I'm not sure I believe it. What I was saying is that most of the people who profess such beliefs don't seem to truly believe it. If they did believe in such things they wouldn't cry about Obama or any of the other petty front men.

If there is some kind of over-arching conspiracy, I cannot be certain if their aims are benevolent or not. I don't have that evidence. You have the word of many in the conspiracy world, but I have to question that they even believe it. Take for instance people like Alex Jones. He screams about Obama yet talks about some overarching conspiracy? I don't get it. That's silly, it's counterintuitive to say the least.

First one must identify who exactly is in charge. Then you have to identify their plan. Next would be their aims. The problem with interpreting intent is that is a subjective issue. Most people don't think they are somehow evil. Even the Nazis didn't think they were evil.

For some people this thread will be a case of "tell me something i don’t know" but there are also many many people who do just eat up whatever the mass media places in front of them.

It's true that some people do not want to accept the fact that they are just pawns in a game. It is because they feel helpless about it. What they don't realize is that the first step is getting everyone to realize they CAN or to WANT to do something before you can do it. It will take a lot of people to make a significant change in the way things are. Again the apathy is all part of the plan.

Lol I had a similar moment of enlightenment a while back when I was a kid. I used to love riding my scooter and bike around without a helmet and until some kid got into an accident.. it was reuired by law to have helmets or you would get your bike,scooter etc taken away now I'm not saying they are wrong for believing in childrens safety, but if we depend on tragedies to create our laws for us, then the laws are of consequence and not of wisdom

I think the only way to escape the "Matrix" is to detach yourself from the outcomes of reality to a certain degree.

Take a step back - realize that nothing is as important as it seems. Crazier things happened throughout history, and in comparison, we have it pretty good where we are at.

You're right- the news does instill fear and paranoia within the heart's and minds of people. Which is why you have to step back, realize that most of things in the world don't affect you directly or immediately, and the things that do are easily overcome.

The older I get, the more it becomes apparent we really DO live in The Matrix... or A matrix.. Just don't play the game

I was thinking today as well how we probably 95% of the time look at the effect, but hardly ever the cause. Take any crime, the person doing the crime is the "bad guy" but really isn't the bad guy the situation that produced the crime? If poverty is a cause for bad outcomes, don't blame the bad outcomes, work to fix poverty.

Crime will exist forever if each generation only looks at the criminals, what produces/causes the problem is what will end crime. But we'd rather execute people instead of thinking about what we could learn from them to prevent further death.

MSM is a very important tool for the elites who pull the strings covertly under the guise of democracy. Like a magician who distracts his audience while pulling off his trick, the elite use the MSM to distract the sheeple and to further their agenda. Many people say that there is not much difference between MSM and say ATS for instance in terms of entertainment value. But there is a crucial difference between getting information from MSM and from websites like ATS. Internet discussion forums are open to serious debates and discussions over any issue. The MSM however, is notorious for pushing the elites' agenda. Using the internet for getting the information is much better than relying on a self proclaimed, self righteous, holier than thou MSM news anchor who would never report facts as it is but would instead push the agenda of the news channel and of his/her puppet master using emotionally charged and NLP filled news reports.

You are so right! But.... You, yourself have been brainwashed.... It's not Illegal Immigrants. There is no such thing as that. It's Illegal ALIEN'S. It's amazing how crafty they can be. Thats why we need to pay close attention to every word that they spew!

I agree 100% with you and I admire and respect the fact that you didn't "wag a finger" at everyone, but instead included yourself among the admonished. Again 100% correct. Whether we know it or not, all of us are guilty of what has happened, they have gotten to each and every one of us in one way or another, even if you haven't noticed it.

Although I agree in principle with the OP, you do understand that by inciting others to "fight" against this, you are giving it relevance and importance. Instead, simply do this: Do not read anything published by the MSM. Just act as though it weren't there at all. It's kind of like people who knock on your door to sell you something: If you don't answer or better yet, you aren't even home, it's really not a problem. If you don't like something, change it by withdrawing your participation in it. Once there's no market for them, they will either die or change. You have affected the change you wanted to see. The same goes for Big Pharma and Big Oil and Big Everything Else.

This is neither encouraging nor espousing ignorance. If you were a god, you could see the big picture. As a mere mortal, you are restricted by your information sources. The best of those are your eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin. There is also the optional (strongly recommended though) spiritual heart, otherwise known as the Higher Self. The MSM and all the rest are simply making it impossible to listen to your heart/Self.

So, decide that you are a god and see it, or decide to remain as you are and content yourselves with the smaller picture. Should you choose the former, you will understand that all is as it should be. There is no need for affecting change. Should the latter be your choice, you should also extrapolate from there that you are without sufficient knowledge to judge, to demand change, to affect more than your Self.

