I saw an interview with Toney, quite the character, and it seems he choked out King Mo, so he may have
some ground skills, but his greatest
asset is definitely his punch. Coulture may just get him down and dominate him too. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Dude I couldn't believe Nate lost to Sonnen! But what Chael did was/is very effective, and for some reason a lot of fighters don't train to get out
of that position? I bet Silva is! Lesnar is the king smasher of this side mount style, but Chael has mastered it too. I think if the Sonnen-
Marquart fight went another round, Nate would of won. He through some narly elbows from the ground.
Silva is definitely preparing for that move, but his knockout ability from striking always gives him a slight advantage, and ya know, I have watched
him closely and I have noticed when he stars getting challenged in the ring, as in getting hit in the face or taken down, he responds by turning
things up another notch, intensity wise. I do not think we have seen just how good Anderson could be.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Silva die hard, but he does got skills, and I hope he knocks Sonnen out!
Koscheck, I certainly respect his skills. He kinda turned me off in the first season of TUF when poured water on Leberman, who was passed out.
Granted, I could see some humor in that, but more so I thiought it was uncool, especially because in reaction, Chris mangled his hand up on that door,
crazy! He did spank Johnson, but Johnson's game is incomplete, imo, not enough ground skills, and Kos will definately take you down and his punching
has improved a lot.
I want Gsp to whoop up on him, just to humble Kos a bit maybe. It will be a good fight though!
What a fight Lesnar/Carwin eh?!?! You could see on Lesnar's face in the first round, that was the first time in his life he ever got his arse
kicked like that, Wow! If Shane Hadn't gassed, it would be another story, but Lesnar is a warrior, and I always enjoy his fights. Cain has pretty
much dominated every fight he has had recently, and had that calm, empty and relaxed style with great intensity, strength and technique as well. He
is also equally threatening standing up or on the ground.
I think Cain will beat Lesnar, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it!
MMA SHARE also has a good collection of fights and such....
