AS we know Escutcheon means a sheild displaying a coat of arms, and Esquire refers to nobility or respect.

Interestingly enough, Esrom is also the name of a very popular, and might I add, .... delicious form of Danish Cheese.

When I think of an Elf, ... a dark one at that, I imagine a terrifying creature with claws, frightening teeth, swords, daggers and all of this, ... interestingly you went with an Elf sporting Jheri Curls.

Perhaps you have combined your fascination with RPG's, namely World of Warcraft, and Michael Jackson, ... to create a synergistic collage of all things which are inherently you.

Actually it was EQ, not WoW. The avatar comes from an old EQ support site called Caster's Realm. The darkelf was a drawing of a darkelf necromancer that I colorized. I chose darkelf as my username because I was still an avid EQ player and the darkelf was my favorite race. Plus they have the coolest city in Norrath. EQ is still available on line and SOE has released a few expansions since I quit playing in 2006. I now play SWG (Star WarGalaxies), another SOE game. So you are correct on the RPG part.

I've never been a big Michael Jackson fan, but I will conceed that my avatar does have a certain resemblence to him. Notice his head is bowed. He is in constant mourning for the state of affairs in RL (Real Life). Good Job

Ah yes, I finally have a good view of your Avatar, .. and while my companion TribeWilder would suggest it is a vision of Hell, I must reluctantly disagree.

It is a snapshot of your childhood growing up in Quebec, and while you may seem extremely muscular you only eight years old in this picture, and the chains which " bind" you are actually decorative pieces of jewelry your mother made.

Times were hard back then, you had to trek fifteen miles every day to school, sometimes in 3 feet of snow. When you got home you would have to help out on the farm until nightfall, hence your well build musculature. There was never much to eat in those days, everything was in short supply, yet you used what the land gave you, in this case ......... human bodies !!!

You would often Shanghai weary travelers, using their body's and limbs to construct the most basic needs.

The head, .. or toilet, ... was an actual head.

Interesting ... I have studied this one for quite some time. ...

Who is that girl ?? What is she saying ?? Is she single ?? Would dating an anime girl be creepy ??

After much speculation, I have finally come to a conclusion. She is a physical manifistation of the voice you hear which repeatedly shouts " bad girl" .... " bad girl" ...... " BAD GIRL" !!!!

It echo's through every part of your being, casting it's harsh judgment upon you. Drowning out the sounds around you, and slicing through your very thoughts.

Sometimes you can manage to block it out, ... but it is only a matter of time untill the persistence of your master's call overrides any, and everything. You rush to your room and choose the tool of your dark lord's bidding, ... may it be a baseball bat, whip, cable, hammer, or whatever he find's appropriate.

You try to fight back, screaming " I am not a bad girl" yet he will not relent, and soon you are beating your own back with a bolt studded whip. Begging for the voices to stop, .... for peace.

It would be many years, Untill you finally realized where the voice actually came from. It was your next door neighbor yelling at her overactive chihuahua.

I suspect that your love of anime and reference to Turtledove's novels reflects a tendency to be a "dreamer". Often disconnecting from reality to live in a fantasy land. Overly involved in Video games, books, cartoons, things like this.
