Chavez is active with Iran in NAM, which I mentioned earlier in the thread. He knows what's really going on here too. I'm almost beginning to gain more respect for Iran at the moment. They've actually handled decades worth of resisting peacefully with some grace (and okay some lunacy), compared to some other countries we won't name.

True there was alot of MSM coverage...
It was also a different time with a different mood in the states.
They were playing on the paradigm at the time which made it advantageous to telegraph their moves as it proved they were taking the "terrorist" issue seriously.

Current mood in the states at the moment (without further agitating, whether false flag or real) is one of being fed up with war and confused about the direction of the current ones.

You can see that the gubbment knows this by how they tried to blame the BP disaster on a NK sub... Tried to float a story that Binladen is in Iran...

Agreed. I need to spend those two weeks in Damascus quickly it looks like, as it won't long remain a viable option for holidays.

I am trying hard to imagine (and failing) how the majority of the world's inhabitants are going to deny this one, no matter how much the media help them...

I was so hoping no one would use the Z-word here and that we could stick to the more common names for these people and countries. This is going to start that same old tired battle again and distract everyone from sanity and reason. That's my prediction.

I disagree that it would be just Israel's war. I would agree though that we're in it together for many reasons, some of which overlap and some of which don't.

I agree with you on this. We dont want another 10 years of useless war and we wont be pawn of Israel and fighting for them. Iran is no threat to US period. Whoever feels Iran is threat to them can go and fight their own war without wasting our money and our soldiers.

Actually no, the real reason to invade Iran for US apart from of course Israel's influence is to surround Russia and neutralise their threat. It's all about taking control of Caspian Sea which before the collapse of USSR was it's play field.

Another thing, war would not happen before 2013 there's 55% chance of that. The reason is US missile shield will be ready for Israel by 2013.

If this is really going down its about damn time. If the USA is going to be involved I give much praise to Obama (which up until now has received none from me). No doubt a large scale war would trigger a draft though. Might be just what we need for our "spoiled brat generation".

We are witnessing the chess pieces in play for the 3rd match and this time enemies are on equal footing thanks to the atomic genie being let out (We only succeeded thanks to the Nazi's work prior to their defeat)

U.S.A needs to go over to all those countries over there and take off the veil and rag on everyones head. Then, REEDUCATE the children so they see the truth, then give wimen the same rights as men over there. START over and set the minds free of the bull they teach the children over there now. We are in effect fighting Israel's wars by proxy. That's the only reason we are all 'in it together' - quite a remarkable choice of words.

israel couldn't even beat hezbollah in lebanon, america is still fighting the iraq war and osama is drinking margheritas in cancun. to be fair they're not really looking for osama because if they did kill the man responsible for 9/11 america would have no excuse to be in afghanistan. iran isn't a weakened nation with a demoralized army like iraq and they have advanced weaponry supplied by russia and china. expect israel getting bombed by massive amounts of missiles with dummy warheads to exhaust the patriot missile defence followed by cruise missiles which iran has plenty of. they have been preparing for this for a long time.

All angles being discussed here are trumped by the concept of non-proliferation.

The international community simply cannot continue to stand by and fight nuclear proliferation with nothing stronger than words and committees. This is widely known in academic and government circles across the globe.

Anyone who thinks the governments maligning or obstructing any US/Israeli action in Iran have purer motives at heart isn't looking hard enough. This story DOES NOT end at the obvious US economic interest punchline you already know.

BS, Russia attacked Georgia because they were headed to Israel. Bush had a massive NATO armada steaming to Iran and Putin made his displeasure known with that invasion. Bush turned the armada around and Putin-Bush agreed to blame Georgia for attacking SO as a cover story. Putin was stupid and he will be again. NATO could have wiped out his little army quickly as their were many blunders by Russian forces.

This time Russia will only make its move when most of the GOG-Magog alliance look like they have the upper hand against Israel. Israel will be forced and I repeat FORCED to nuke Russia's army as it will be the only way to stop them. With Israeli missile defense systems in place Russia will lose 2/3rds of its whole army while Israel nukes pound away at will.

Israel is being set up by Obama, Bush stopped pushing the Iran issue because he didn't want to cause a world war with Russia. Obama wants it to start so he can stop it and be the GREAT PEACE MAKER.

Georgia was headed to Israel? Never heard that one before. And NATO didn't attack S Ossetia. They trained Georgian soldiers. It was still the Georgian military that invaded and was repelled by Russian forces. This happened 2 years ago.
