at most we can deduce that isolationism is even more wrong than we already thought.

as for that irish origins site. the people who wrote that thing have such a poor grasp of egyptian beliefs and knowledge that i can't figure out where they are getting this stuff from.
half of it looks wrong and the the other just looks like they pulled out of their nether regions.

for one thing horus was a sky god not a sun god, the author also seems to have confused a hawk with a FALCON. how can anyone take this nonsense seriously given that the author can't even bother to learn basic information?

who know the letter H means the? lol what bollocks. i think who ever wrote this needs to go take a class on egypt.

the site calls Hor-aha fighting hawk, this is wrong it means horus the fighter, or fighting falcon.

Its not like they mistook a humming bird for a falcon.....but you may be on to something...the only primary diffrence that may be applicable here is that falcons dont make thier own nests but nest in the nests of others. The are of the same order ( Falconiformes) as hawks... diffrent family.

Narmer used the falcon and in my humble opinion he and his came from outside Egypt and conducted a campaign of unification and subjugation and then set up rule there....so being more like the falcon than the hawk.

Someone using a falcon may indicate they intend to take over your stuff whereas hawks and eagles carry the booty away to thier own nests. Dont know that the symbolism was taken that far but it could have been considering the eagle symbolism found in the old hebrew prophets was consitant with eagles ways. Most notably in carring off things.

Exactly which European DNA is King Tut's having? German? France? or Brits? hahahaha

Let's have a look, Egyptian has history 4000 yrs back, European has 2000 years back, if there is a similarity in DNA between King Tut's and Western European, what it means? It means Western European came from Egypt, NOT King Tut's came from Europe.
It is just like saying Japanese came from America after finding some Japanese has red Indian DNA.

Even if King Tut's came from Europe or Japan, he lived in Egypt, he built pyramids in Egypt, EVERYTHING he had that had been stolen by EUROPEAN must go back to EGYPT!

i believe the ancient egyptians were black, it is in the African contient. What if the egyptains of today were in fact the result of migration in the African-Descent region. History of the Ancients is lost to mankind. But it lies in my DNA.

I don't know if it's a DNA thing but that keeping people ignorant, raising war or destabilizing things all over has proven to be a effective solution to stay in control of things, is pretty much a fact.

By ceasing key assets of ancient history, controlling the flow of information, manipulating information, inciting fanaticism (be it religious, political or patriotic) at any level your gain control over people.

Most (if not all) religions do it, just like any type of government does it. From Jews to Catholics, from democrats to socialists.

It's all about control, property and cui bono.

Wow, this is crazy news. I thought for sure King Tut's DNA would have matched the modern Egyptians. Less than 1% of modern Egyptians share King Tut's DNA!

LONDON (Reuters) - Up to 70 percent of British men and half of all Western European men are related to the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, geneticists in Switzerland said.
Scientists at Zurich-based DNA genealogy centre, iGENEA, reconstructed the DNA profile of the boy Pharaoh, who ascended the throne at the age of nine, his father Akhenaten and grandfather Amenhotep III, based on a film that was made for the Discovery Channel.
The results showed that King Tut belonged to a genetic profile group, known as haplogroup R1b1a2, to which more than 50 percent of all men in Western Europe belong, indicating that they share a common ancestor.
Among modern-day Egyptians this haplogroup contingent is below 1 percent, according to iGENEA.
"It was very interesting to discover that he belonged to a genetic group in Europe -- there were many possible groups in Egypt that the DNA could have belonged to," said Roman Scholz, director of the iGENEA Centre.
Around 70 percent of Spanish and 60 percent of French men also belong to the genetic group of the Pharaoh who ruled Egypt more than 3,000 years ago.
"We think the common ancestor lived in the Caucasus about 9,500 years ago," Scholz told Reuters.
It is estimated that the earliest migration of haplogroup R1b1a2 into Europe began with the spread of agriculture in 7,000 BC, according to iGENEA.
However, the geneticists were not sure how Tutankhamun's paternal lineage came to Egypt from its region of origin.
The centre is now using DNA testing to search for the closest living relatives of "King Tut."
"The offer has only been publicised for three days but we have already seen a lot of interest," Scholz told Reuters.

Ummm... Where exactly are you getting your information from? Your dates are seriously out....

The Great Pyramid at Giza supposedly dates from 2560 BC.

So I think you'll find that there were people in Europe that were building massive monuments 600yrs before Egypt's great pyramid was built. Personally I doubt the dating of the sphinx but thats another story