In either case, peaceful "protest" is achieved by affecting only the realm to which you are best-advised - your Self and the life you are meant to lead here. Do the best you can with that and you will have done your share.

mass media has been turned from letting everyone know what is going on in this our world into a gigantic PROPAGANDA MACHINE, which is being used to control the masses and make them believe that all that they are told if the TRUTH AND THE WHOLE TRUTH - even though it is nothing more than lies and deceptions.
example , this so called recession we`re in-the banks and investment houses screwed up and we the people had to bail them out or so the government said.and they did. sticking us with the bill . HOW MANY OF THOSE BANKERS WERE EVER BROUGHT TO COURT TO FACE CHARGES of destroying the monetary system, and they all knew that what they were doing was wrong.
i believe only 1 did and he was so old that he wont last long and the rest who drove their banks into the ground still got paid their huge BONUSES AND PERKS.
so why was there no controls or laws put on them so this never happens again-it would not be that the BANKS own the GOVERNMENTS due to their EXCESSIVE BORROWING FROM THE banks. AND OUR governments HAVE NO PARTS TO STAND UP TO THEM AS IT SEEMS THE BANKS MAKE THE RULES AND LAWS NOT THE GOVERNMENTS.

5% interest rate hike equals about 100% increase in their profit on those cards.
CREDIT CARDS the devils advocate. read their terms carefully,as they run on a 28 DAY BILLING SCHEDULE-which means that you get 14 bills from them every year and you only make 12 payments a year.because they give you a 2 week to pay grace period on each one. 365 divided by 28 =13.1 which means 14 bills a year as they start their interest the moment that you swipe that card and there is no 30 day grace period. the more you swipe it the more interest they charge -as they add you new charges onto the old ones and you continue to pay them as if they were all charged the same day. 1,000 borrowed takes 12 years to pay back at MINIMUM PAYMENT.
mortgages work out to 3 times the amount you borrow you pay back.or 100,000= 300,000 into the banks pocket so what is your house really worth after you paid them their blood money ,no where near what you actually paid for it.
retirement savings plans [Canada ] tax break for now until you retire all that you put in is after taxes free and clear ,until you start to take it out then the tax man claws it back at a rate of 50% on everything you have in there and you can never take it all out.then you have to transfer it into a rif and it is locked in.,
mom started with 85,000 of her own 15 years ago she is now down to 35,000 she made 400 in interest on it last year,she took out 2500 and the tax man took 50% what a rip off.
now they came up with a scheme to fleece us out of more cash, high interest and no taxes on it or so they say.again mom put in 5,000 3 months ago so far she has gotten 5 and then 5.09 then 5.17 or a total of 15.26 $.at 3% rate . funny thing is that 3% of 5,000 is 150,00 $ at this rate they are paying about 1.5% and taking for themselves 1.5% per year or about .15% per month ,it should be 150.00 per month at 3% .it seems that the banks does not understand basic math. and our GOVERNMENTS once again promised us that this was good for us all.so when will they change the rules behind everyone's back for the banks greedy little pockets.

Just to clarify my position on Zietgeist.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm not so sure on the whole "Venus Project", I do think it's a lovely idea, but it is such a long way off, i don't think it's plausable for many many generations.
But! The Zeitgeist movie has given so many people a good kick up the bum!
I have lost count of the amount of people that have actually admitted to me that it's changed their whole out look on life.
They now question all aspects of their lives, they are "aware" that what most perceve as reality is actually a carefully constructed artificial reality and that it's not benign.
I'm not here to advertise for zeitgeist, I am not connected to it at all, but for me it has been a serious milestone in my life.
From watching that one movie it has caused me to look deeper into other stuff that I wouldn't have concieved to even exsist.

Anyway iI was surprised to hear you are a no timer.
I've already fessed up on the boards here. (being a truth advocate)
I've been hauled in thirty one times. The last time was in 98, and I never caught a number.
So I guess I got love.
The point is I think you should expect it.
That way if it happens , no big shock.
If it dosn't even better.
Even though I havn;t been for some time now .

Ah yes, the old Problem, Reaction and Solution trick.
This needs to be brought up, again and again, to raise awareness of what is really going on with the mass media.
It's the method most used to trick 'us', into giving 'them', whatever they want
It wasn't until a friend gave me a copy of 'Wake up call', that i had any idea how this 'method' has/is been used.

In my opinion we 'ALL' need to remember 1 thing-

If your not part of the 'Global Elite', then they want you as their slave regardless of your race, faith, creed or lack of.

Now i probably could just about get away with claiming this was a deliberate mistake in an attempt to be ironic (the title was) but that would be lying

You are correct... spelling is not intelligence... in fact to think so is nothing short of snobbery

As I’ve said on ATS before... I left school with nothing... Poor education due to mixture of Dyslexia and the fact that my father was dying from motor neurone disease through my school years.

I know my spelling and grammar is not the best... but have NO shame in it... when other kids were learning Shakespeare i was bed bathing my father and helping my mother carry him up and down the stairs!

What i know now ive slowly taught myself over the years... 20 years ago i would NEVER have written anything that could be viewed by millions... i’m happy with my progress and except the odd mistake as long as people understand what i mean!

Luckily for me, most people on ATS are forgiving of such mistakes


Oh... and to anyone who does think that intelligence can be judged on academic skills... go spend a week alone in the Australian outback and see if you smarter than the Aborigines!!
