Despite the refusal of the Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, Zahi Hawass, to release any DNA results which might indicate the racial ancestry of Pharaoh Tutankhamen, the leaked results reveal that King Tut’s DNA is a 99.6 percent match with Western European Y chromosomes.

Of course, Zahi Hawass wouldn't want anyone knowing this. Do you even think it's true?

That would support their own accounts that they came from "the ocean in the West".
Too bad "science" doesnt "allow" for that to be true.

Too bad they didn't realize that interbreeding makes your family tree pretty ugly...

I'm positive that there are people in the world who do understand better the world's history.
My concern is why this needs to be hidden? What is the bigger secret?
In February 2010, the results of DNA tests confirmed that Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenaten (mummy KV55) and his sister/wife (mummy KV35YL), whose name is unknown but whose remains are positively identified as "The Younger Lady" mummy found in KV35.[5]

I went to the link in your source , OP. After being about one quarter into the article the page jumped. The browser bar at the top said "redirect" and then the page turned into a 404 error information page. I'm not tecch savvy , but I know I didn't touch my keyboard. Is that a virus ? Or is that page coming down and/or under attack?
Very interesting find. I'm amazed at the way this came about. SnF
This cover of the June 2005 National Geographic magazine features the French rendering of Tutankhamun, the only one of three executed in 2005 that was given a skin color. The bust features what its creators considered a "mid-range" skin tone for modern-day Egyptians

In human genetics, Haplogroup R1b is the most frequently occurring Y-chromosome haplogroup in Western Europe, parts of central Eurasia (for example Bashkortostan[3]), and in parts of sub-Saharan Central Africa (for example around Chad and Cameroon). R1b is also present at lower frequencies throughout Eastern Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, and parts of North Africa. Due to European emigration it also reaches high frequencies in the Americas and Australia. While Western Europe is dominated by the R1b1b2 (R-M269) branch of R1b, the Chadic-speaking area in Africa is dominated by the branch known as R1b1a (R-V88). These represent two very successful "twigs" on a much bigger "family tree".
The online news site European Union Times (EUT) — which recently “broke” a story about President Obama preparing for an imminent civil war — is being cited as a credible source by several libertarian bloggers who are hyping the story.
The European Union Times isn’t exactly a venerable news source akin to, say, The Associated Press. It is registered to Jessica Nachtman, wife of Christopher Nachtman. [Editor's note: After the initial posting of this blog item, Jessica Nachtman wrote Hatewatch to say that she merely provides Web hosting for "a European who lives abroad," who she declined to identify further. She said she does not publish or modify any of the site's content.] Christopher Nachtman is a former member of the neo-Nazi group National Alliance who more recently has been active in Volksfront, a racist skinhead group.

I was just thinking that just because King Tut's DNA most closely matches the people who live in western europe now... it does not follow that he CAME from western europe. It coule be that the people who are in western europe now had traveled from the east, the far east, the far north,... of course, we think we know that all human life started in africa...
So... maybe it's not unnatural for him to have this particular kind of DNA. Maybe it's interesting the OTHER way around.
Maybe the people who are in western europe are the descendants of Tut's bloodline.
