All my life I was told I was a Scorpio.. Perhaps you could provide some more insight for me, if you would, please.

October 25th 1987
a little after 10pm
East coast, in Georgia near the St Simons Island

I really really look forward to a response, who knows what kind of new perspective I could gain from this!

Just wanted to edit to add - if possible if i could get my significant others.. His birthday being July 17th 1987, he was adopted but I believe he would have been born in the New York state area. I'm not sure of the time but I have a feeling it was early morning. If that is just too little information I understand.

Is this whats called vedic astrology?

Vedic astrology is the closest thing to having the true signs and placements....but there is still one huge problem with Vedic. It still ignores Ophiuchus. The Sun is in Ophiuchus somewhere from Nov. 30 -Dec. 17/18 now.....this is longer then the Sun is in Scorpio, a sign of the wheel. This is where my issue comes from.

When I used astronomy to find the positions of myself, and then my children. I had a child who's sun rose in Ophiuchus. Absolutely all astrology sites told me he was Sagittarius, but the Sun was not in Sagittarius. This was one of the moments on top of several others that this became personal to me, and encouraged me more to slowly start to speak about it. My only brother is Ophiuchus too! So I had to really weigh this within me. I then found out his 3 closest friends, who all act just like him (my brother) were all Ophiuchus too! I was like, that is really really weird!

My best to you

Hello again!

I can offer you what I find meaning to things...but remember, it is a path of self...so what things mean to me may have nothing to do with you. Plus there are some signs I am just not familiar with...for I have not searched them within me as much as others.

You were not born on a cusp...but I think you will find this even more interesting. The Sun rose in Leo....and was in conjunction with the heart of the Lion, Regulus. There is only 1 day out of each year the Sun conjuncts the heart of the Lion. Mercury passes on the cusp of Leo and Virgo this very day. Virgo would of been your sign if you were born 2000 years ago, so I call this your 'old' sign, meaning you can still have traits of a Virgo. Interesting mercury sits on the cusp of your old and new sign (your astrological and astronomical sings). In the early morning, Mercury is in Leo...by the end of the day, it is in Virgo. Uranus and Jupiter are in Virgo. Mars is in Scorpio. The moon passes through Ophiuchus on this day (the sign that astrology leaves out of the wheel, we really have 13 signs in the wheel). By the end of the day, the moon is in Sagittarius. The direction between Ophiuchus and Sagittarius is the direction towards the center of our galaxy. Even more interesting, it is a full moon this day. Saturn in Aries. Venus in Gemini. Pluto sits outside of the wheel in the sign of Coma Berenice.

Im really going on limb hre...k?

I look at the wheel of the path of the sun like a clock. I believe in reincarnation also, so I think we are born many times. I think we are all born into every age. I think the clock starts with Leo because I believe that the Sphinx was built as a marker to the start of the clock, Leo. We are approaching a half way point to this clock, Aquarius.

Yous Sun rises at the heart of Leo....at the heart of the start of the clock. Mabey you have been here with us a long time, since the start of it all? I cant say for sure. Are you a sure footed person in life....knowing what you like, knowing what you believe in?

If Leo is the start of the clock, Virgo would of been the last age of the last great year before the one we are in now. Its even possible that that with Mercury on the cusp of Virgo and Leo...and Virgo being your past life sign (again, only take what resonates with you).....that you were here in the last great year also. Does Atlantis interests you any?

Just because one keeps incarnating does not mean they have karma to work on. There are those that make the choice of incarnating...to keep helping their other selves.

Your King planet of Jupiter being in Virgo can mean many things. It may mean you have strong Virgo traits, it may show that this is what you need to work on the most in this life, accepting your nurturing side, or sharing your nurturing side. It may also represent a 'seed' of time, of life. Again, I would ask though, does ancient history of 10,000 years or more interests you any?

Your moon passes right over the exact place that leads us to the center of the galaxy is important. Mabey you should reflect on the whole of the galaxy, the purpose of the whole of life, us as a unit, our sphere as a part of a whole...even our galaxy as a part of a whole, the Universe. There is something there for you to reflect on...but again, this is a path of self. While the sun casts its light onto the moon during your birth, your moon is passing in front of the gate towards the center of our galaxy. Ophiuchus is known as a healer or as chaos, its the choice of self. Ophiuchus can be the catalysts to a person of all the things they have ignored in life, about what they can work in in their self. It may help them in this life work on being a better person.

For meaning, you really have to first accept what your life has been until now. Forgive others, and the self....and be ready to move forward from the past. Mabey you have already been doing this...mabey nature has helped you our and you just haven't been aware how much the cosmos can reflect what has happened to you in this life.

Saturn in Aries (our past age) may be showing you your connection of making the choice to keep incarnating to help here? I see Saturn as a counsel...or elders.

Venus in Gemini can mean that you are or need to....get in touch with a 2 in 1. Body of Earth with body of Spirit? Body of man with body of woman? Mabey you have siblings? Mabey it goes deeper then this and connects you to the very start of life for our species, man and woman, together, create.

Again, I really stress this...what things mean to one may not be for another.

Things may be for traits and personality, or it may go deeper, and be telling someone of their far past lives.

