people use each other to advantage. This, all the while thinking that they are more intelligent and ruthless than those they are using. When groups of these people with disparate agendas push in the same direction for just an instant, the rest of us are exposed to destruction on a level never imagined. And I think that was 9/11.

The exact reasons you highlight in the OP are the reasons why it was obvious the owners made the choice to use "radical Islam" as the goat... too easy, another pass.

What a shame to see someone generalizing and acting so hateful towards others. Many innocent American Muslims lost their lives on 9/11 too. Radical Muslims, such as those that want to kill us, are extremest no different from other religious extremest. You are going to have to include burning the Bible with your yearly event. More people across the world, throughout time, have been killed in the name of God than of Allah. That makes you no better, if you are a Christian. It would be unfair to lump you in with extremest Christians, like it would be to lump loving Muslims in with their extremest.

Have you forgotten history and Inquisition? The church torturing civilians, killing civilians, and taking their lands in the name of the Church? Throughout time all religions have killed in the name of their God. No one is clean. So, to become so "holier than thou" against Muslims because of a minority sect seems quite absurd and ignorant of history of all religious acts of the past and the present.

It is also quite unsettling for me to see people that claim they are loving Christians and want revenge and violence. Obviously, they don't follow their own religion (just like the Muslims of 9/11) because if they did...they would abide by Jesus' teachings...Love thy enemies and turn the other cheek...
