All my life I was told I was a Scorpio.. Perhaps you could provide some more insight for me, if you would, please. October 25th 1987 a little after 10pm East coast, in Georgia near the St Simons Island I really really look forward to a response, who knows what kind of new perspective I could gain from this! Just wanted to edit to add - if possible if i could get my significant others.. His birthday being July 17th 1987, he was adopted but I believe he would have been born in the New York state area. I'm not sure of the time but I have a feeling it was early morning. If that is just too little information I understand.

I have been here a couple years, my mother used to talk on these boards (look for her in the Christian threads) my brother still talks here on tehse baords, my family has shared alot of itself here, including some very personal experiences outside of the realm of normalcy.

I think its more for convenience that they dont add Ophiuchus. First it would mean that the wheel was not equally divided. Plus this changes all things....

Its easier to have a fixed zodiac then to follow the changes all the time.

A few months back I started looking on other forums that talked alot about astrology and I began debating with them. I made a lot of people mad. They could not give me a good answer and which way. Thinking you know something...and admitting that you might be wrong over many many years time....is hard to do. Finally one of them told me to start my own
astronology'



They kept saying so and so was in so and so sign...and I kept challenging them. Its not only Ophiuchus they ignore....its the entire change of the whole wheel!!!!!!

This morning I visited an astrology site and it said the Sun was in Cancer.

Then compare the old positions with the new

Astrology ignores precession...ignores that it all has changes. Only 20% of the signs given by astrology truly match todays positions.

Im one of those people that get by with 5-6 hours sleep without a problem. As long as I get 5 hours Im good. I didnt used to be this way

For months, I checked with heavensabove.com....following what sign everything was in truly, then comparing it with astrology. You can click 'next' or 'previous' on the upper part of the 'sun' page and you can click through day by day. If you have the patients....click next till you reach Dec. 1st, Dec. 2, Dec. 3.....keep going.....till about Dec. 16?

This will work for you if you cant get stellarium right now.

When I started all of this a couple years ago, I could not get Stellarium for my computer was full and slow. So I did alot of clicking on heavensabove.com

When I got me a new puter....I had Stellarium in the first few days, was the first thing I downloaded on my new puter

Then studied it all that way for a while longer, it lets you go back thousands of years...and forwards thousands of years. Totally awesome stuff

This is a great question...but one I cant dare to really subject to. In astrology, alot of geometry is used (and this is one thing I like about astrology). It can offer patterns of the planets, geometrical shapes of them, and tell what sits directly across from each other, if there is a precise alignment across the wheel.

From what I know, ascendant is your 'rising sign' and 'descendant' is opposite of this sign. Lets say on a simple wheel your rising sign was Aries...you would find the sign across the wheel from Aries and this is your descendant. I do find this important....because through my studies, I found the opposite to all placements almost just as important.

Lets look at this pic....





Then I will use this link to offer me some dates of the tropical, sidereal, and real sun position (scroll down to graph).

In tropical, your Leo...in sidereal, your barely a cancer....we see on the 'sun in constellation' that the sun is about 4 days into Leo on your birth.....we then take all of these and try to find a general line through all three wheels for you.

A general descendant for you looks like Capricorn.

To come up with the geometry of it all, takes a bit more work then just loading up a astronomy program, Im starting to learn how to do little things, but takes time.