My best,
LV

Edit to add....a few pages back I explained a discrepancy I found in the site I was using (NASA of all things) that was giving me the wrong moon phases. I even made a thread on it, for it made me so mad. After my first few posts, I was noticing something not matching in the phases Nasa listed and the true phases using astronomy. I stopped posting peoples moon phases for several posts...for being unsure. I then did check some things out...and found a site that has moon phases with much accuracy....so sorry to say the moon was not full on your birth....but BLAME NASA

Here is the moon phases for your month and year.

Uranus in Ophiuchus.

Mars sitting at right elbow of Sagittarius, the arm that is pulling back the bow. Neptune in Sagittarius at the top of the bow.

Jupiter (king of planets) sits in Aquarius (our coming age).

Your moon was 2 days old...

I've heard of it as a "finger of fate." A destiny-type indicator on the day one is born. Just wondering about your input on that. My understanding is that they are rare in a person's birth chart. But I could be waaaay off on that, so I thought I'd ask. Astrology is not my strong suit.

March 20th 1968 6.30am, and is my birthday still the last day in the zodiacal year?

Interesting question, its another one of those things that what means one thing to one, may not be the same for another. But here is my take on the zodiacal year. First, you were born on the Spring Equinox...this is not always a given for the 20th because sometimes the Equinox comes on the 21st. Hre is a link showing you were born on the Spring Equinox.

www.hko.gov.hk...

The Spring Equinox is a marker to when the START of a new year can begin....but its not the exact day of the new year. What I go by is when the first sight of the new moon follows the Spring Equinox. On the day the new moon can be observed, this is the first day of a new year. This is not something that should be predicted, but should be observed, sometimes a moon is dark for 1 day, sometimes up to 3 days. So in the old days, and even today, they have men that sit atop of Jerusalem and wait for the true observance of the new moon to start a new year after the spring equinox.

Here is your moon phase for that month and year
stardate.org...

Going by this, and again, just my own personal view...the first day of the seasonal/zodiacal year...would of been March 30th that year. But you would of been born on the marker, to start this observation.

Sun rises in Pisces (current age) under the belly of the fish that sits closest to Aquarius (coming age). Saturn in Pisces close to the cusp of Cetus (a sign outside of the wheel). Mars also in Pisces.

Before the Sun rises this day, Aquarius rises in the East bringing Mercury and then Venus.

Jupiter in Leo, a few degrees above the heart of the Lion, Regulus.

Pluto at the tail of Leo, close to Coma Berenices (names after Egyptian goddess last I searched more on that).

Uranus in Virgo above left shoulder.

Neptune in Libra.

Moon in Ophiuchus at 6:30 am. (the sign astrology ignores, the sign that entered our path of the sun about 2000 years ago).

My best to you

This is where my knowledge goes no further...for this stuff would include actual degrees (aspects) between all of the planets and would relate to the actual geometry of where the planets sit. I so wish to one day figure out how to do this, it is hard since I dont use a fixed wheel. Everyone's wheel would have to made first just for them....then applied the astronomical placements on the wheel....then be able o find geometric pattens in their wheel.

Here is a link...to show what the different shapes and their meanings. I can say though...that the degrees of the the spheres apart from each other SHOULD be the same from an astrology chart (Im just assuming). If you had this in a chart done, I would assume it would still stand today using astronomy, but the planets that made the 'yod' would mabey be in different signs.

www.skyscript.co.uk...

Since astrology ignores Ophiuchus, I cant say for sure that the chart geometry would match. I hope to one day take what I do using astronomy, and make charts to show the geometric relation. Looking for someone a bit wiser then I to show me how such a thing could be done.

Interesting question!

Wow this is very interesting! I haven't read through every reply here, but I read somewhere that there should infact be 13 astrology signs along with 13 months to make 364 days (for a year) and a day spare. Anyway, I have always believed I was a virgo, here's my details: 05/09/1978 - Manchester England - 13:45

It is interesting that our moon has 13 cycles every year, 28 days each.

For every one time we go around the Sun,
the Moon goes around Earth 13 times.
The year has already been divided by Nature- 13 'moon'ths of perpetual harmony.

www.13moon.com...

In tropical astrology you are Taurus (if you were born the same day and month, 2000 years ago, you would of been a Taurus). On Sidereal astrology, you are Aries.

The Sun truly rose in Aries on your birth, but sits close to Taurus.

Before the Sun rises, Mercury comes in the East in Pisces (our current age).

Venus and Moon are in Taurus (your old/past sign). Venus sits to the front of the left horn of the Bull. The Moon sits to the front of the right horn at the time of your birth.

Jupiter in Gemini, close to Orion.

Mars in Cancer.

Saturn in Leo above left paw.

Pluto in Virgo, above her right hand.

Uranus sits atop the scales in Libra.

Neptune in Ophiuchus (the sign that astrology ignores as being part of the wheel. The sun is in Ophiuchus longer then its in Scorpio).

The Moon in Taurus would of been a 2 day old new moon, very thin crescent.

Your moon phase....

Thanks a ton Leo! That was a very indepth presentation of my sign but to be honest... I'm a bit confused as to what each point you sighted means exactly? I've been trying to look at your chart and understand the material but I'm having a little trouble. If it isn't too much of a bother could you explain to me what each means a bit more in depth. I know your trying to answer a ton of questions and I know your busy but any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
