Okay, no replies, I will do my own reply...
Coulture vs Tony - Coulture will tap him out but he has to be careful because even though Tony is older, he can still knock a mofo out!

A.Silva vs Sonnen - Look forward to Silva shutting Sonnen's mouth up! Could be a decent fight, for a change considering no one has challenged Silva all year!

Fedor - He is still the best imo, and I don't think he will rush to the open guard of a 2 time world champion jujitsu fighter again.

GSP vs Koscheck - GSP will spank Koscheck and I will enjoy it. Never liked Kos.

Bj Vs Edgar rematch - BJ will probably take this one making for a 3rd finally between the two, if BJ can slow Edgar down, the guy is like the Energizer bunny!

Lesner vs Cain - Could be a great fight! I would go with Cain on this one, he seems to be more rounded and experienced in MMA, not to mention a BAMF!

Aoki - A sensation to watch and only getting better. I have never seen anyone able to "stick" to an opponent like Aoki!

Schweet! I see you are into JKD, my favorite style, though it is now called Mixed Martial Arts huh?
. Bruce had it figured out long ago. Great book and philosophy!
I love the progression of the martial arts and hope to see intercontinental competitions at some point, if they can iron out all the money issues. That is what the fans ultimately want I think.
Are you linked up to MMA share? Very cool, all the fights same day.

Now, .. for some predictions.

Couture should mop up Toney like you said, IF he takes him down it shouldn't get passed the first round. However I heard Toney has been training with Frank Mir, and still might have some punching power, will be interesting to say the least.

Silva seems like the favorite here, but I also thought Marquardt would destroy Sonnen. I think people are picking up on Silva's style, he's a counter puncher who favors aggresive fighters, Sonnen might just TRY to take him down and pray on him.

I used to hate Koscheck as well, I think it was the hair, but he really won me over when he annihilated Anthony Johnson, who I considered a top tier striker. I thought Josh was more of a wrestler but he actualy out struck Johnson. He also has good ground skills, and the ability to knock out GSP. ..... I think he'll go balls to the wall and either take the belt or go out in a blaze of glory.

I hate to go for Lesnar, but after Shane Carwin, I don't see any heavyweight who's gonna really give him much of a challenge besides Mir. Which I can't wait for.

I saw an interview with Toney, quite the character, and it seems he choked out King Mo, so he may have some ground skills, but his greatest asset is definitely his punch. Coulture may just get him down and dominate him too. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Dude I couldn't believe Nate lost to Sonnen! But what Chael did was/is very effective, and for some reason a lot of fighters don't train to get out of that position? I bet Silva is! Lesnar is the king smasher of this side mount style, but Chael has mastered it too. I think if the Sonnen- Marquart fight went another round, Nate would of won. He through some narly elbows from the ground.

Silva is definitely preparing for that move, but his knockout ability from striking always gives him a slight advantage, and ya know, I have watched him closely and I have noticed when he stars getting challenged in the ring, as in getting hit in the face or taken down, he responds by turning things up another notch, intensity wise. I do not think we have seen just how good Anderson could be.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Silva die hard, but he does got skills, and I hope he knocks Sonnen out!

Koscheck, I certainly respect his skills. He kinda turned me off in the first season of TUF when poured water on Leberman, who was passed out. Granted, I could see some humor in that, but more so I thiought it was uncool, especially because in reaction, Chris mangled his hand up on that door, crazy! He did spank Johnson, but Johnson's game is incomplete, imo, not enough ground skills, and Kos will definately take you down and his punching has improved a lot.
I want Gsp to whoop up on him, just to humble Kos a bit maybe. It will be a good fight though!

What a fight Lesnar/Carwin eh?!?! You could see on Lesnar's face in the first round, that was the first time in his life he ever got his arse kicked like that, Wow! If Shane Hadn't gassed, it would be another story, but Lesnar is a warrior, and I always enjoy his fights. Cain has pretty much dominated every fight he has had recently, and had that calm, empty and relaxed style with great intensity, strength and technique as well. He is also equally threatening standing up or on the ground.
I think Cain will beat Lesnar, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it!

MMA SHARE also has a good collection of fights and such....

Wow, never would of guessed someone could put a spanking on Silva like that! I will give Chael more credit now, though I still don't care for him. I thought Silva kind of lost the "eye of the tiger" in this fight. He says he had some damaged ribs before the fight but still.....
Man, looking forward to the rematch!

I can't believe i missed the fight yesterday......

after looking forward to it all week, all month, .... then yesterday I just forgot...... godammit !!!!

Roy " boytoy" Nelson also lost, .... sucks.

Well I learned that both Anderson and Big Roy have good chins! I couldn't hardly believe either of those fights. Big Roy gassed out early but still remained threatening! He is the only one I have seen take Juniors punches, even he was surprised.
I have never seen Silva take such a beating either, although after the fight he didn't look beat up. Great fights though, I was not disappointed!

Hey Serizawa, never too, late for the fights will continue! Glad to see another fan

Looking forward to the Toney/Couture fight this wknd. I thought Randy would easily take him but I just watched a vid of Toney training and I was impressed! He moves faster than I thought, and actually has some ground skills. He tapped out King Mo in practice with a rear choke.
The Silva/Sonnen fight was awesome! Can't wait for the rematch! I would be willing to bet it will be different next time.
Lesnor and Valasquez is going to be awesome too!
Are you a fan of Tony Jaa? The dude is mega-incredible!

Thanks for chiming in and let's make this a post fight discussion thread.

Haven't been able to watch any of the recent fights, last one was UFC 114! way back i know lol. Anyways yeah big Tony Jaa fan, the protector has some of the best fight scenes in movie history and the fact that he does all his stunts and they actually hit each other is great. I personally did not enjoy Ong Bak 2 as much as the first one.

Here's the best of Tony Jaa.

Hey IB! Yes I am looking forward to some action tonight. Not sure of the best place to watch it. I never pay for the event unless we all gather around and pitch in to watch. I always take the free low resolution option, which is okay. I think Toney has a chance to defeat Couture in the first round, then I think he is gonna gas out. Don't get me wrong, I'm pulling for Randy, but I think Toney may be more of a formidable opponent than many think. I am going out on a limb and saying Toney is going to knock Randy out in first round. But I will be shouting for Couture! And deep down I hope he schools Toney.
