Something Really Strange is going on (Military Activity)

Hello, All.
Today, I've heard several fighter jets fly to the southwest (Towards Gulf Region).
Also my stepdad has been on the Interstate all day, and called telling us that something really weird is going on, that he has seen a ton of military vehicles go by. I live in NW GA (a very rural area) and we usually have people who train for the military here (Just a few usually) today, there has been a pretty decent amount. Also, (unrelated) the clouds looked very strange yesterday near sunset and there was a very odd orange color (I think linked to "Red Shift" and environmental pollution) I will post that in another thread though. Thanks for reading this, I'll be interested if anything similar like this is happening where you live.

Michelle Obama was in Mississippi today, christening a new ship. Perhaps that had something to do with it.

She also gave a speech praising the Coast Guard for oil spill cleanup efforts.

It looks like it was a pretty big to-do, so???

The first family is planning more trips to the Gulf in the next month or so, and I suppose they need the extra military protection to go along with that.

You said that there are usually " a few" people training for the military in your area and now there is a "pretty decent amount".

Could you try to estimate the numbers more clearly for everyone. Is there usually approx. 20 and now you are seeing approx. 40 - 50? Just wondering. Thanks!

Hmm, I cant estimate but at least every half hour we here a jet fly by (or two). Also, the Obama's wouldn't need this much military protection (something tells me it has to do with the TS)

By red shifting are you refering to an object approaching the Event Horizon?

If so, then yes, that is what is happening...we are approaching the Event Horizon...time may feel like its dragging its ass as well.

It couldn't possibly be the same two jets every half hour could it. It doesn't make sense for the pilots to be doing manuevers in a confined area.

As for the military vehicles. NTC is underway and most likely they are on their way to be put on the rails to start heading to California.

You will most likely see this for a few more days and after that nothing for a couple of months. After that time period you will be back on here talking about the increase of military vehicles again.

DO NOT WORRY!!!!!

They are the same vehicles coming back from California.

About the jets, how close are you to to any bases? Training maneuvers maybe?

NTC does not explain the jet fighters, and they are being reported going south west.

When I went to NTC, everyone involved flew to Cali. and we used their equipment. I would think that it still works that way. All the equipment is set up for use with the laser combat system. Wouldn't make sense to drive all the equipment to the Cali. base.

You can't read.

Jets are doing manuevers in a confined area. Thats the second line of my post.

Nobody said anything about driving them across country. I said put them on the RAILS. Soldiers fly or bus it out there.

I think I know what I'm talking about. I was my units load master 3 years in a row and I went 5 times before that.

Each time we took our own equipment. The reason being is that there isn't enough Humvees and whatnot for everyone. Besides that, you think you are just going to use their equipment and leave?

No. You clean and pack your own equipment, rail it to the destination, un packe it, use it, clean it, pack it back up, rail it home, un pack it, clean the holy crap out of it, inspect it and then park it.

Now, is there anything else you need explained to you?

NTC could very well explain the jets. It could also be any training exercise, as you do live in a very big military state and this isn't even suggesting the National Guard. Generally speaking, when you see military convoys on the interstate, it's going to be National Guard or even Army Reserves as most Active Duty Army units will ship their equipment by rail or plane.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions just because you are seeing military convoys and fighter jets, especially seeing how you are in Georgia with Fort Benning, home of the infantry and School of the Americas, along with Fort Stewart. Just to your north, you have Fort Jackson and right above that, Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune. Just to your south, you have Eglin Airbase. These are just the large military instillations and not the many more smaller ones that dot the area. Furthermore, this isn't even mentioning the plethora of National Guard units that criss-cross the state.

You are in an area of the country that has a large concentration of military instillations.

What is it with ATS and the huge amount of "OMG weird militarty activity in my area" threads?

It seems like every week since the whole swine flu crap every time someone see's a couple of tanks or fighter jets everyone gets into doom mode.

Nothing is going to happen, no nukes are about to go off, no martial law is about to be declared, no catastrophic shutdown of the grid. It's the military...

The military don't sit on their asses all day long watching war movies, they constantly participate in war games, training, you name it. There is nothing strange about it!

I am not the OP. NTC is the U.S. Army's National Training Center out in California. You train for desert warfare out there.

I know what NTC is genius I said I been there 8 times.

Anyone that types NTC will be taken to their homepage and be told what they do out there.

Tell me is it hot there also?
